Thank you for your review. The WIFI hasn't been mentioned as an issue to date, so we will raise with the owner to see if the service needs to be improved. We are in the mountains so service will not be as fast as at home, but it should be fine apart from for streaming so this does need investigating. With regards to the location, we are wondering if you didn't download the detailed information pack we send? You can walk to pizzeria/bar in less than 15 mins and the local 'capital' of the area, the market town of Castelnuovo is just over a 5 min drive with all facilities and the very popular medieval town of Barga with its array of very good restaurants, bars, gelateria etc is just a 15 min drive. A day out to Lucca is a must. The pack gives many suggestions for days or afternoons out both locally and further afield and one week is not enough to enjoy these. Good to hear Hennie looked after you - she enjoyed you as guests. Best wishes, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats.
