Adirondack charm is found throughout this spectacular cabin. Located on seven acres, with 1500 feet of private lakefront, this location offers a swimming beach and floating dock, walking trails and pristine views of lake and abundant wildlife.

Crafted in the tradition of Adirondack style, this lakefront cabin offers endless outdoor recreational opportunities such as swimming, fishing, canoing, loon watching, mountain biking, 4-wheeling, kayaking, white water rafting, berry picking, the list goes on and on.

The cabin will comfortably accommodate up to eight people and is a great getaway location for family and friends of all ages.

We just got back from a fabulous week with our family. The property is beautiful. Clean home, awesome fireplace, calm lake for fishing and swimming, and everything you need.

We stayed almost a week and it was BEAUTIFUL. The cabin has a beautiful deck and overhang porch with plenty of seating for our family to have morning coffee. Our kids had such a blast swimming in the river and swimming to the raft! It was such a remote peaceful spot. There was also plenty of yard for the kids to play, and even a basketball hoop! The road to drive to the cabin was definitely an adventure, I do recommend an suv or truck for the ride. We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for sharing your slice of paradise!

My family stayed here during the week of my mom's funeral, and it was exactly what we needed. We had six adults, three children, and three babies, and the home accommodated all of us comfortably. We were even able to host cookouts for extended family who had traveled in for the funeral.Everything we needed was provided exceptfor sheets and towels, so I made a quick trip to some local secondhand stores to pick thoseup. It was a small inconvenience compared to everything else the property had to offer.In the midst of a difficult time, this place gave our family the opportunity to be together, create new memories, and find moments of peace. We enjoyed boating, swimming, relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, and sharing story after story around the campfire in the evenings. We're truly grateful for such a welcoming place during one of the hardest weeks of our life. Out Host, Mike was very responsive and accommodating

Great stay

Its like we were in our own little world. We had a great stay. Lots of fishing. Little bit of swimming. Its on a dead end road away from the world and was just what we needed. The owners were great!

Little slice of Heaven

We were very, very pleased with our stay. Mike has created a fantastic, user-friendly, well maintained site that is the perfect blend of woods, water, maintained trails, and such a wonderful cabin. We are already considering booking another stay. Thank you for such a great getaway.

Fantastic cabin getaway

This is our third visit to the McCormicks Cabin! We love this little off-the-grid cabin in the woods. Just the right place for our family to get away and unplug and enjoy life together. Mike was attentive and great to work with - we will be going back!

Simply beautiful

This spot was truly worth the drive to get there. The cabin itself was very well maintained. A great place to unplug, decompress and have a fun family vacation. Owners were quick to respond to my questions, and I highly recommend.

So peaceful

Very nice, as fishermen, my brother and I loved the decor theme of the house. But everyone settled into a great state of relaxation. The lack of internet service turned out to be a key ingredient here - all reported much better sleep. Yes, we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

A wonderful place to stay

We had a great and too-short visit to the McCormick's cabin. It was in a beautiful and calm location and we really enjoyed all of the amenities (wood stove, porch, fire pit, lake, yard and boats), and had almost everything we needed for a shared Thanksgiving dinner. The kids loved the bunk room and the game closet. Mike's communication was excellent. Thank you very much Mike!

Off the grid

Beautiful setting. Would’ve been nice to have towels and linens provided. No phone or internet can be seen as a plus or minus. Use of canoes, kayak, row boat was awesome. Very private. Great games

The perfect oasis.

My husband and two sons met his brother’s family for a relaxing few days in the woods. The cabin a beautifully situated with a gorgeous view of the lake. We got a lot of use out of the plethora of watercraft, floating dock, amazing fire pit. Mike provided the firewood too! We enjoyed watching a beaver family hard at work every evening. The cabin itself had all the comforts of home… minus tv and internet..: which was actually perfect since it gave us the opportunity to unplug and unwind. Thank you for a wonderful visit. The owners were helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

amazing fishing, peaceful getaway

this property is so unique and beautiful, it’s private and big. if you’re looking for a retreat where you’re not on top of your neighbors, this is also the place! my husband and boys caught so many fish that they lost count! this has never happened to us before! Mike was so accommodating and kind to greet us. This place truly has it all. I was so worried at fist about not having wifi or cell service but that ended up being just what the doctored ordered. Had a surprise show from some fighter jets training during the week, that was so cool to see. highly recommend!!

Great time

I just had a fishing getaway with three friends here and it was just about perfect. The owners were friendly and made the whole process smooth. They clearly take pride in taking care of this place. The cabin was the perfect blend of nice and comfortable. There’s good parking and easy access to boats and docks. There are a number of pretty places to just sit and be, rejoicing in the fact your phone is now just a camera. Some people might not like the no-WiFi bit, but I loved it. That’s why you’re going away to a lake. Oh. And the fishing was fantastic. Bring lots of 1/4 oz jig heads and two inch Mister Twisters. Nice cabin. I’d go back for sure.

This was our second consecutive stay at Mike's property, and again, no disappointments. This place checks all the boxes for us. It's secluded, cozy, quiet, and so very relaxing. Yet, as "out there" as you feel, you're just minutes from town and all its conveniences. Believe the descriptions in the listing. Trust the photos - they are not misleading. This place is the real deal and I'm sure we'll be back again next summer. This property has our highest recommendation without hesitation!Thank you,The Fox Family

Absolutely beautiful. Mike is a great host and the property is well maintained and well stocked. You must bring your own linens and drinkable water which wasn't an issue. Effley falls pond in more of a lake with 6.8 miles of shoreline. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and swimming. There's a small beach, a hidden dock which we loved to read and fish from. The fire pit is on the other side of the property and is well stocked with seasoned firewood. Bring lighter fluid. We use dry leaves and pine needles but lighter fluid would help it it's damp. The cabin is hidden from the lake and it's very quiet and peaceful. We had a great time. You won't go wrong renting from Mike.
