Great Walkable Location, But Unit Needs Attention It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to downtown restaurants, shops, and the beach which was convenient. Valet is expensive at 50/day. But, the staff at the Royal Garden Wyndham were great!There is a musty, moldy smell, and at times a sewage odor when entering the unit. The A/C was turned off when we arrived, and it was 85F inside. It took several hours to cool down, which made for an uncomfortable start. The unit would benefit from room-darkening curtains, as the heat and sun come in throughout the day.The furnishings are worn and not particularly functional for a group of six. The couches in the living room are small and only seat about four people. Small TV in living room and two bedrooms; one bedroom no TV. The beds were uncomfortable and need new mattresses. The bathroom fixtures are worn, and the showers are small, not great for anyone 6 feet tall.Alii Beach Rentals provides minimal supplies for a 3-bedroom, 3-bath unit. Each bathroom had one (1 oz) shampoo, body wash, and lotion. No bar soap provided. There was also no hand soap in the kitchen. Bring your own coffee or coffee pods, none are supplied. There’s no ice available in the unit either; you’ll need to make it using trays or purchase ice yourself.
