The home features four decks, two family rooms, 85, 65, 42 and 32 inch flat screen TV, huge screened-in porch, and two community swimming pools. Pool across the street opens in late June. Great house for multiple families. Updated flooring in 2024 season!

Short walk to beach and Boardwalk

Convenient walking distance to the beach - five blocks to the sand and boardwalk, three blocks to downtown. Additionally, a community shuttle is 3 houses away from the house. Family friendly accommodations with two master suites fully equipped with cable TV, wireless internet, gas grill, coffee maker, kids games, and much more.

The recreation fee for using the community amenities is $30 per person per week or $10 per person per day (subject to change by community)

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
* $500 Security Deposit (Refundable).
* 50% of rental fee due upon reservation, 50% due 60 days prior to rental.
* Sleeps 16: Two kings, two queens, four twins, and two queens (pull-outs in loft).
* No Pets Allowed.
* linens/bath towels are not provided however will provide several local providers.

We comfortably fit 2 families and had a great stay. It is walking distance to beach and Bethany boardwalk however if you have kids you’ll want to drive. Great large kitchen, spacious bedrooms, on suite bathrooms. Great stay. We’ll be happy to return next year!

A wonderful weekend at the beach

We stayed in the house for a long Memorial Day Weekend. The house worked out great for our three families. Plenty of room. We loved the large screened in porch. We ate most of our meals out there as plenty of seating for all of us (10 people). Great location. Right across the street from the pool, tot lot, basketball court, etc. It was a short walk to the town of Bethany. The house was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Family vacation

The property is beautiful and the pictures do not show the full value of the house itself. The community is a neighborhood of full time residents that seem to live there full time and are extremely friendly and happy to help with directions around the community. The park, basketball and tennis courts are conveniently diagonally across street which was super awesome for our kids that could venture on their own a little but not go too far from home. The pool closest to the house was not open all week although it was advertised in the listing as being available. The pool doesn’t open until Father’s Day weekend. The other pool is a good 20 minute walk and is nice however, is only open 10-6. All around the house and amenities are nice however, before renting be sure to ask if all the amenities you want to use will be available.

One and Done

Nice screened in porch and front porch, walkable to the boardwalk without any beach gear. Pool across the street but true hours are actually 1130-6, as they have swim lessons for first 90 min. Cons-dirty, filthy house! Overall, his cleaning crew needs fired...if there even is one. Fingerprints all over kitchen appliances, counters cluttered with old popcorn buckets. We found 2 bags of open fritos under one of the bathroom cabinets. Handrail going up the stairs is black and sticky. Drawers with crumbs, brown sugar that expired in 2020. Kitchen is far from "fully stocked", bedspreads had a necklace from previous renters, so we removed it and the mattress pad underneath had blood stains on it. Stained carpets everywhere. Most concerning was that when I contacted the owner to ask what needed documented to avoid charges and to tell him that a closet door fell on my sister's shoulder and luckily not on a child's head, he replied "so sorry, meant to tell you about that and the glass fan globe in the main living room is loose and may fall, so don't put the fan on high". I think safety issues with children involved should have been communicated immediately, not a "so sorry". Won't stay again. Some bedrooms don't have lightbulbs working, some don't even have a lamp. Closets don't have hangers. Fans and vents caked with the thick, black dust so they have yet to be cleaned at all this season. Price is fair for what is offered, but owner doesn't care about your experience here.

Jamie, This season’s house cleaner will NOT be returning for another based on your review. We do appreciate your feedback. However, we would have loved to have been given the opportunity by you to address it when you arrived. We would have certainly had someone come back to clean the house to your satisfaction. Our neigborhood Bethany West does offer swim lessons for a nominal fee in one of the two community pools. It is a wonderful convenience that many of our guest have taken advantage of over the years. With regard to safety concerns, as was previously communicated the day you arrived, both the closet and the light fixture were scheduled for repair. The closet door is back on the track and the light fixture was confirmed to be secured and did not need repaired. I mentioned it to you only as a precaution. Our guests safety and overall experience in our vacation home is of the upmost importance to us. It saddens us that you did feel that way.

Great house!

This house is huge and the pics don’t even do it justice! It’s all kept in great condition. The front porch and back screen porch are amazing hangout areas for large family time. You def need bikes to get around, not close enough for walking, the blocks are very very long. The area is so nice we loved the rides and all the pretty houses. Only trick is dealing w beach chairs - the rental svc chairs are way too heavy, highly suggest backpack style chairs. Loved having the pool option and play courts right across the street. All around a great house!

Perfect house for our family

We have 3 grown children with young families of their own. We loved the fact that each family had a bathroom and ample beds. The kitchen was nice and large, as was the porch. We ate, chatted, and played games on the screened in deck. Just loved this property!!

Family vacation

We were very impressed with the property. We rent in Bethany Beach or Ocean View every year. With two families combined, our needs list is long and somewhat unrealistic. This checked almost every box. Positives: two master suites, HUGE screened porch, 4 additional bedrooms with Jack-and-jill bathrooms, awesome kitchen and the additional full size “beverage” fridge. Cons: due to COVID-19, the close pool was closed and the other one is too far away.

Love the house

Our family really enjoyed this beautiful house. Very spacious first floor with a fabulous rear screened in porch where we spent most meals and evening game playing and socializing. Second floor accommodated two sets of families. Safe three block walk to downtown Bethany shopping and only an additional two blocks to the beach. Owners had a fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators and wine fridge along with many other amenities. We would definitely rent this house again. Only reason not rated five stars is that there are some maintenance opportunities such as the gas grill and bicycles. Would rate four and a half stars if rating scale allowed.
