Bonnet Shores, Rhode Island Summer Rental

The home is a well maintained, fully furnished, contemporary saltbox built in 2001. The first floor contains an open kitchen, dining area and living area with cathedral ceiling. Also on the first floor is the master bedroom with queen bed and full bath, washer and dryer location and guest lavette. Off the living area is a sundeck and off the dining area a screened-in porch.

The second floor has two bedrooms, each with one double bed and a full bath on the floor. The house has central air conditioning and each bedroom contains a ceiling fan. The property is minutes from area beaches, fifteen minutes from Newport, a half-hour from Providence and forty minutes from New London.

The home is available weekly from June 1 through August 31. Please contact me for further details.

The home is fully disinfected in-between bookings. Sanitary wipes will be provided.

How beautiful inside and out

Hi what a great place to stay! It was just my husband and myself. This home was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped not one thing was missing.The yard and the flowers were just so wonderful surrounding the entire property.the house has a screened in back porch with so nice to hang out and have coffee and Listen to the birds and look at the beautiful surroundings. Location is key it’s close to many beaches Jamestown Newport. it’s a very relaxing and enjoyable stay thank you Richard you are a. Great Host.

Hidden Gem

Richard was a fantastic host, we would highly recommend. The house is meticulously clean and roomy to host our family. They have a gated yard which is great for children and you can walk to the beach. It’s a great value for the area.

Great house; expected it to be closer to beach

The house is beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean. It was very comfortable for me and my son and 2 grandchildren. The host was very nice and accessible. Two misleading items in the VRBO description: *There is no hot tub as was listed. It apparently refers to the Jacuzzi bathtub in the primary bathroom. *The beach is listed as a 15 minute walk from the house (there is no parking at the beach). The 15 minute walk refers to entering at the opposite end of Kelly Beach through a gate and guard with another beach. Our passes don't allow for access to that beach, and you must rely on the guard allowing you to pass through. (We went on a day when the guard was on break so we were able to get in.) If you walk the "legal" way to Kelly Beach, it takes well over an hour!

Terrific home for our family

We have rented homes in the area for several years now and I can say with confidence that this is the best one that we have rented. It was very clean upon arrival, everything was exactly as the listing stated, every amenity was available and working well. The owner was very communicative throughout and incredibly responsive and respectful. We would absolutely rent again if we have the chance next summer!

True vacation

Richard is a fantastic host and offers his house with a welcoming, easy going style. It is close to Narragansett beach, nice restaurants and shops that make a vacation relaxing. Excellent first time experience with VRBO.

A great place for a beach vacation.

The house was great, exactly as described. It was clean and everything was in great condition. Not really walking distance to the beach, but it is close and easy to get to. A nice benefit was the quick walk to the coffee spot, ice cream shop and a few restaurants.

Great Rental in Narragansett

This house was perfect for our week's stay in Narragansett. The outside was quite attractive with much greenery and grass. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. It was VERY clean, bright and pretty inside. A particular attraction was the screened in porch off the kitchen. We enjoyed reading and relaxing out there in the afternoons and evenings. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable with an en-suite off the downstairs bedroom. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had; both before we got there, and once we arrived. He was helpful and knowledgeable about the area too. We highly recommend this rental and look forward to returning to it when we visit Narragansett again.

Great place for a relaxing family getaway

Richard was a great host, and provided all information and help throughout our stay. well stocked, clean, well maintained home, perfect for a couple with 2 teen age kids. There is a 5-10 min to the beach, or 10 min drive to Narragansett town beach. While the backyard is really small, the screened porch is amazing for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Thank you, Richard!

Another Awesome Vacation

This is the third time we've stayed at this home for our summer vacation. The house is clean, spacious and perfectly located. Beaches and restaurants are only a short distance away. We will be coming back

Wonderful vacation at Richard’s

Everything about our experience with Richard was terrific! The house is exactly as described in Vrbo. Very light, spacious and well equipped! it was very enjoyable to have coffee or a glass of wine sitting in the lovely screened in porch. (I was able to cut roses from Richard’s roses bushes which was a lovely touch as I put them throughout the house.) And very importantly Richard was very accessible when we had questions. We love Narragansett and Bonnet Shores and there was plenty of information about things to do in the area. There are lots of nice restaurants locally and Newport is just across the bridge. Actually 2 bridges. Also we flew up from Florida and the airport is very close by. If we are able to we may rent again next year!

