Beautiful, secluded log cabin with all the amenities. Screened porches, large private deck, and views that are simply amazing. Bring the entire family and start a new tradition. Sit on your deck overlooking the lake or walk down to the water and swing right in front of the water. Large fire pit and hammocks make for a great ending to the perfect day.

Best ever!

This is the best house we have ever rented! There isn’t one thing about it I would change. We most definitely be staying there again!

Perfect place!

Overall we absolutely loved his place! It is a hike to and from the water but the built in walkway is very nice. I would recommend water shoes because the rocks get hot and slippery. We can’t wait to go back.

Family Reunion / 80th Birthday Bash

Was the perfect place for our family reunion! Enough room, enough beds, the daylight basement was a great kids hangout and bedroom. Perfect place to swim during the day and the great room was big enough for us all to hang out to eat together, play games etc. We will be back.

Very beautiful, very peaceful, very affordable. Beautiful cabin with a panoramic view of the lake. Good fishing off of the deck, even got a regular visit from a friendly otter every evening while fishing. I would recommend this cabin for anyone desiring to just get away. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everyone.

Good experience, great view, lots of amenities. The one suggestion I would have is to have a place to pull your boat. We had to leave our boat at a friends house because the road was too narrow to get up and down to the cabin. So if we had a place to pull it up on the water, that would’ve been 100% perfect. Thank you!

Beautiful property inside and out!

We had an amazing time! This place feels tucked away from the world but is actually close to the grocery store, restaurants etc. The "cabin" as we've been calling it is beautifully decorated and comfortable and has great spaces for adults and children! The downstairs is a kids' dream spot. We had 6 girls and they couldn't have had more fun! We'll be back! Thank you!

Perfect!!!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house and yard. The incredible leveled deck leading down to a private rocky beach was very impressive. We didn't expect to use the kayaks and paddle board in April but because of the unusually warm weather, the family spent all day playing in this quiet arm of the lake. The scenery was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the screened porch while listening to birds. Plenty of space inside and out, to play games and visit. Having 2 refrigerators was a big plus! We hope to go back someday!

Great weekend retreat for a relaxing weekend for a group of couples whe meet annually !

This was the perfect spot for an annual get-to-gather of our four couples retreat. The owners have thought of all details . We have rented several homes through the years for our gathering but we all agreed this was the best we’ll -stocked home with everything you could need . There was something for all of us to enjoy . The multiple living areas plus porches and several deck areas gave us opportunity for togetherness or solicitude . The fire pit was especially a hit for the guys while we girls lov d getting out on the lake in the paddle boat ! Hope to be back next year . We think we’ve found our “ perfect spot”!

VRBO listed the propery miles to Mountain View wrong

We love the house it had a beautiful view of the lake. The screen porches were so relaxing, with lake and fall colors all around. The house had a nice floor plan with large open main area for several people. The only problem we had was the distance between house and Mountain View Arkansas; it was listed wrong on the rental wed site. it was 13.6 miles farther than advertised.

Beautiful views

The house was great for our annual family vacation. There is plenty of room to spread out and the downstairs is great for kids. The porch is AMAZING with beautiful views. Beds were comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, two refrigerators is great, plenty of seating, and there was plenty of hot water. Communication with owner was quick and easy. Our family took a swim mat and floats and enjoyed swimming. There were extra floats provided by owner. We knew from the pictures that there were a lot of stairs down to the water. The rocks from the bottom of the stairs to the water are quite tricky to navigate even with appropriate shoes. We had planned on kayaking (house has a kayak) but decided it was just too hard to get the kayak in and out of the water with the rocks. There was good bit of boat traffic but the water is plenty wide enough for it not to be an issue at all.

Great except for deposit process

Nice place. Had a couple of issues but were to be expected since we were the first stay for awhile due to Covid. The only issue that hasn't been handled well is the refund for the deposit. When we booked in April as Covid shutdown was ending, it was a 2 week process to get deposit back. That alone is too long but I'm now being told it could be 4-5 weeks. I hoped my concern over this issue would be addressed but so far nothing. I will update later as to how it was ultimately resolved.

Enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The view was amazing. Our entire family enjoyed cooking out and spending time together here. We were able to fish and get some first catches for our young children right in the backyard!

Paradise in Arkansas

Legitimately perfect, it was everything we hoped for. Located in a beautiful area overlooking a lake (which you can kayak on), this cabin is perfect for all ages, they even have swimming life vests for children available. 10/10, just watch out for bugs outside!

Perfect place for 100 percent family time!

Very very remote. 2 miles on a gravel Road to the cabin that sits perfectly on Beautiful river water . The water level was a bit low, but my crew came equipped with Keen’s shoes and walking over big rocks were not a problem to enter into the water Yes, the stairs are a hike but safe to walk on down to the water. Only boat traffic occasionally… so quiet ! My family ate every meal at the cabin. The Kitchen was well stocked to assist with our menus. We discovered Collins Creek and a near by “ sandy beach” for family fun. Heber Springs was a surprise how unique it was. The cabin is very large .. lots of beds and the screen porch was perfect …. Enjoyed my stay immensely!

Stunning home

This house is sbsolutely beautiful. The views are awesome and because it is quiet, it us serene. We could've stayed on that deck or dock 24/7!! Beds are so comfortable and there was more than plenty of room for our group. Only downfall is the road getting to it...it's one lane and very narrow in spots so plan accordingly if you're pulling a boat. We were there for a fishing tournament and ended up making other arrangements for our boats and all worked out well. Owners are great and very responsive to communication. Will definitely book again....for a longer period of time, because the weekend just wasn't enough!

Location is very good, cabin is nicely arranged and decorated. Deck is awesome. Kayaking was a very good experience. Enough space to accommodate 15-16 people.

October 2021 Stay

Very nice and very large kitchen/family room! Extra nice screened in porch and deck! Very hard to get to, you have to travel down a very narrow/winding one lane road about a mile to get the remote location, hopefully you do not meet a car going, we never met a car during the entire trip; 5 days. However; it is an absolutely beautiful setting once you get there. You DO NOT want to find this place for the first time in the dark. Master suite is very nice. Room for alot of people.

Wonderful vacation!

Great cabin. Beautiful views. Lots of stairs, yes, but so nice to have direct access to the water. Owner was so helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Only thing would be really nice: to have a dock or pole right in front of property to be able to tie a boat off. Very rocky, but we knew that. Quickly adjusted to it. But careful footing was always a must. Overall.....Wonderful. Thank you Steve.

Family vacation July 4th 2021

Beautiful cabin! We had a wonderful time, and we all loved the cabin. There was 13 of us and we all had plenty of room to move around . So many sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. My favorite was the screened deck area so cool in the morning with the ceiling fans, enjoying your morning coffee listening to the birds chirping. I also loved that the screen doors had locks for the little ones to stay on the porch. Just a idea maybe to put a gate at the front of the stairs from little ones trying to go down the stairs to the lake. There are quite a few stairs to get down to the lake so if you have little ones be alert. The road to the cabin is narrow but wasn't ever any traffic for the most part so we were good. We will return for sure.

We have 6 children and enjoy the outdoors and water activities. After vacationing in several different areas, we decided we wanted to have more time to spend at the lake. Being able to relax around a campfire at night after a full day of jumping off the cliffs or riding on a tube allows our children to create great memories. That is what we want for our family.
