Nestled in a beautiful country estate is Miserden Park Flat, a Cotswold holiday apartment which sleeps two guests, in a spacious bedroom, with a family bathroom. Part of a Jacobean country house, this Grade II* listed second floor apartment has been sympathetically decorated and has high ceilings and large windows framing the impressive views across the grounds, making this the perfect abode for a romantic retreat. With formal gardens, lawns and an arboretum to explore, it is a truly immersive experience in nature and a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Accommodation
This second floor one bedroom holiday apartment on the Miserden Estate is perfectly suited for a romantic getaway in the countryside. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

The front door opens into the entrance hall, from which stairs lead up to the second floor

Two-seater sofa, Freeview TV, coffee table and electric fire

Open plan kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, cafetiere, kettle, toaster and fridge

The country house sits within 10.5 acres of formal gardens, featuring lawns, walled gardens and an arboretum. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds during official opening times only

The maximum occupancy for this property is 2 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under). Please take consideration whilst booking as the layout, furnishings, and features of Butchers Flat are best suited to adult guests (some features could pose safety risks for infants and very young children)

Highly recommended

A fantastic place to stay, beautiful position, gardens and village. Spacious and comfortable rooms, brilliant kitchen. Only improvement would be a washing machine. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely stop

Lovely cottage in a lovely position. Clean and in great condition. We had a very comfy stay and would definitely come again. The gardens are wonderful, simply wonderful. We arrived after the journey from hell, it would have been helpful if the flat was clearly marked “Flat C” as we spent an age trying to find it. What three words really helped. Although not part of the flat or gardens we had a poor meal at the Carpenters Arms, second night drove into Cheltenham.

Lovely flat to explore the Cotswolds

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat has everything you need. We did have a problem with hot water (for the bath tub) so that was a bit disappointing but other then that is was perfect. We especially were pleased with the bed; great mattress. We visited mid March so I do not know how crowded the town gets in summer but for now it was just perfect.

An absolutely beautiful place and we will definately be back.

WOW! Miserden Hall Flat was amazing. A truly beautiful place for a relaxing and peaceful weekend away. Everything about it was perfect.The flat, the village, the hall, the grounds, the village pub and the Cotswolds were all just perfect for our stay and we will definately be back. We have already recommended this place to our family and friends and can’t believe how well priced it was. Thank you for a truly amazing stay.

Magical Place

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay here. It was towards the end of the garden season, mid September, so it was quiet and peaceful. The property and garden was still exploding with color. We will definitely be visiting again.

Gorgeous stay at Miserden

I felt very priveleged to stay in the lovely spacious clean & nicely furnished flat within the Miserden Estate. The grounds are just beautiful and were carpeted in snowdrops aconites & crocuses. There was a stunning luminescent lake. The estate was in easy reaching distance of Painswick, North Cerney & Colesbourne Gardens all reknown for their snowdrop displays. Close to Cirencester too. I would highly recommend the accomodation. Also Stay Cotswold did a great job of sending detailed maps & entry material way in advance. I would love to stay here again.

A Great Retreat

February is hardly he nicest month fora break, but I'd recommend this any day. In between those showers, the estate had beautiful walks with nature being so restorative. there were snowdrops everywhere and a real sense of calm. And inside - when those showers couldn't be avoided - a generous flat with a sense of dignity and comfort to meet your every need. I was on my own, and I found the accommodation to be exactly what I needed for a restorative 'almost spring but not quite out of winter' break.

Amazing place

Excellent flat, very luxurious, great place to stay. The grounds are beautiful and I would imagine in the summer even better. Thoroughly recommended as long as you are happy with a few stairs as the flat is first floor.

Wonderful place to spend a few days

Beautiful property with access to an amazing garden, also when it is closed to the public. Miserden is an attractive unspoilt village located near other interesting Cotswold places to visit.

Lovely stay at Miserden

We enjoyed a lovely stay in the Miserden Park flat. Wonderful quiet location, with access to the beautiful grounds and local walks; we visited in October and enjoyed the beautiful Autumn colours. Enjoyed a folk music evening and meal at the village pub. The property is full of character and comfortable (though it would benefit from the addition of an armchair in the lounge, which just has one 2-seater settee). We would visit again, and recommend to others. Thank you.

Lovely Easter stay

Spacious, clean, quiet, well equipped with good management in a historical building- excellent value for money. Had some issues initially with heating and hate access, but was sorted quickly. No complaints from us.

Birthday treat from hubby.

We had a wonderful stay at Miserden Flat. It was very spacious, cosy. Lovely place to get away for peace & tranquility. The only downside was the tv we just couldn't get it to work, think it should be updated with a better system. We enjoyed all our walks, loved the coffee place on the estate before you enter the garden. We enjoyed the tour of the beautiful gardens so pretty & look amazing!!

Miserden

Wonderful flat, we stayed in November and it was warm and cosy. The estate is still fabulous at this time of year with lovely walks from the village. Would definitely stay again.

Escape & unwind

Lovely short break in a totally tranquil location . Comfortable flat adjacent to Miserden house . Wonderful garden to explore. Enjoyable sculpture exhibition coincided. Village pub disappointing. Miserden Garden cafe- ginger? was super helpful & tasty food too.

A lovely Cotswold flat

A lovely flat, very well furnished with everything you could want for a short break. It's a little off the beaten track and would have been better if we had gone in the summer rather than the cold dark November. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and there was a welcoming pack of biscuits and flowers awaiting us. Will visit again.

Stunning location

A spacious well equipped flat in a wonderful setting. The flat being in the grounds of Miserden Park was fabulous, we could stroll around, relax & enjoy them without having to get in a car. There were also suggested walks, with handy maps, that were literally on the doorstep. There’s also a sculpture exhibition to enjoy in the grounds which is on until 18 August - well worth a visit
