Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed with Elk Springs Resort over five times and have always loved the cabins and locations. This particular cabin was in a great spot with beautiful mountain views and the peaceful setting we expect from Elk Springs. Swimming pool and hot tub was great. Theater has very low volume with very basic speaker at the back. However, we were quite disappointed that the property did not include basic essentials — only one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay, and no shampoo or body wash provided. For the price and the standard we’ve come to expect, these small details made a big difference.Still a lovely stay overall, but hoping management ensures future guests have the basic amenities needed for a comfortable visit.

Awesome Experience

Thought we had a problem with the toilet upon arrival. I text the rental place and they were out the next morning and fixed it with no problem. They were very friendly and making the reservations were very simple. I would like to go back with a few couple for a weekend couples' getaway. Elk Springs Resort I will be back!!!!!!

We saw a bear as we were getting in the hot tub.. It was a small one.. I wish I had gotten a picture. Cabin was more than roomy.. The only problem I had wasy tv upstairs kept cutting out. kids has fun in the pool.

We had a few issues that needed to be taken care of by maintenance. The issues were dealt with quickly and professionally. Furniture was a little worn and pool area was a little dingy looking. Family Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time swimming in the pool and enjoying the hot tub. The theater room was a nice addition but we rarely used it. The cleanliness wasn’t what we expect from a resort type cabin. The bedrooms may accommodate 18 but the bathrooms do not in our opinion. Both bunk rooms (12 people) have to share bathrooms with other 6 by entering their bedrooms or thru kitchen. There isn’t enough storage in the bathrooms or bedrooms to set out toiletries or set linens anywhere but on toilet seats. Suggest these amenities and vanities be updated.

A very nice experience

It was nice, however a bit of a drive to get to attractions outside of the park. The cabin was spacious with nice furnishings. The kitchen was a bit small for the number of guest to accommodate. Cleaning on 3rd level was lacking with several big carcasses and a vit of dust. The cabin is a gem, just needed to have better attebtion tondetail on the cleaning. The management team was great and very responsive.

The pool was freezing they said maintenance replaced the heart the pool stayed the same temperature the entire stay we didn’t get to swim because it was too cold that was the point of staying there was the private HEATED pool it was dirty there was grease all over the cupboards there were bugs everywhere in there dust built up under the counters the floor was broken the chairs were broken there were staples on the floor it was not at all what I expected for my first time visiting tennessee

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When my friends and I arrived, it was apparent that housekeeping did not do their job properly. Housekeeping had to come and fix several issues, which took a few hours. That took away our ability to be comfortable because we could sit anywhere or even start to unpack our stuff until the cabin was cleaned properly. Also, it was freezing the whole 3 days we stayed. It's like the thermostat was broken or something. Other than that, the cabin and the amenities inside were great!

needing a fixing up

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is beautiful, but needs some fixing up. The refrigerator leaked bad. Washer was broken. Juczzi tubs didn't work. Roof in first floor bathroom shower leaked. Not much cooking equipment when you have a larger size group.(we had 15) trash cans filled up fast with no trash service during our stay had to call for removal.had maintenance there three time due to issues.cabin has termites.

Run while you can.

Reviewer Comments: 30 minutes from our check-in time with a vehicle full of groceries we were told we were going to have to wait an additional 4.5 hours to come back. The house reeked of marijuana. I cut my foot open with glass and the four days we were there we collected a cup of pieces of glass. Cigarettes were found every where throughout the home. The bath tub knob was broken. A toilet was broken. & NOT TO MENTION the "maintenance" guy entered the property without our permission while we were there & didn't hear him knock. Never will we stay there again.

