This beautiful, private, & secure sanctuary is a great spot to call home while you are in Denver. Located in the vibrant Capital Hill neighborhood, you will be staying in the best spot in the city. Rated with a walkscore of 90, you are staying near the heart of the city while still enjoying the easygoing neighborhood feel. You will be within walking distance to Denver's most wonderful restaurants, bars, and shopping. See our guidebook for all of our recommended hot spots in Denver.

You’ll love my classic Tanzania themed rowhouse because It's a charming old house that sits up above the street with a beautiful private porch with gated entrance. Capitol hill is a wonderful thriving neighborhood which is close to so much! You can walk to Downtown, Broadway, Colfax and a number parks very quickly. Within this area is a great deal to do, you'll see in the pictures some of my favorite spots and all of them are within 10min walk of the house. Dettached garage comes with the house.

Home is beautiful. Wonderfully appointed and in a great location. Close to everything you would need. Best part is the gracious and thoughtful host. Joshua made the stay exceptional. Highly recommend to all.

Excellent communication from host, property was spotlessly clean - had everything one needed for an extended stay. Garage parking was essential in this neighborhood (garage door was somewhat temperamental) area good for walkable food & grocery choices. Security & automatic lighting was appreciated. Only comments: would not recommend for 6 adults due to only 1 small full bathroom but perfect for 2 - maybe with 2 kids? Would recommend & would return if in Denver again.

A Perfect Getaway in the Heart of Denver

We had a wonderful stay at The Arusha House Capitol! The home was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived.One of the best parts was the location—we walked everywhere! It was incredibly convenient to some of Denver’s best museums, restaurants, and parks. After a day of exploring, it was such a treat to come back and relax in the cozy living area.The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and check-in was a breeze. The host was warm, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed.We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Arusha House Capitol to anyone visiting Denver!

Beautiful home

The area was perfect not too far from anything. The house is old rustic, but made very comfy and home like I loved it. A lot of upgrades done to it making it even better. Only bad thing is that my rental was too big for the garage and parking is horrible in the area. We also noticed a few dusty areas such as under the bed and some of the corners in the room rooms, but other than that, it was very maintained and cleaned.

Wonderful stay so close to downtown

The property is in a multifamily building but was exceptionally quiet. The only noise came from children playing at the school, which we find pleasant. We had everything we needed to be comfortable and warm. Everything was just right for our stay. Very charming and cozy place.The garage is a huge bonus as parking is a challenge in the neighborhood. We were able to squeeze our Volvo XC90 into the garage which made our stay even more relaxing as we could drive anywhere without worrying about where we would park at the end of the day. Josh and Rachel were terrific hosts.

Cute, comfortable place!

Beds so comfy, decorations so cute. The kitchen is well stocked and the living area nice for spending time with you group. I will note that if you're temperature sensitive and it's the summer, you should expect to sleep with your doors open upstairs (AC is in the hallway). Most of the time Denver is beautiful for open windows, so this wouldn't stop me from booking again!

Cozy House in a walkable neighborhood

We loved our stay in Capital Hill area. This home had beautiful well made older qualities, but with the necessary modern updates. One of the most comfortable city stays I've had. The house was clean and very well cared for, with beautiful design/decor elements. The kitchen has anything you would need to prepare meals. The home was cozy and comfortable. Also a big note for me is how comfortable the beds were. Many home rentals will cheap out in the bed department, not these guys! We loved the master bedroom it was comfortable and had a nice window to look down on the courtyard. Good neighborhood, close to things, and we felt pretty safe while we were there. There is plenty of outside space in the back or on the front porch. We didn't need the owner for anything while we were there, but they were available if needed. 10/10 would stay again. Only note is to be mindful that check in is at 6 pm which can be a little late for some people.

Perfect place for our girls trip!

We loved the house! Spent mornings and evenings on private front porch. Walking distance to great breakfast and shops. Having the garage to park in was also a huge perk! Would highly recommend!

Perfect location!

House matched the description and was even better than expected! The location is great for getting a true experience of everything Denver has to offer. The rooms were all comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very quick to respond to all my questions! Absolutely recommend!!

Great Location!

Joshua was easily accessible and his home was the perfect location for our stay in Denver. We were able to walk to so many area attractions and the house was amazing. Small touches everywhere made for a truly great experience. I visit Denver at least once a year and will absolutely be interested in staying again because of how wonderful this location and home were.

Scottish by birth, I travelled around the states a bit after University and found the the people of Colorado were the friendliest I had met on my travels. I decided to stay that was 20years ago. This is such a wonderful city and state. I'm a sports fan, billiards player, DIYer and thinker.
I started Airbnbing to help pay for a holiday here and there and now I've graduated to full time in the hopes I can stop the 9-5 grind and live my life more fully.
My parents rented cottages growing up and learning from that my goal is to give my guests the absolute best experience possible.
