Review is a little late. Our stay was 18 February to 25 February. The condo was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets from the deck. Furnished tastfully and modern. Clean and up to date. Kitchen was stocked with flatware, dishes coffe cups and glasses, blender and slow cooker ( even some tupperware). All appliances, dishwasher, stove, oven, refrigerator, and coffe maker worked perfectly except the toaster (we made due, but really could use a new one). Plenty of towels (bath and beach) and wash cloths.. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows (one thing to note, becarefull of the wooded ledge surounding the king size bed, definitly will bang uo your chins). Air conditioning was perfect except for one blip, the second bedroom's shut down. Called management, they immediately sent someone over ( it was a Sunday). He was unable to fix, but a HVAC repaiman came on Monday and the situation was remedied .Walk out to the deck, either to from the master bedroom of the living room, open the gate and there is the pool. Plenty of lounges and umbrellas. Walk out the front door, turn left, press the buzzer and you are at the pool at Croc's. Perfect in all ways. Waitress services for drinks and food, plenty of lounges and umbrellas.Felt very safe, security cameras and security. Security manning the parking lot gate, 100% on top of their game. All in all, great stay and will return.

Overall, the property is very nice. A couple things off about the rental. There was two sliding doors, one from the living room in the other from the master bedroom today outside deck area. Neither door was able to be opened by my wife or son. It felt as the doors were off track. But on inspection, it appeared that they were just old and we’re not in functioning shape. The cookware in the kitchen, mainly the frying we’re well used. The Teflon coating was all scratched off. The outside deck area could use some additional seating. Something more comfortable than night wood rocker chairs. The bed in the master bedroom was not the best, but it wasn’t the worst either. The headboard was not attached to the bedframe.

Great location The Palms is a great building

The location is great and it was clean so i gave it 4 stars. This is the 3rd condo in the building I have stayed at. It is the least well kept. There was a smell, but not bad enough to turn me off. The furniture is old and in need of replacement. The A/C in the smaller bed room quit. They came and looked at it the next day and said it was not repairable. The other A/C units worked fine so with the door open it wasn't bad. The master bathroom shower head is mounted 7 ft up on the wall. It works but the water streem hits the opposite wall at about 5 feet. So if you can reach the wand you can take a decent shower. If your short forget it. Just a ridiculous install that is easily fixed. If there are no better units available I would stay there again. I would even buy it and fix it. Wouldn't take much to make it very nice.

Our family loved the front beach view, it was clean, confortable and well equipped. We also enjoyed the great pool area of the Crocks Hotel right next to the apartment building. Some minor details can improve, but overall we would like to return soon.

Nightmare with support in Condo and with Vacasa.

Well one of Bathrooms either leaked Water from toilet Bowl or did not work for all of stay. Talked to Support Management 5 times and at end they turned off water so did not work. Just to be exact reported Leak of toilet Weds, Man came but did not fix. Still leaked so reported Thur, Fri and Sat and they came Sun AM and turned off for Sunday and Monday and still off Tues when we left. Problems with dish washer, They loaded with soap and then turned of breaker. Why you do that? Doors to Beach would hardly work. we tried WD40 but needed more would hardly work for woman or child. They were repairing the hour I was leave today, I actually think I hurt my back. I understand most in complex the same. Confusion with Door that goes to Croc Casino. I think handled incorrectly. They do not advise that door closes at 10PM and then they have a buzzer to return and security lets you in, However that Buzzer does not work and they want you to walk around Casino and out of area late at night. Wait lets leave Casino and walk down deserted streets. So smart. Limited parking so some times must park on street. Nothing happened to car but. Now street parking was fairly close but again. I love my Golf Clubs. May have lost something else in the foggy 6 days.

Lacking attention

Lacking attention Almost impossible to open the doors that lead out to the patio because the bearings in the sliding glass doors are obsolete. The screens on the sliding glass doors are completely destroyed which made it impossible to leave the doors open without the mosquitoes coming in. Is obvious this unit has had no attention from its owner in quite some time.

Great place to stay

Enjoyed our stay with access to beach and Crocs pool. It was great for family with young kids. The walk into town is a little long for young kids but easy to grab a taxi if needed. Would stay here again.

We were somewhat worried about coming to this area with our family because of the reputation of Jaco as a party town. Also, this place only had one review so we had many questions about whether it would be right for us. We were pleasantly surprised how much we liked this place! It?s perfectly located for us. It was no more than a15 minute walk or very quick car/cab ride to the center of town. There are a few restaurants much closer than that (including the resort next door). The room is located in a condo right next door to Crocs resort, where you get to use the pool, which is fantastic and warm. The unit is on the ground floor right next to the pool and facing the ocean! Despite,that, it was nice and quiet every night! We had two kids but forgot to ask for a crib. After reaching Tatty we had a pack n play within two hours! The place is not perfect (perfect is something we never find in Latin America). But all of the furniture is in good working order. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked etc. There are beach towels and a couple boogy boards which are nice touches. They left us enough laundry detergent and dishwasher soap that we never had to buy any. The washer and dryer is a huge plus! The condos are behind a gate with 24 hour security so we felt uber safe. As for Jaco, we liked it very much. The seediness we heard about was never apparent. It was smaller than we expected and quite quaint. We found nice restaurants and shops in town. Even out at 10pm we near felt even a hint of sketchiness. We?d go back in a heartbeat.