We did contact you prior to your arrival to make you aware of an unfamiliar situation we were faced with. We left a voicemail letting you know the previous guest refused to leave and sheriff's department had to be contacted. Now we know this is not your fault, but please keep in mind we have never had a situation quite like this one. We are very sorry that you cut your foot and it is regrettable that we were not made aware of this until now. We have 24/7 staff assistance and we are happy to address anything that is not up to par. While we can understand it may be frustrating, our maintenance technician was dispatched out prior to your check-in to fix the broken toilet that you mentioned. He unfortunately had to retrieve a part and replaced it so you were able to utilize this toilet. We are very sorry if he interrupted your stay, but please bear in mind we had your best interest in mind. Please know it was not our intention to disappoint you and we do offer our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience experienced.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was nice but could use more bathrooms, furniture, and bathroom space. Master bedroom on main floor shared a bathroom with the rest of the main floor. This was inconvenient for for large families. Bathrooms in general were too small. Kitchen needs more pots and pans. lighting was dim in Kitchen. No chairs provided on decks. Broken glass bottles and trash around fire pit area. No end tables in living room to place drinks on. Furniture was worn and you sunk down in it. Pictures on website are not accurate. Shows queen beds next to one another. They were bunks. Not good for elderly people or older couples to use. Theater seats were not what was pictured. Cabin was in good location. Not bad but could use some attention and add some chairs to the decks.

Last minute

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I were put in this rental the day before check-in because our original cabin was discovered to have a bug infestation that they could not take care of prior to our arrival. When Elk Springs called to tell me this they said they had another cabin that was comparable to the cabin we initially rented. Comparable means similar or as good as. It was not. Our original cabin had 6 rooms and 6 bathrooms. This cabin only had 5 bedrooms and 3 & a half baths. Two of the bathrooms were in rooms on the second level. While the 3rd was on the main level with entrances from one bedroom and the other from the kitchen. That was difficult to deal with when you have 14 people. The washer and dryer was all in that main level bathroom. The half bath was down where the pool was. One of the rooms was all the way at the top and really was suppose to be just a loft area where you can look out into the woods. They put a bunkbed up there. None of the beds were comfortable. On top of that, on our 6 hour ride to the cabin I received a text saying that check-in time had to be pushed back from 3 to 5 which was okay because we had a little time left before we got there. But when we arrived at 5 the cleaning crew was still there and we had to wait an additional 45 minutes for them to finish. The cabin was also further from a lot of places we had planned to visit when we were planning to stay at the other cabin. We weren’t given any extra accommodations for the disruption in our trip. We only got some money back because the second cabin was cheaper than the original. We were only given two options: cancel our trip and get a full refund or go with the other cabin. We had to deal with the other cabin because it was less than 12 hours until we were planning to get on the road. There was no effort to try to properly accommodate us. Our trip wasn’t what we had expected and hoped it to be.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Golden Woods was overall fine. What we liked best was that it was quiet and surrounded by trees. They offered to come pick up the trash mid week and were responsive when we had a pool heater issue. The negatives were that the pool heater did not consistently work and the pool room seemed to be in need of general maintenance and better upkeep. The arcade game turned on but not all the buttons worked so we couldn’t play it. The porch chairs were new and nice but exterior of the cabin needed to be cleaned. There were heavy white cobwebs on the corners of the windows and the porches were dirty, which detracted from the overall experience. There was ample seating for our group and the furniture was in pretty good condition but there were not many tables or luggage stands to keep personal items/bags off the floor, and the dressers had blankets stored in them. There were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels provided including pool towels but no where to hang things to dry. More hooks on the walls to hang wet bath towels or pool towels would have been nice. The livingroom only had a coffee table but no end tables or lamps. Some of the windows had broken seals resulting in the cloudy glass you can’t really see through. The AC and appliances worked well and the door to the pool had a high handle and an alarm that made it nice for safety with small children. The washer and dryer were new and located on the main floor was nice but it was in the bathroom of the main floor en suite which made it a little awkward for other guests to access and use it.

The only thing I would recommend the staff to do is put cushions on bench and get larger tvs but I would recommend my family and friends to stay there

Huge disappointment

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin suffers from extreme overuse and lack of attention. The kitchen stove only had one working element, only one small skillet and the other pots and pans were paper thin and cheap. The bed pillows smelled badly, all bedding was worn out and nasty dirty. The dishwasher door was broken. The pool tile was broken in many places and taped with duct tape. The windows were so dirty that it was impossible to even see out. We will never return.

The cabin itself is great, there’s lots of space, my family had room to move around and enjoy themselves. Management was very professional and handle any of our concerns in a timely fashion. The only 2 things that I didn’t like was 1 the location, there was no real view, and everything was like 45 minutes away. Also it did take us an extra 2 hours before we could get inside of our cabin, said because of house keeping.. however there was dust and spider webs on a lot of stuff.
