Overall, this place was a good value for our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). The layout worked perfectly, with a private bedroom for us and a second bedroom with two separate beds for the kids. The Positives:Having AC during the London heat wave was a huge plus; when running, it got the unit nice and cold. The location is convenient for daily essentials, with a grocery store and restaurants within a 10-minute walk, and Imperial Wharf station very close by. Initial communication with the host was adequate, once we checked in we were given a property contact who was very responsive.Things to Note:Privacy: The unit is on the lower level facing the main walkway between buildings. It has shrubs for cover, but it’s less private than other units when sitting out on your patio.AC & Smell: The AC unit in all rooms kept showing an error light and had to be restarted to reset, but they worked which is huge plus during the heat wave! When the air was still, we noticed a musty smell, mostly in the primary bedroom/bathroom.Amenities: Very bare-bones. You need to supply your own washcloths, cooking oil, and personal toiletries.Transit: Close to Imperial Wharf station, 5 minute walk, expect a 30 to 60-minute commute to reach the main central London sights.Beds: They were okay. For the price, it’s a solid, functional home base.