A Wonderful stay in Narragansett

This well equipped property is sparkling clean and very well taken care of by the owner. The kitchen, living room and dining area are filled with light due to the open floor plan, sky lights and a wall of windows and sliding glass doors. The screened in porch off the kitchen was a delightful place to have our morning coffee and to entertain family and friends. The roomy master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and laundry area on the first floor were very convenient. The two good sized bedrooms and full bathroom on the second floor provided guests privacy. The owner, Richard was very responsive when we had questions about the air conditioning and the pass to the nearby beach. My husband and I truly enjoyed our two week stay at this lovely house and look forward to returning next year. The only challenge that was noted (by our guests) during our stay was in regards to lumpy mattresses on the beds on the second floor.

Lovely house

This is a lovely house on Bonnet Shores. It is clean and well stocked. It had everything, including items needed for the beach. It’s very big and airy. I hope the owner has plans to replace the mattresses. They are quite hard and will be a problem for older renters.

Great House, Central Location

Hi, my family stayed in this property for a week in August and had a great time. The house was the perfect size and located close to beaches (Narragansett and Scarborough) and restaurants. We had to arrive a day late due to a storm and Richard was very attentive and always answered my questions. He even offered us to come a day earlier. He was a great host. The house does need to be updated a bit and the upstairs mattresses do need to be replaced as they were not too comfortable. But besides that we had a great time and can't wait to come back to Narragansett. Thanks Richard!

Excellent Stay at Bonnet Shore

Richard's property was very clean and welcoming when you walked in the door. My 9 month old granddaughter was with us and i had no worries with her crawling on the floor. The home was perfectly located between Newport and Point Judith for beaches and restaurants. We can't wait to go back next year!

Great house for Narragansett getaway

We stayed at Richard's home in late June 2021. Richard was very responsive during the booking process and also quickly answered questions during the week we stayed. The home was very clean and stocked with the essentials like paper products, cleaning products, linens, and towels. We appreciated that it was air conditioned during some very hot days, and that we could also enjoy some time screened in porch or on the small deck. Having a washer and dryer was also a bonus. The location was in a nice, quiet neighborhood; although it is close to the shoreline on the map, it is not really within walking distance. It's about a 10 minute drive to Narragansett town beach and 15 minutes to Scarborough beach. The only minor complaints my kids had were that the mattresses in the upstairs bedroom were a little uncomfortable, and the master bedroom mattress was a little too firm for my liking. Overall we enjoyed the house and would recommend it for any future visitors.

Great spot for gathering with family

My wife and 2.5-year-old daughter gathered with my sister and her family of three, and my mother at this lovely VRBO. It was perfect for spending vacation time together, with a light and airy great room, a nice screened-in porch, a sunny and grassy backyard, and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It's also centrally located, with restaurants and ice cream very close by, and tons of attractions within a short drive. Richard, the owner, was incredibly responsive and very easy to communicate with. Just one thing to note, if you want to walk to Kelly Beach from the house (and you'd need to walk, because there is no parking), it's well over a mile, because you'll need to go up to Route 1A and then back down Bonnet Point Road to get there. Not a big deal, since there a ton of amazing beaches with parking a short drive away. Overall, highly recommended!

Perfect week away

Our stay at Richard's house could not have been better. The location was great! Close to everything. His house has a wonderful backyard and deck. We loved the screened in porch! Great place to relax.

First Vacation in Narragansett

The property was perfect for my family. It is in a great location for day trips to Newport, Block Island and Watch Hill as well as several beaches. It’s close to grocery shopping and restaurants and a beautiful park for toddlers. The house was clean with everything needed for an enjoyable week. There is a comfortable screened porch to have coffee on the cool mornings and drinks in the evening. The owner was accessible and responsive. Highly recommended.

GREAT VACATION HOME

House was in very good condition. Home owner was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Brought extra propane when running low and went out of his way to get us beach passes. Highly recommend renting this property.

Tucked away beach house

The house was built for family use and is nicely landscaped and well laid out. It is on a quiet residential street. The house has a very nice deck with gas grill and a great screened in porch. It rained for most of the week we were there so we didn't get to enjoy that as much as we would have liked. The house has good space and Richard was a thoughtful host and responded promptly. The master bedroom would be more comfortable with a softer matress.
