Family Fun Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 507 is beautifully decorated. The furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms are spacious, and the adjoining bathrooms are convenient. The balcony view is beautiful. The checkin process is convenient, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This was my family’s first time staying at Aqua, and we definitely recommend it. One suggestion would be to extend the ramp access to the beach. The steps to access the beach were challenging for my mother, who was staying in another unit at Aqua.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was exceptional and the owner is a good person but the property management (Aqua) leaves much to be desired. Aqua this year was a real pain in the butt and actually has done more to discourage people than to encourage them. I have rented fom Aqua for 12 years ,6 years in the same unit from the same owner but things have changed with the management company and I will no longer recommend them to anyone. Many other longtime (snowbirds) winter guests are also looking for other options. It was a good ride while it lasted.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay with several family members renting three units. Unit 507 could use some updated furniture. None of the furniture was very comfortable. Also there are multiple elevators down due to prior hurricane damage but they did not divulge the information until the week of the reservation that meant there was no opportunity to change resorts without losing money.

Reviewer Comments: This is our eleventh year here at Aqua and sad to say that this was probably the worst of the eleven. Our individual condo was very good but the Aqua managed facility left much to be desired. The swimming pool was very dirty, not just the pool area but the edge of the pool itself was filthy with body oils and sun lotion oils/creams. I personally spoke with the CAM about this and was told that it was taken care of, that was in January, here it is the end of Feb. and it is still filthy. Not too healthy of a place to go swimming ! I understand that the maint. must be done but the whole winter has been one big cluster mess. The closing of the sky walk has been nothing but a major screw-up. Would I recommend this to a friend ? I have and did but am extremely embarrassed by the facility this year. yes I have rebooked for 2021 but if it is like this next year it will be our last here at Aqua. So Aqua home owners assn you may be wise to listen to your winter guests complaints and try to make some improvements to the way you are managing your properties. At one time Aqua was the prime property for us snowbirds to rent but this year has made many of us give second thoughts about staying here or looking for someplace else. Lots of new stuff being built here in PCB and actually priced better than Aqua. Your reputation is on the line whether you want to believe it or not.

Reviewer Comments: The condo is a beautiful place... the indoor pool was not heated and it may simply be because of the recent Hurricane Michael ... and that works for us. I thin there should be signs posted on the floors to advise there the trash shoots are .. many people were asking about that so in case when they checked out and had multiple bags of trash to take out ... that would be the reason. The Security needs to be more patient and accommodating to people that are paying ALOT of money to stay at the AQUA .... they come across like this .... I WORK FOR THE HOA AND THAT IS THE WAY IT IS"..... OK so we understand and it's not like full summer crowds and they simply need to chill and not think they want to push some badge they dont have LOL ... we were about to respond OK .. well you work for HOA and we work for the CIA and FBI .. since the young fella wanted to be so.. diligent in his commands! We just went with it but come on now .... we are not criminals or breaking the law but he thought he was all THAT!

Not the unit that I paid for!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, let me start off by saying that upon arrival I thought we were in unit 110 which I booked in March. But was told AT CHECK IN that the owner of that unit took it off of the rental program. A heads up would have been nice, Aqua you dropped the ball on this one. So we were then given unit 204 which did not have a washer or dryer big enough (small capacity) and the ocean view was partially blocked by palm trees, so we were then moved to unit 507. This until was nice and spacious, the only negatives that I can point out was the lack of extra pillows and blankets for the pull out couch and nook area, lack of hangers, the TV in the master bedroom would not work, and also the blinds in the master bedroom would not close, they were very frustrating. My boys LOVED the nook area that consisted of two chaise lounges and a TV, this was their happy place while not on the beach. We prefer a ground level unit so we do not have to use elevators so it was very upsetting to find out at CHECK IN that our room had changed. Side note-I was told by the front desk that the owner of unit 110 said to take it and her other units off the rental program and that she may or may not use the rooms, and that Aqua was given very short notice of this. (a call should have still been made. I am a paying customer and I did not get what I paid for which was a room on the ground level) If this is case, that the owner of owner of unit 110 does not think that paying customers are as important as their agenda, then shame on you. If what I have stated is not true then you can take that up with the front desk.Will we stay at Aqua again, I guess time will tell. I was also told that we would be compensated for being 'shuffled' from room to room, it's been over a week since check in and still no refund on my end. Other than the room mishap, we love the location and the property is always clean and well kept. Located near the pier for fishing and Pier Park for eating and shopping.
