***THE CLUB HOUSE/POOL/GYM IS OPEN ON 1 MAY*** MINIMUM 7 NIGHT STAY. Welcome to our humble 2br, 2bth sleeps 4 adults comfortably. Due to previous damages and rental repairs, we request that you please leave everything the way you found it, wash the linen and make the beds. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at this time. This is not a Hotel, it is our Home, please respect the property. There is keyless entry for your convenience and our property location is the Topsail Landings Condos, at 100 Gateway Condos Drive, unit #124, Surf City, NC 28445 which is located on the corner of Rt 210/Rt 50 close to all the shopping, grocery stores and local Restaurants. Approximately 1 mile from the beach, anyone can take a short bike ride along the surf city boardwalk pathway and across the bridge. There is a screened In Porch and outside deck with view of pool and club house. I have Surf Board to use for free and will give surfing lesson for a discounted fee (rate variable upon time). Property Owners and Management is not responsible for individual guest actions. ALL RENTERS ARE INCOURAGED TO BRING THEIR OWN PERSONAL LINEN AND TOWELS. We have towels and bedding, however all we ask is to leave everything in the condo the way you found it. The Condo is furnished with all basic appliances, if you have any special requests please feel free to contact us at (910) 539-1709. Nice stay- near the beach

Enjoyed our time. The pool was nice for a morning dip and the balcony was good for relaxing and reading a book.

Wonderful.place to stay

It was a wonderful vacation. Very nice and clean condo. Had everything we needed and very convenient to shopping areas and grocery store. Owner responded quickly to all.questions. I woukd stay there again

The condo was nice, but the address was not the same as on the website. On the website site it looks like it is across the street from the beach but it’s not it is 8 minutes from the beach.

Cancelled stay with promise to be reimbursed

Discussed issues with VRBO owner about location and need to add space for my in-laws. He said we could cancel with a full refund. We cancelled and still have yet to be refunded and are still receiving notices about the rental that we did not stay in.

Very nice overall

Enjoyed the condo and the outdoor porches overall, but the vrbo listing showed it being on the island instead of 2 miles away on the mainland which was misleading. There was public parking accesses t the beach for $25/day or $80 for the week though which worked out. Internet had been knocked out by a storm and David was very prompt in getting it fixed and had someone over the very next day to have it fixed. No other complaints with h property and it was wothin.walking.distance of several shops, grocery stores and restaurants which was nice.

Tired and Worn

Great location and condo site amenities but the place is worn and tired. -Master bedroom bed is an old spring mattress. After 5 nights, my back hurt so bad I had to leave. No refund offered. -Patio door rollers are broken requiring enormous effort to open the door. -Dishwasher didn't work -Sleeps 6 but only two can sit at the cafe table. Two more at the bar. -Mishmash of dishes and cups. Not a single cutting knife for food prep. -Rusted washer and dryer. -Kitchen cabinets delaminating from age. With a little bit of investment by the owner this place could be great but as is, look for another place.

Excellent location but frustrating communication. -

We loved the location - easy walking to several restaurants etc. Huge unit ! Clean - but needs a paint job ! wish the “ master “ bed was a queen but it was fine for a few days I was frustrated with communication with the owner as we had issues with getting ahold of him when the wifi locking system was being irratic upon arrival - fortunately we were able to mess with it and after 30 min or so it worked- but that whole time we didn’t hear from the owner - we did eventually but it took some time - I made sure to let him know exactly when we would arrive - I understand owners are not available immediately but it was late on a Thursday - owner did provide a key code once he knew we had issues with the lock but that would have been nice to have had from the beginning As technically is awesome until it doesn’t work - Then we were frustrated at never getting answers to simple questions - ( our trip details were showing an error message within VrBO app so we could not access the house procedures) - we literally asked what to do with the sheets and towels and never got a straight forward answer He repeatedly told us “ leave as it was found “ we get that - Obviously - but every rental is different and we are paying for cleaning so whether that means wash towels and put away or leave towels for cleaning service - we don’t know as I let him know we couldn’t access the details - we were barely there - also I asked if there was a “ welcome booklet “ to explain a few things / tips / etc regarding the home or are area such as “ there is a key tag on the counter “ what is this for ? I asked and he said “ this is our house sorry it’s not a hotel “ is that really necessary ? We have rented our home out as well as having rented other homes and have always found something regarding FYIs- like on day 2 he said oh the WiFi password is behind the tv - again- something that could have been discussed but since it’s not a hotel I guess we were to have found it eventually — all in all it was a nice place for a few days but we would stay elsewhere ....

Short stay for a family event

Our stay in Surf City was excellent. We found the accommodations very comfortable. The condo was well stocked. You can walk to the restaurants. Just a short drive or walk to the beach.

Family fun at Surf City

This property is not on the island but it is just over the bridge and super convenient. It was very spacious for our family and we loved the screened porch. The locks were a bit of a challenge at arrival but after we had our account set up correctly and WiFi access we had no problems. The living room furniture is a bit worn out but other than that we had everything we needed and it was a great family vacation.

2 night trip

Very nice Condo. Great location. Both bedrooms on opposite sides, for additional privacy. Pretty quiet for a condo bldg. Had everything we needed for our short stay. Listing says bring linens & towels, but unit had those when we arrived (?). David was available to answer our questions. We will return. Thank you David for all your help.

Great stay despite the weather

We had a great stay despite the weather not cooperating with us most of the time. Walking distance from good restaurants and bars (and brewery) and a short drive to the beach. While it was raining on and off we also spent a good time at the pool. Dave was very communicative with me and was there if I needed him. Highly recommend.

Surf city beach trip

Condo is beautiful and close to everything. We had trouble with the August lock, but I think that was the lack of being able to get the wifi connection. We seemed to be in a dead zone. Property owner was very helpful and curtious. He was very up front about some issue in the condo, that I feel should be taken care of. No worries, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks again

Great location, clean, everything we needed!

Enjoyed our stay very much! Location was great! The property was very clean and had EVERYTHING we needed! Loved being able to have access to a pool. The owner was available and answered my questions promptly. Another favorite thing about the place were the two balconies.
