This solar-powered house boasts a private balcony & patio with ocean views. Relax & hear the waves crash on our private sandy beach front. We are located at the heart of all the best that Baja Sur has to offer. Limitless adventures await in the surrounding area while you stay at this quiet and peaceful sanctuary. This entire home rental includes 2 bedrooms and a futon on the upstairs floor with a washroom and full kitchen as well as the ground level which is a completely private studio with a queen bed and it`s own washroom & kitchen for a total group size of up to 8 people. The house has a private upper balcony and lower garden patio and outdoor as well as indoor showers. The ocean is steps in front of the house with a private beach that is part of our property.
Enjoy the picturesque waves. Drop a fishing line in from shore or eat baja fish tacos in the nearest town of Pescadero. Grab your board and surf, or rent one from just down the beach! Have a picnic, watch the ocean life jumping and play in the water in front of you. After sunset, enjoy the bright moon and starry sky. There are ATV rentals, horseback riding and hiking all within a 5 km / 3 mile radius. We are conveniently located 15 minutes away from the charming artisan town of Todos Santos and 45 minutes away to Cabo’s night-life.

Great palapa apartment right on the beach. Quiet and secluded. Fred was a great host and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great space for family vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house. Fred was very helpful and had great communication and tips for us. The house was nice and simple and just had the basics, which was all we needed.

Great location!

Great spot for remote beach walking, whale watching, birding and green flash sunsets. Comfortable accommodations with basic necessity’s. A couple of dining options within walking distance. Good place to unwind and relax.

Loved it

We had an amazing time at Fred’s. Lots of dogs to pet, Fred had recommendations for everything, beach front that was super isolated or you could walk down to the more happening beach if you wanted a little more action. Highly recommend.

Great family vacation

My parter, and 13yo son enjoyed a week at Fred’s place. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach right out front. The beach was quiet. We had fun looking for shells, especially if you walk south from the house. Cerritos and Todos Santos are a short drive away and had everything we needed. The surf lessons at Cerritos was perfect for my son. We loved our stay!

Stunning beach location

Beach was stunning. Fell asleep to crashing waves at night. Busier beach about 30 min walk down the beach, but much preferred our location. Felt completely at peace. Hosts were friendly and laid back. Would absolutely return.

Cerritos beach getaway

Very nice house (second story) and location for Cerritos and Todos Santos. Perfect for us 4, but more people can fit in easily. Hosts were great and very friendly. About 15 min walk along the beach to the north point. Short drive over to Cerritos parking area (100 pesos) to carry our stuff. Very convenient. Had great time!

Sunsets Galore

What a great place to spend time with the family. The view from the balcony was incredible, spectacular sunsets, and OMG the whales were right off the surf line. Clean, spacious, and well appointed. Miles of clean, unpopulated, sandy beaches, without being remote. Ten minute drive to groceries, restaurants, and a surfing beach. Fred and Lucienne were so easy to deal with, friendly and helpful. Loved our time there, we'll be back.

Ocean Front

My family and I stayed at both properties that Fred owns. They were clean and comfortable. The beach views are great and it is so nice to have your own beach front to enjoy each day. We were even able to see whales and dolphins during our stay. He has lots of stuff for you to use and relax on. A couple of hammocks, lounging chairs, shade, and even a bed out there on the sand in front of his property. If you like to hear the ocean while you sleep, this is the place. It was almost too loud at night for me! It was nice to be able to spend our whole vacation here and not really have to leave at all. It is a convenient location to todos santos and los cabos. We had a nice vacation overall.

This place sucked, didn’t have any air conditioning, no swimming pool the furniture was in bad shape, had all kinds of insects, cabinets weren’t even finished, and the price is way over priced for its condition, the hospitality sucked, the owner didn’t even check to see if we were ok or if we needed anything

Relaxing

Great location on the beach. We did experience mosquitoes, evidence of mice, and tiny iguanas in the house, but those were expected with the location near the water and our having the door open most of the time to enjoy the ocean breezes. Having Netflix was nice. The master bed was very comfortable.

