We needed to get away from the melee that is 4th of July in our neighborhood for our dogs sake and this was the perfect sanctuary! It was equipped with everything we needed (including spices!) and provided many different lounging spots to move around as the sun moves thru the day too. Beds were comfortable and there was any amenity we needed when we thought "I wish I had a ...." Thank you for sharing your space with us and our corgis! We will definitely be coming again!

Very nice and cozy cabin

We rented this cabin for New Years and had a great time. It has everything you need. The property is clean and everything works. The host was a pleasure to deal with and very available. Instructions were very clear and I didn't need to reach out to the host for anything other than to say "Thank you!". The neighborhood is really nice and quiet. Sugarloaf is not far from the city and the slopes but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice relaxing get away with pretty much everything you would want to support that relaxing getaway!

Mountain vista review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overalll 3 stars, was out of the way in big bear, got to enjoy some snow with the kiddos. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was not clean, pans and utensils were dirty. Looks like it was stocked from a thrift store. General inexpensive fair condition place to stay. FYI if it’s icy,the driveway is steep and hard to get in. Dry roads would Be fine, but no alternate parking if you can’t get in. Limited bedding, bring extra blankets with yoy to snuggle up. Fire place was nice and the spa was hot.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not family friendly. Water comes out of sinks and shower scalding hot. Huge safety issue— luckily we didn’t have any injuries. Oven door and stovetop range get super hot while in use. We had to keep 4 toddlers out of the kitchen while oven was in use. This wasn’t an easy feat as the house isn’t that big to begin with. We paid almost 2500$ to stay here for 3 nights.. you would think appliances were up to code?! Really disappointing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was clean, cozy, spacious I was having trouble with the Jacuzzi but the staff was helpful and they solved the problem right away just one little thing, the parking is very stiff so in winter season it becomes an issue with snow, but other than that everything was just excellent 😀

Everything was super cool except the parking because with the snow was hard to get the vehicle up hill even with the chains so we let the cars across the street but other than that we all have a great time

President's day weekend stay

My family and I stayed here President's day weekend. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood just outside of Big Bear Lake. It's about 5 min drive to town and grocery stores. There's a small general store down the road if you don't want to drive to town. The cabin has a nice cozy feel to it. The hot tub was heated and ready for us to go in. We were able to turn on the jets but couldn't figure out how to change temp and turn on lights. There was HBO max and universal channels

Relaxing Family Getaway

Overall we had a pleasant trip. The house appears exactly as it does in the photos. Very clean. Decorated very tastefully. Right balance of mountain cabin feel and modern tech upgrades. There was a hiccup with the hot tub, but Megan fairly resolved the issue. We were worried about the house being hot when we went, but there were portable fans in all the bedrooms. So that was a nice surprise.

Cabin stay

My kids, sister and my boyfriend stayed her August 2020. The house good space, clean, stocked, and appeared exactly how the pictures showed. Our highlight was the jacuzzi and the swing out front. Very spacious outside. My only complaint was the parking. Make sure you have a 4wheel drive or strong engine getting up the driveway. Thanks for the stay.

Good Family House

The house suited our family well - my wife and I, our daughter and son-in-law, and two grandsons. I really enjoyed the deck, and the kids loved the hot tub. Two drawbacks: All 3 bedrooms are upstairs, but only one bathroom. It was in the 80’s while we were there, and the bedrooms got very hot!

Great place. Had alot of fun.

Had a great time. The house was immaculate. FYI, the spa lid was hard to lift and the coffee pot doesn't work any longer. Bring wood. The fireplace had a gas hook up, but you'll need the wood to burn.

Loved it!

There was enough beds for everyone. The living room was spacious & the Jacuzzi was a plus! Central heating, washer and dryer came in handy. Bathroom doors were a little tricky but overall i definitely would recommend staying here to anyone, even myself again!
