Over the Rainbow is a charming cabin that is situated perfectly on the Little Red River with a private dock. When you walk inside you will immediately be greeted with that rustic fishing cabin feel. The home features a queen bed downstairs and a full bed in the loft. Its sister cabin, Magic Mist, is also available for rent and is located right next door (sleeps 4).

The Location: Over the Rainbow is just three miles from Lobo Landing Marina and a 10 minute drive from downtown Heber Springs where you will find restaurants, shopping, movie theater, and more!

Overall great place - quiet and relaxing. Outside the property needs a little tlc but it is things that can be quickly and easily taken care of. Fantastic back porch for early morning coffee.

This place is amazing little tiny cabin. Good view of the river. Nice and clean. Everything you need is there. Just take yourself and food. You are good to go. Will be back!

The communication was fantastic and check in could not have been easier. This cabin is adorable, clean, comfortable and cozy. The river is gorgeous, quiet and serene. There are other homes near by but we still felt like we had plenty of privacy. We can't wait to visit again.

The only downside was the slope of the ramp to the small dock was way too steep! Too difficult to navigate if you wanted to carry anything down.

Perfect place!

Melanie with Arkansas vacation rentals went above and beyond to ensure that the stay was booked and ready for the 2 week stay! We can not say enough about how thankful we were for direct and easy communication! The place was Perfect! Clean! Comfortable! Beautiful view! Super peaceful. The beds were comfortable! Perfect little place for any stay!

Our anniversary stay at this rustic cabin in Heber Springs was exactly what we were hoping for. The experience started off strong because the check in process required no talking to anyone. We simply confirmed our arrival through text and received the access code and all the important details by email. Everything was smooth and effortless. The cabin itself was truly rustic and charming. It was quiet in the most perfect way. The surrounding area had very little activity and that created a peaceful atmosphere that we really appreciated. I loved having my morning coffee on the nearly fully wrapped around porch and took advantage of the grill several times. We also spent time down on the dock along the Little Red River watching boats go by and listening to the wildlife. There are several nice restaurants close by and I even found a few great places to look for antiques. The entire trip was incredibly relaxing and we ended up adding an extra day because we enjoyed it so much and the cabin was still available. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful, no stress getaway.

My wife and I really enjoyed our six nights stay at Over the Rainbow cabin. It was enjoyable to sit out on the patio watching the river by and the occasional fishing boat.We were glad we were able to cook our own breakfast in the morning, although our lunch was usually leftovers from the restaurants that we would eat at in the evenings. We enjoyed eating at Verona Italian restaurant, Zeke and Lizzie’s, and of course, Macks Seafood and Steak restaurant. The only thing I can think of that might improve the place. Some is it needs a new recliner, as the vinyl one there is getting pretty raggedy. There are also a few electrical outlets by the bed that were not working, and in a few places on the floor, there were nails sticking up a little bit. Other than that, we really enjoyed it and we’ll probably be back.

Good Times are Always Over The Rainbow

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been a while since we’ve rented one of our favorite places to stay. Loved absolutely everything about it. Brought my boat up this time with me and had best fishing ever on very quiet place on the river. Took about an hour to navigate the extreme low water and had to drag boat over a few low shoals because I put in at lowest flow (my bad). Great fishing. Went to butcher shop and snagged best steaks and had a first class cooker located on the deck. Bed was magically comfortable and was able to soak my tired body in a fabulous jetted tub. Internet and TV worked wonderfully. My wife like to sit on expansive deck while I fished. Loved the overall improvements that have been made. I hope this place isn’t booked next time we’re ready to go. Pack light - cabin has everything. It’s romantic. It’s great location. It’s actually one of the nicest places on the river located in one of the best fishing location. At the end - we hauled out the trash, clicked our heels three times and in 1.5 hours we were back home in Kansas - oops - Benton. Thanks for the fantasy fish & romantic place to renew our passions.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were several things that need repairs at the rental. Toilet paper holder falls off wall. Some lights on the back deck do not work. Internet was spotty at best. Jacuzzi tub in bathroom did not work. Coffee pot leaked water and the creamer was old and and could make someone sick. There was also a broken window that had not been replaced. I have been staying here for years and the toilet paper holder has been broken for years along with the lights on the porch and the tub used to work. I just do not understand why you purchase a place and do not do the upkeep for your guests. As a plus they did get a new black stone grill. I will always come back because I love the place but I have a few suggestions. Blinds on the top windows so you do not have to wake up with the sun and a King size bed.
