Few places in Lahaina are as special as Lahaina Shores today. This oceanfront resort is one of the rare survivors of the August 8, 2023 fire, offering guests a unique, serene beachfront experience in the heart of Lahaina. With no neighboring hotels or condos nearby, the golden sand in front of the property feels wonderfully secluded—a quiet stretch of coast where you can swim, snorkel, or simply unwind to the gentle rhythm of the waves.

This studio apartment combines comfort and style with a spacious layout, a new Cal King bed, linens and towels, and a fully stocked kitchen for casual meals at home. Step onto your lanai and enjoy panoramic ocean views and spectacular sunsets each evening. This is more than a vacation rental—it’s a front-row seat to Maui’s beauty, a haven of calm, and a place to connect with the resilient spirit of Lahaina.

When you’re ready to explore, Lahaina Shores is a perfect home base. Enjoy shopping and casual dining at Cannery Mall, or visit nearby favorites like Mala Ocean Tavern, Honu Oceanside, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle. Kaanapali Beach, with its snorkeling, Black Rock cliff diving, beachside restaurants, and sunset catamaran cruises, is just a short drive away. The resort itself offers an oceanfront pool, hot tub, barbecue grills, and a manicured lawn perfect for relaxing with a book or taking in the view.

Whether you’re here to unwind or explore all that Maui has to offer—from scenic drives and waterfalls to Upcountry farms and the Road to Hana—Unit 423 provides a rare combination of comfort, convenience, and oceanfront beauty.

On-site parking at Lahaina Shores is limited and may be unavailable during moderate to high occupancy periods. Parking is not guaranteed. Alternative off-site parking options are being explored. Guests with rental cars should plan accordingly.

The staff was so kind. Our veiw of the ocean was perfect. Rooms were clean. Not to mention it was close to some really good restaurants. Definitely would stay there again

I’d anything the view is undersold by the owner. We wound up spending a lot of time on the balcony just looking at the view. At checkin it was suggested we open the doors at night to enjoy the sound of the waves… perfect advice. Nighttime temps meant the AC was not needed and the gentle waves against the shoreline lulled us into a restful sleep each night. The room was well stocked and cooked most of our meals in the kitchen. There was a full size fridge and oven. While there was a dishwasher we did not need to use it. Each evening found us walking on the beach soaking in the sunset and walking in the water - very good walking beach.The only sound other than the waves was the occasional giggle of a child playing in the pool - never loud and a very cheerful sound to hear in the background. We walked into Lahaina to see the banyan tree and the reconstruction efforts underway after the fire. Obviously much has changed in Lahaina since the fire, but the water, sunsets and this units location do what Maui is intended to do … provide rest and a peaceful respite.

I enjoyed my extended stay at Lahaina Shores Resort. Very peaceful which is exactly what I was looking for. Suite is very clean and nicely decorated. The only thing I would recommend, is to have a flashlight in the unit. Electric was out, and it was difficult to get around. I would absolutely recommend this place.

The communication was great, the lanai and view were everything I had hoped for, very clean property. A lot of rebuilding going on in the neighborhood after the fires (so happy to see!). Part of Front street was closed but still walkable to restaurants and some shopping (about 40 minute walk). Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Hawaiin Vacation

Lahaina Shores Gem

A perfect spot for us. We love being near Lahaina, but if you want to have oceanside accommodations, listen to the surf laying in bed at night, and see whales from your lanai, this is the place. Great location for day trips to Ka'anapali and Kapalua areas.

Great Location

The location was perfect! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We saw whale shows right from our balcony. The place was very clean. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic view

This place has a wonderful private location. You can leave the balcony glass door open and see the edge of the beach and the ocean beyond, and hear the waves.

Fabulous find!

We loved our stay here. Great location right in the beach with pool and spa onsite as well. Walking distance to shops and the Banyan tree. Clean and luxurious, especially with the balcony views! Would return!

Wonderful

This unit was perfect. The inside was comfortable and very clean. The view was beautiful and got to watch the sunset every night. It was an amazing vacation.

Great location and property

My wife and I decided to come to Maui for our babymoon and we were very happy with the property. It is in a great location that is walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Additionally, the property came equipped with anything you needed for a beach day like towels, chairs and an umbrella. I would come back to this property again
