Feast your eyes on a living seascape from every room, surrounded by a charming cottage décor. Awake breathless at the vision of the sun rising from the sea enshrouded in crimson clouds, while preparing for your first sip of a perfectly chilled mimosa on the veranda. Spend your day frolicking on one of the nation's cleanest beaches or simply allow yourself to be caressed by its soft sands. If you prefer a fun day of water sports on the bayside, there are jet-skis, paddle boards, and kayaks available for rent at various locations, including the Rusty Rudder.

For the more energetic, ride the picturesque 15-mile bike circuit along the pristine trails traversing the wetlands of Gordon's Pond and the vistas of Point Lookout at Henlopen State Park, where you can also visit the WW II seashore battery museum at Fort Miles. Continue to the quaint historic town of Lewes for a lunch break, perhaps enjoying one of Restaurant Agave's amazing margaritas. Afterwards, follow the Junction & Breakwater trail through marshes, corn fields, and a woodland canopy, returning to Rehoboth. Stop at the small bakery behind the Crystal Restaurant and reward yourself with one of their delicious chocolate croissants.

Later, back at your villa relax with a glass of wine from your favorite vintner's estate while savoring the sunset's afterglow playing on the clouds above the sea or take a short walk to the bay to see its full splendor from the decks of the Lighthouse Bar & Grill at the Hyatt. Following a great dinner at one of the fun restaurants close by (the crab cakes at Woody's are awesome) or in nearby Rehoboth, gravitate to the Dewey Beach live music nightlife or the amusements and shops along the Rehoboth boardwalk. Then return to your retreat by the sea to greet the rising moon whose sparkling reflection reaches towards you across a placid sea. Finally, fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves and float gently away as they permeate your dreams.

We completed a $2.5 Million renovation of the building in May 2019, including new stairs, walkways, verandas, and doors.

BOOKING SCHEDULE: From June through September, our bookings run from Saturday (arrival) to Saturday (departure), with a seven-night minimum. All other dates, the minimum stay is four nights. We do not rent December thru March. We will post any exceptions here should they occur. It's always a good idea to check the availability calendar before entering your requested dates. Please use the inquiry button if you have any questions about specific dates.

HOUSE RULES:
Maximum of four guests. Guests must provide and use their own bed linens, pillowcases, and towels. Coverlets, comforters, blankets, and pillows provided.

PET FEES. Dog-friendly year-round (two dog max). Pet fee: $20 per night total. Be sure to check the pet box when making your VRBO reservation in order for the fee to be included in your VRBO total. Please let us know if you will be bringing your pups so that we can authorize that in the rental agreement we will forward to you. No dogs allowed unless specified in the agreement. From May 15 to September 15, town rules: dogs allowed on beach before 9:30 A.M. and after 5:30 P.M. All other dates dogs are allowed on the beach anytime. Please check the Town of Dewey Beach website for information regarding dog licenses and other rules.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Salty Kiss Seaside is a one-unit enterprise. Therefore, the loss of income produced by a cancellation cannot be spread out as is the case in a 50-room hotel. Accordingly, the following charges will be assessed based on the number of days before scheduled arrival a written cancellation is received: 60 days or more, no penalty; 30 to 59 days, forfeiture of 50% of all funds paid; less than 30 days, 100% forfeiture of all funds paid. If the property is re-rented for any portion of the dates covered by the lease, the cancellation charge shall be reduced by the amount of the new rental fee received by the Owner. No refunds will be given for a) inclement weather, including hurricanes or storms or the forced evacuation of the property caused thereby; b) beach replenishment; c) noise or disturbances caused by surrounding properties, their inhabitants, or construction; or d) any other reason beyond the Owner's control.

NOTE: The VRBO/Google map incorrectly places Sunspot Condominium on the north side of McKinley Street, rather than on the south side where it is actually located.
