Welcoming and bright apartment at the gates of the historic centre of Ostuni, perfect for discovering the city on foot and all the surrounding towns.



The structure consists of two separate apartments. From one of the two entrances, descending a few steps, you reach the first one. This is effectively a studio flat with a double sofa bed, a dining table, a small kitchenette for quick meals, and a bathroom with shower. From the other entrance instead, via a staircase, you reach the second apartment which is spread over two levels. On the first level there is the living room with a double sofa bed, a dining table with a kitchen equipped with all comforts, and a further bathroom with shower. Climbing a white stone staircase, you reach the alcove where the master bedroom is located, which boasts access to the panoramic terrace with views over the city rooftops.

Ostuni, known throughout the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Valle d'Itria. Its historic centre, of a blinding white, immense, culminates with the Cathedral (600 metres from the apartment) which imperiously dominates the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a clear and crystalline sea. Characteristic are its alleyways, Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of S. Oronzo which majestically protects the town.

Its countryside extends into the heart of the Valle d'Itria. A few kilometres away is Ceglie Messapica, a centre of tradition and food and wine culture, Cisternino, a village recognised amongst the most beautiful in Italy, Alberobello whose famous trulli have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnazia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with evocative historic centres and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the Orient, whilst heading south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, capital of the Baroque. Moving westwards there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia and finally Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.



Brindisi airport is 35 minutes by car away, whilst Bari international airport is 100 km away.
