Contemporary Private Home with Pool, A/C, Ocean and mountain views.

Tucked away in a beautiful canyon just 2 minutes from town, Rancho Los Gatos is located on 7 plus acres surrounded by nature. Panoramic views of ocean, islands and mountains. Only 1.5 miles from freeway access, shopping, beaches and entertainment but feels worlds apart in a beautiful mountain setting. Popular with A list celebrities.

The master bedroom is located on the upper wing of the house, with a walk-in closet and large en-suite bath with soaking tub. Two guest bedrooms are on the lower wing of the house, with a shared bathroom, a layout very well suited to small families. A third Guest room is set up as an office for remote workers with a comfortable queen sized sleeper sofa that provides a private space for a working vacation or comfortable accommodations for overnight guests. The sunroom offers beautiful mountain views and is a quiet place to read or enjoy evening cocktails. With 3300 square feet on over 7 acres, this beautiful home is like your own private retreat.
* We did not rent this house during a good part of the pandemic, however, it was rented last summer 2021 for approximately 10 weeks to 2 different high profile celebrities who loved their time here.

Beautiful house! We had high hopes as friends had stayed last year and we were not disappointed; everything from communication upon booking, to arrival instructions and tips while we were there was truly above and beyond what you would expect. Total Relaxation in a beautiful property

The house is so relaxing, amazing views. The furnishings are really interesting and the location was perfect for us. Far away enough as to be secluded, but everything drivable within 10/15 mins.

Amazing rental

Retreat to SB hills

Beautiful property to unwind and relax. Soaking up the sun and the views from the back patio and pool area were amazing. A short drive to downtown SB and the beaches.

Rancho Los Gatos!

Gorgeous and well appointed property just minutes from Santa Barbara…yet felt remote. Spacious for our group of four girls getting away for a long weekend. Great communication with the owner who just wants guests to be comfortable and have a great time.

Great location and amenities!

The views out every window are phenomenal and the pool is spectacular! The master suite wing is private, quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is convenient to hiking trails and Hwy 154, but some traffic noise from the highway was pretty consistent. Overall, great place for a family vacation!!

We have stayed as a family of 5 in great hotels and vacation rentals in the US, Mexico, Canada, Portugal and France and this is one of our favorite vacation experiences ever. We often stay in Relais & Châteaux properties. The photos give a sense of the many special places with thoughtfully created connections to natural beauty. We have been coming to Santa Barbara for many years and this is now our favorite place to eat. This is one of my favorite places in the world to read a book in the morning with a cup of coffee. The kitchen is amazing with every thing you need to take advantage of the farmers markets. The location is convenient to everything with a great hike from your door. Nancy is an exceptional host. We stayed here last summer as well and hope to come again many times.

Despite the crazy storm, we had a fantastic time.

This property is very special. The house and grounds are wonderful and the views are gorgeous. The house worked really well for us, was very comfortable and we highly recommend it. Hosts were gracious, generous and easy to communicate with at any time.

Exceeding expectations

Spectacularly beautiful, serene and luxurious. This home exceeded all expectations. Every facet of our stay was very well thought out from the initial welcome basket to the fine linens and toiletries. It made you feel like you were in a 5 star resort while being in complete privacy. The owners were very attentive to our every need, concierge service. We look forward to staying again soon.

Magnificent Property With All Amenities

We came to Santa Barbara from the east coast as a family of six adults. The house suited us perfectly, with unique architecture, captivating views, infinity pool, and a kitchen suited for a gourmet chef. The location was ideal, with easy access to downtown, groceries, beaches, golf, hiking, and dining. You can also reach the vineyards in approximately 30 minutes. Nancy and Geoff were the consummate hosts, and we recommend this property to all seeking a fantastic Santa Barbara experience.

Exceptional

Everything about this property is outstanding. The beauty of the natural surroundings is rivaled only by the exquisite interior design and decor. The host could not be more responsive or accommodating. The location is both remote and easily accessible to everything, the perfect combination. We’ve had many favorable VRBO experiences but this by far was the best. The only thing we’d share is that the home and appliances are somewhat dated so as long as you’re not expecting brand new you will absolutely adore your experience there

Beautiful home, beautiful location above Santa Barbara

Wow. This is a serene setting. Spacious. Airy. Tons of windows with stunning views of the ocean. Comfortable and beautifully kept. Fascinating artwork, exquisitely displayed. A grand kitchen wonderfully equipped. Perhaps best of all, an attentive host eager to offer copious tips to customize a perfect visit for us. We had a great time, and we will surely return.

Truly One of a Kind

We had an awesome week of celebrations - two Birthdays, Father’s Day, & a UCSB Graduation — all shared in this amazing home! The house is even more incredible and one of a kind than the photos show! We LOVED every second of our time in it! Both the indoor & outdoor spaces are fantastic! We used all of it - from cooking & eating to swimming & walking around the property. It is a perfect space made exceptional by Nancy & Geoff! From the kitchen to the great room, from the master bedroom & bath to the screened sunroom, from the TV cozy nook to the two smaller bedrooms. The walls of glass & sliding doors throughout are perfect! The details and extra touches were so welcoming & wonderful...throw blankets, candles, pool towels, comfy outdoor furniture, lighting, unbelievable art, and the sweetest Happy Birthday banner (So thoughtful! Thank you!!). Our days were full of sunshine, and the night sky shined bright with so many stars! It is truly one happy home that I hope we are able to share again in the future. Thank you so much for making our week extra special. We LOVED our family time here!
