This is our second home and we are sure you will be as comfortable as you would be in your own home in this idyllic community of Mount Shasta.

This 'country elegant' style home has been freshly painted and carpeted, and includes a new see-through wood-burning stove (wood provided), cozy furnishings, TV, DVD/VCR, stereo/CD player, plush linens, and fully-functional kitchen (refrigerator with in-door ice/water dispenser, toaster, oven, microwave, blender, mixer, coffee maker and dishwasher) including cookware, tableware and utensils, washer and dryer.

We also have a new whole house water conditioner for clean sparkling water out of our own well.

Comfortably sleeps six, there are three bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, one with a queen-size bed, and one with twin beds. A crib is available for those traveling with babies. The large open kitchen adjoins the dining area. The living room is central to bedrooms and kitchen with plenty of seating for a family and guests.

Great stay! Wonderful clean cozy home. Owner and manager were extremely helpful. Kitchen was well equipped and the wood burning stove in the living room was especially delightful for chilly nights. I would recommend this place to others without hesitation.

We had a great stay and the property was amazing well equipped and comfortable. Love they had wood for the stove, clean, comfortable beds. we treated the place like our own home and were grateful that people trust to rent such amazing properties. Ohh forgot to mention that it was 8 min from town and they provided much information on attractions, and things to do. Wonderful hosts.

Clean. Great location near excellent hiking trails. Host and PM were excellent in communication. Only issue is I couldn’t figure out how to get any cable TV channels. Easy access to streaming however. Would return!

Great house for a group retreat!

I rented this house for sleeping quarters for the group I brought to Mt. Shasta for a spiritual retreat. Everyone LOVED the house... along with the deer that would come to visit daily!

Great location/nice layout of house and property

Great experience. Great communication with owner if you have any questions. Property is 5 minutes from town, very private, peaceful and quiet. Super close to Gateway Trail system and Lake Siskiyou. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely stay again.

Stop in Mt. Shasta

Our stay was short but sweet! The house is nicely appointed and has all the comforts of home. It is centrally located and in a nice neighborhood. Lela is very responsive and always available to answer our questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Three night stay during the week of July 4th Daytime temperatures were over 103° and we were able to stay cool and enjoy the visit in spite of the weather. Very nice and very comfortable. The kitchen is easy to use and had everything we needed.

Perfect location

I did not stay at the property, our crew stay at the house while working in Mt. Shasta. Was located close to the project. They didn't have any complaints about the house, it had everything they needed. It was clean, comfortable and had beautiful view. We will rent again if we are in the area. The only thing they mentioned was the morning train.

dog friendly home in Shasta

The house was very comfortable and cool indoors, despite it being in the high 80s during our stay. The property manager, Karla, was very responsive with communication which was appreciated (owners, too). We had fun looking at all their bass and calla lily decor :) Great location--only a few exits away from downtown and headwaters. Kitchen had basic needs, and bedrooms were comfortable. Check in/check out process was easy. Will be coming back!

Girls get away

Celebrated my oldest daughters 60th birthday. House was perfect for us four girls to giggle, laugh, and create wonderful memories. House was so homey and comfortable. Will go back there!!

Thanksgiving at House of Bass and Lilies

This house is great! We cook on our VRBO vacations and this house has a kitchen stocked for a chef! Thanksgiving dinner requires a lot of pots and pans and this house has it all! The living room is comfortable with Roku and dvd options! The bed is super comfortable, the showers hot, and deer walking by the windows quite an entertainment! I recommend a visit here! And Karla the manager is superb!

Comfortable

The place was as described. The owner was very easy to communicate with, answered promptly and had many specific notes and directions throughout the home. Beds were comfortable, showers had great water pressure otherr than that we were at a class from 8am to 9pm so we weren't at the home more than sleeping and showers. It was wonderful!

Fantastic house

House was fantastic! Very clean, well supplied. Quiet and peaceful. Would have liked a little step stool to reach the wine glasses, but my 6ft husband filled in. Lol Thankyou so much for sharing your home. The deer visited us twice a day. It was wonderful.

We live in a major metropolitan area with busy work interacting with the public that never seems to stop. It was during our first anniversary that we visited Mount Shasta for the first time. We made an offer on a home before we left! We wanted to have a getaway that was peaceful but still full of the activities we enjoyed. Rather than renting a place each time we visited, we decided to have a home in Mount Shasta be our personal second home.

We tried to experience as much as we could during our first visit: playing golf at Mount Shasta Resort, hiking around Siskiyou Lake, eating at many of the local restaurants (that are all so good that we can't decide which one is our favorite), having an afternoon break at the local pub (The Goat Tavern), riding bicycles, fishing several of the local streams, lakes and rivers and doing a little shopping in quaint downtown Mount Shasta. We just missed ski season but knew that Mount Shasta Ski Park would be there for future winters.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It's so easy to get there by flying into Medford OR or Redding CA, both being a little more than an hour from our home, or driving up straight off I-5. We visit as often as we can, but not often enough. Since it's we're not able to us it as often as we'd like, we thought it was too beautiful to keep to ourselves so we thought it should be a vacation rental for others seeking a home away from home, to enjoy the scenery, tranquility and serenity of the Mountain.
