Our host Anna was very communicative throughout our trip. CasaMar is in a fantastic location, although parking during the day can be tight as it is located on a dead end road that is used by a lot of people for parking.However, being a quick 8 minute walk from the Malacon and the beach was amazing. One thing to note is that if you are not ok with the LGBTQ community do not stay in Zona Romantica as it is heavily geared this way. Everyone we talked with and interacted with was super friendly and we would definetly recommand and return to this location.

This place could not have been more centrally located if you're looking for Zona Romantica. My friends and I enjoyed the layout and how communicative the host was. We would definitely stay again!

Week Long Stay

The place was perfect. Great location to everything we needed. Ana, the owner, communication was instant. housekeeping was amazing. I highly recommended if you won't something central in PV for a long stay this is the ideal place for a group.

Great Location

This was my group of five second time staying at this location. The location is Central to a lot a local restaurants and local Street vendors. Some of the best breakfast places in town is blocks away. It is a very short walk to the beach and centrally located to a lot of the nightlife. There is a kitchen on the rooftop make it very fun to pregame before going out or having coffee in the morning.Ana, is quick to respond to messages and the housekeeper comes every 3 days making it super convenient.

Look Closely

Upside, early check in and location is close to many attractions. Cute and has potential. Downside, very dirty I don’t think the floors have been mopped in weeks. In one of the beds our son in law got into bed and there was sand on the sheets by his feet so he was on unwashed sheets. No hot water in the shower that’s on the third level. No soap in soap dispensers. No potable drinking water so we went and bought our own. The listing says air conditioning but it is only in one of the bedrooms. The beds were hard as rocks. Don’t take the sheets off to look at the mattress unless you have a strong stomach. The alley where the home is located is a little sketchy. We saw two young men urinating on trees by the property and one person sleeping on the sidewalk. It is noisy at night as it is on a bus line stop. Just be aware that it is not as nice as it looks in the pics.

Thank you for the comments. We've already implemented better cleaning controls, bathrooms already have shampoo and soap dispensers (all of them), we have added a new air conditiong in a second room (we already had mobile air conditioning at the time of the reservation), the tree outside is not there anymore, so no young people is around any more. House was very clean and the layout was better than expected.

Pictures online do not do it any justice. The couple living in the lower floor are very respectful of our privacy and were the nicest people!!! Highly recommended

Charming Home, Charming Hosts

This was a charming home with equally charming hosts. The roof-top covered terrace with kitchen was a wonderful place to hang out in the mornings and evenings. As other guests have noted, the home is in a restaurant, bar, and shopping district, so there will be some street noise. However, we found it to be less of a problem than other places we have stayed, as the street it faces is residential. The owner, Javier, is a great source of information and treated us like family.

Wonderful stay in Puerto Vallarta!

This house was perfect for our family of 4 (with an extra bedroom that we never used, so room for more!). Very nice location next to the bus to quiet southern beaches, while still being in the downtown Zona Romantica. Aime and Ramon were very helpful as well. Thanks!

Charming space in a town environment

The great location afforded us access on foot to the beach and to most of Old Vallarta. My party of four (two couples) rented the second and the top floors of this three story residence in mid January 2018. I cannot comment on the first floor. Our space was clean and charming. The second floor has three bedrooms (two of which we used) and a comfortable sitting space. The top floor is an open area with a kitchen space, a space for a washing machine, a lounge space, and a shower area. The staff was accessible, responsive, and gracious. The lounge area on the top floor could have been more comfortable with a few cushions, and the mattresses in the bedrooms were firmer than we expected. The shower space on the top floor offers little protection from the cool morning air (prior to 9 am) and you can expect to hear the roosters crowing each morning. In summary, this is a charming space (ideal for four) with lots of potential.

Incredible stay at beautiful CasaMar in Puerto Vallarta

CasaMar is a beautiful home right in the heart of the romantic zone in downtown Puerto Vallarta! We loved the interior decorations which was subtle and elegant! Our hosts were simply amazing and treated as family! They took time to welcome us on the beautiful terrace with welcome drinks and we all.shared an incredible evening discussing about Mexican culture, tips on things to do in Puerto Vallarta! Our hosts made sure that we were.comfortable during our entire stay! All in all, if you are looking for a home away from home, CasaMar is your place! I can't thank the CasaMar hosts enough for taking care of our needs and making our stay most delightful! We will definitely stay at CasaMar next time we are in our favorite city in Mexico beautiful Puerto Vallarta! The beach and river is a shorr walk from CasaMar. All of the incredible gastronomic delights such as La Palapa, Vista Grill, Iguana at Casa Kimberley, River Cafe, Hacienda San Angel, La Capella, Archi's Wok are within walking distance from CasaMar! CasaMar is highly recommended!

True Home feeling

We were fortunate enough to discover Casa Mar, and the even better hostesses: Javier and Connie. The location in the heart of Old town was second to none, you can walk anywhere from the Malecon to Playa De Los Muertos. The highlight of our trip was the live music scene - directed where to go by Javier (el Maestro) The location was great to be able to soak in the local history and culture, from the incredible choices of food at the local mercado's to the great walks we had along the Rio Cuale and the beach. Their house was the first one on their block, and one of the first houses in the Romantic Zone! Now, Puerto Vallarta is a charming place for all to visit, to enjoy the beach, amazing restaurants, get a massage and see amazing sunsets.
