Stone cottage with wonderful loggia, private pool, walk to facilities.

Dear Axel, Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the property and that you liked the area. We have sent your comments to the owner and the house will be fully repainted during this Winter, and funds will also be spent on the kitchen, including a new oven and hob. The pool shower has been looked at and it does work fine, but since it is solar heated it takes time for the water to come through at a good temperature. We hope to hear from you again in the future. Best regards, The team at Tuscan Retreats

Dear Caroline, Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the property and that you liked the area. We hope to hear from you again in the future. Best regards, The team at Tuscan Retreats

Thank You my wonderful guests !

Dear Adam, Thank you for the review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry to hear about the bell tower, but you'll find them in almost all Italian villages and hopefully this added to the authenticity of your stay :-). We hope to hear from you again in the future. Best regards, Marie - Tuscan Retreats

Thank you very much for your lovely review. We are delighted that you enjoyed the private pool, terrace, beautiful views and the charming village. It is wonderful to hear that the property lived up to your expectations from the photographs. For future guests do note, whilst the property forms part of a traditional stone building, the adjoining apartment accessed from the main entrance is NOT occupied whenever there are guests staying at the cottage. It remains completely closed throughout each booking to ensure guests have complete privacy and never need to worry about noise from, or to, another apartment. With regard to parking, whilst cars cannot be driven to the front entrance because of the narrow village lane (as explained in our arrival information), there is parking available at the rear of the property. Guests can either park on the grassed area outside the gate or continue a little further to park behind the pool area, making access very straightforward. Thank you once again for your kind comments. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back to Tuscany again in the future. Lorraine at tuscan-retreats

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad you enjoyed the cool house, the veranda, the pool, the village kittens, and the smooth arrival communication. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the mattress firmness, as guest comfort is very important to us. We hope to welcome you back again in the future! Best regards, The Tuscan Retreats Team

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the shaded terrace and the swimming pool, and that the house matched the photos. We appreciate your practical notes regarding drive times, local amenities, and comfort. Your suggestions for a focused local guide covering immediate attractions, as well as clearer waste-sorting instructions, are very helpful, and we will work on implementing these to improve the guest experience. Thank you again for staying with us and helping us refine our service. Best regards, The Tuscan Retreats Team

Thank you for your 5 star review! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back again soon. Best wishes, Lorraine at Tuscan-retreats.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry the house didn't feel clean. It is thoroughly cleaned each week but you are right in that some parts of it need to be refurbished/decorated so one can see it is clean. The owner has taken your comments on board and over the winter the house will be painted throughout inside, and work will be undertaken to improve the kitchen, including a new oven and hob, and further storage etc. For future guests, do note there is a lovely little rustic restaurant with home made food in the village itself - a 2 minute walk. Best wishes, the team at tuscan-retreats

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you found the house unclean. It is thoroughly cleaned each week but with an old oven and hob/kitchen area and with painting being required, it does not feel so. As a result the house will be repainted internally over the winter, a new oven, hob and other kitchen items are to be purchased, and a general maintenance programme will be undertaken. Thank you for pointing out these issues to us so that we can arrange to rectify during the closed season. This is a lovely little house in a beautiful location and the wintertime efforts will hopefully bring back all the 5 star reviews it has previously enjoyed. Best wishes from the team at Tuscan-retreats
