CASA PUÑOL is a renovated holiday rental home for 12 guests, which has been rebuilt so that it now appears as a beautiful house, which has nicely integrated the modern with the traditional Catalan farmhouse. An absolute good choice of a holiday home for the 'discerning' guest who wants the very best!

The country house CASA PUÑOL is from the early twentieth century. In spring 2012 it was finished as a thoroughly renovated and super modern house in unique surroundings. Today the house has a Scandinavian touch, with the large glass windows at the beautiful scenery. On the lower floor of the beautiful house is a large terrace with direct access from the living room and large modern open kitchen. The terrace also has a view to CASA PUÑOLs spa, which also has wall to wall windows, facing the impressive landscape.

The second floor also has a large terrace, where all 4 bedrooms on the floor floor have direct access to. The house swimming pool area is something else. It must be the very best, to enjoy a holiday around the pool with friends or family in such unique surroundings. The pool is triangular and a mechanism allows the wate rto constantly moving down over the edges. The pool's edges will be fenced with a discreet fence. By the pool you will find loungers for everyone, as well as a little covered area and a large wooden terrace.

The garden has a small playing field, basketball and in a small building to the right of the house is built a large BBQ area with patio, outdoor kitchen and table tennis. The house has 6 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. All rooms of CASA PUÑOL are held in the modern style - they are beautiful and bright and spacious.


Enjoy nature in the surrounding forests, meadows and natural areas and use a day to explore one or more of the nearby hiking trails that will give you the opportunity to experience nature in its purest form.

The town Gironella is located 10 Km. from the house and the regional capital Berga is located 20 Km. from Casa Puñol. Visit some of the fine villages in the region eg.Rupit, built on a slope. The city Barcelona is located 100 km. from the house and you can also visit the Costa Brava, the beautiful city of Girona or spend a day in the Pyrenees with white-water rafting or other daring outdoor activities. It can also be recommended to visit the city of Vic, which has Catalonia largest market on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the year (morning).

OUR HISTORY:
Lisbeth and I (Bertel) are the owners of the company SYDENS FERIEHUSE. For the last 14 years we have engaged in letting out fantastic Catalan holiday homes, all of which live up to our criterias: they are authentic, charming homes and are all of a very high standard. We help Jaume and Rosa let out CASA PUÑOL.

We consider the perfect holiday to consist of two parts - a nice holiday home and some great excursions and activities. For each part of Catalonia we have made an activity document with our personal recommendations. As we consider ourselves to be experts in Catalonia, you are of course always welcome to ask for help and advice. We aim to find the perfect holiday home for you :-)
