You're in the heart of Denver! This lovely private quiet newly remodeled 2 BR/ 1 bath brick carriage house, with a patio table area, sits behind an 1893 Victorian in historic Whittier neighborhood. You are two blocks from beautiful City Park (with golf, trails, lake, playground, boathouse, and tennis), Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Science & Nature. Walk to cafes and 17th Street/Uptown restaurants. You are a 12 minute walk (2 min drive) to the Uptown health district including St. Luke's Pres and St Josephs hospitals. Short drive to: Downtown, 16th Street Mall, Union Station, LoDo, Coors Field, RiNo Arts District, Botanic Gardens, Cherry Creek Mall, Fillmore and Ogden Theaters, and more. You are 10-15 minutes from everywhere you'd want to be in Denver!

The space: You will feel at home in this peaceful carriage house, yet so close to everything Denver has to offer. Exposed brick walls, wood floors, high ceilings, stainless steel/granite kitchen, with original art throughout this beautiful retreat. Full kitchen with chef supplies, hi speed WiFi and a Roku Smart TV where you can access Netflix and your other channels (no cable). You will have access to the entire house, all to yourselves, for your entire stay. Come and go as you please with self-check-in and keypad code entry.

The neighborhood: You will be two blocks from beautiful City Park where you can enjoy the walking and biking trails, golf (brand new course is open!), tennis, lake with boats and boathouse, the Denver Zoo and the wonderful Denver Museum of Science and Nature. Blocks from Presbyterian St. Luke's and Saint Joseph hospitals (walking distance). Short drive or bike ride will get you Downtown, Coors Field, LoDo, RiNo and to all the other great neighborhoods and attractions that Denver has to offer.

Getting around: Parking is widely available on the street in front of the main house. Uber/Lyfts usually arrive within 3 minutes. Buses run regularly 1.5 blocks away on York. Car2Go is available throughout central Denver.

A comfortable and spacious place to stay in Denver, just steps away from City Park. The house is very well appointed with ample crockery and glassware and comfortable beds and furniture. Instructions for access were clear. We had little need to contact the host but the one time we did they replied promptly.

Absolutely loved this carriage house! Kitchen was very well appointed which was great as I needed to prepare some Thanksgiving dishes for my daughter’s house. Beds great! One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed in . There were 3 of us and my toddler grandson came over to play and take a nap. Thanks for the pack and play!

Lovely converted carriage house

Lovely converted carriage house in a friendly residential neighborhood within walking distance of City Park. Calm and quiet.10 mins drive downtown, easy access to everything (including groceries).The house is very well furnished and perfectly stocked up. Communication with the owners is easy and efficient. Would not bother looking for another place if I went to Denver again… so don’t hesitate.Nick (family of 4 with 2 teens)

Perfect for family getaway

The property is a gem - very cute decor, super clean, and quiet location near the city park. We were very comfortable during our stay. Great spot for visiting the park, zoo, and museum of nature and science. Hosts were very responsive. I appreciated the nice, cool AC on the hot summer days! We would definitely stay here again.

Family visit to Denver

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully restored carriage house in Denver! The place was well stocked (kitchen, bathroom), clean, cozy and very charming. It provided everything we needed, including some toys and puzzles for my toddler. We were a party of four generations, and the carriage house served us all well including my toddler and his great grandmother. The location is in a cute, safe neighborhood with ample parking on the streets. The hosts were communicative, and the check in/out processes were very simple and straightforward. Located close to places of interest like the Denver Zoo and great food, there were lots to do and places to eat within a 5-15min drive away. We would absolutely stay here again on a future visit.

Beautiful Oasis

As someone raised in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood, discovering a hidden gem like this in my hometown felt both surreal and deeply nostalgic.The carriage house is a sanctuary. At this time of year, there’s nothing quite like sitting in the courtyard, feeling the hush of the early morning light or letting the evening breeze carry your thoughts. It’s peaceful, poetic, and grounding.I wholeheartedly recommend the carriage house. If I ever find myself staying in Denver again, this will undoubtedly be my first choice.

Excellent Find

This private carriage house was so quiet and spacious. We were looking for something to spread out and enjoy away from the hustle and bustle of my son’s wedding festivities. This place was perfect. The neighborhood is safe and walkable with City Park and a few restaurants near by. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the towels are big and fluffy.

Nearby park and quiet neighborhood

We spent a week visiting our son who had moved to Denver in June. The home was clean and had all the amenities needed to prepare a meal. Nearby in walking distance was a park and two coffee shops. Highly recommended.

Nice cottage

Very roomy and pleasant cottage behind a house. Had no problems with parking on the street or getting in. Very convenient location for the zoo and science museum. Accommodation was comfortable and had all the basics we needed. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it looked well stocked. I personally found the king bed too soft for my liking, but the other beds were firmer and comfortable. Everything we used was clean, though the ceiling exhaust fan in the bathroom could use a wipe down. Would stay again if we came back to town!

As advertised, the Denver Cottage was perfect. Clean, well appointed and a terrific location for any Denver activity. And parking was was always available on Vine Street in front. We’ll definitely stay there again next time in Denver