Fantastic stay outside of Cabo

I came here with girlfriends from highschool for a quite, chill get away and this location was perfect. Great space, lovely host, and wonderfully quiet. We had a private cabana on a gorgeous beach, hammock, lounge chairs...and the apartment was spacious and perfect for the three of us. I loved that it was in a chill environment and near Cerritos Beach - a cute, upcoming quiet town on the beach. Everyone I met was wonderful and I'd love to visit again.

Great location on the beach

Casa Gaia is a spacious apartment on a large lot that holds the owner's home and two other rental spaces. This particular apartment is a second floor space with a nice balcony. It's at the back of the property so the view of the ocean is not interrupted but also not quite as close to the beach as the photos give the impression. We liked the apartment and it was clean enough when we arrived. The location on the beach is really wonderful and there are some cabanas on the beach that we could use- although those looked they the sheets in the cabanas had never been washed. The main issue is that the amenities in the apartment were akin to a college-aged person's first apartment. A rusty can opener, a single small steak knife was the only sharp knife, a mostly broken water pump for the purified water were typical in this kitchen. The owner could make the space a lot nicer for guests if he spent just a little bit of money on making sure quests have some useable kitchen equipment. We had a really nice time and enjoyed the quiet end of Cerritos Beach. It was about a 30 minute walk to the surf break and the more populated part of Cerritos.

Living on the beach!

Our family of four stayed a couple of nights at Casa Gaia and loved the easy informality of the property, as well as the quick access to the quieter southern side of Cerritos beach. Our first impressions of the Casa (upstairs unit, above Studio Gaia) was the spacious layout and wonderful views from the deck. The kitchen, dining area, living area and bedrooms were all generously sized, with very comfortable king beds in both rooms. The kitchen was well equipped and the appliances in good condition. In my opinion though, the best part of Casa Gaia was the beach living - we felt far removed from the bustle of northern Cerritos, but could easily stroll there if desired. The host has thoughtfully supplied hamacas, recliners and sheltered daybeds (great for windier days) on the beach zone just outside the compound...all you need to bring is your towel. We would love to return to Casa Gaia in future!

Beautiful Ocean Front Oasis

Great property right on the beach. Spacious apartment perfect for a family with a responsive and friendly host. Fred made it easy. Away from the rush of Cabo, on the best local beach for swimming and surfing. A short drive to Todos Santos.

If the beach is your priority

What a wonderful spot on the beach in cerritos. We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The cabanas and beach are literally right out the front gate. The property was clean and the location is amazing. Rental car is a must

Close to the water!

I had a great stay here with friends and family. We came down for a warm surf trip and Fred’s spot is right up on the beach! The week we went there wasn’t any swell, but his spot was perfect and relaxing. The living space was extremely comfortable with tons of seating for Lounging and relaxing. We will definitely come back when we can plan the surf better! It’s tucked away and remote, just what we were looking for. We also rented the downstairs apt which was nice to have the entire house to ourselves.

I am a retired Canadian living the dream on a beach I've been coming to for over 20 years. Originally from east coast, I moved west in late 70s. I've traveled to over 60 countries and have been riding motorcycles all my life. More into off-road in Baja, I still love a good road trip. I've owned an RV for over 20 years now and that's how I found Los Cerritos in the late 80s. I love the sunshine and the great climate we have at Los Cerritos, year round. With the Sierra Laguna mountains behind me and the Pacific ocean in front of me, I realize it's a slice of paradise. Watching whales November thru March from my deck is amazing, and the stars at night are heavenly.

This is my slice of paradise. I've turned this dream into a reality in the last 5 years. Heavenly skies, tranquil location, ocean in front and mountains behind. People are very friendly in this area, and if you simply want to kick back and enjoy the tranquility, you've found the best option right here. Safe & secure, free from noise and hustle-bustle, this is a gorgeous getaway vacation home. Make some memories in your very own slice of paradise. There is a convenience store across the road and a delicious locally owned restaurant next door from it that prepares authentic cuisine.

This property was built with the planet in mind and is entirely off-the-grid. All power is solar and all fresh water is trucked in, which makes it a unique and valuable experience without giving up many of the luxuries of a resort.
Our property features hot water on-demand, private beach access, & high-speed internet. For any further questions please ask myself or my housekeeper and we'll be happy to help.
As well, since I am familiar with the surrounding area and businesses I will be more than happy to help suggest or arrange guided tours and other activities based on availability and the season.
