Come and relax at our wonderful beachfront condo at Emerald Skye in Orange Beach, Alabama.



The Space:

5th Floor Beachfront Condo at Emerald Skye, direct beach front on the Gulf of Mexico in Orange Beach, AL. Sleeps: 2-6; Beds: 1 King in Master bedroom, hallway bunk beds, and 1 queen sleeper sofa in living room. Interior Appointments: Fully equipped kitchen, a 55" Smartv in the living room and a 40" TV in the bedroom, DVD player, washer and dryer, Free wireless internet access, gulf front balcony accessible via living room, high-end cotton linens. This unit is decorated with beautiful paintings from a local artist. Please email if you'd like more information on how to reach the artist and see their full portfolio.



Complex Amenities: Outdoor Pool  (heated 10/1-11/31 & March) and BBQ area.



Only 1 car may park at the complex. These are strict HOA rules. Please note the price also includes the parking fee at Clearwater. If you have a second car, you must park at a different public location.

Overall we had a positive stay. Condo was very clean, it had a very cute beach theme and we loved the colors on the walls. The kitchen was well stocked. My only complaint and it is very minor was the skillets are old and need to be replaced. Other than that the view from the balcony was awesome. The ac was awesome and the water pressure in the shower was awesome as well. The elevator didn’t work one evening (but that happens from time to time). The good news is that it was fixed early the next morning. When I pulled up to the emerald sky I was very skeptical because the resort is much smaller than their neighbors, but quickly went away once we got inside the condo. This condo was very affordable for the area and the short walk to the beach made it even better. We plan to stay at Emerald Sky suite 52 on our next visit.

I really don't know how rate this property. The place was cute and cozy, however it seriously needed to be updated and the furniture was really dirty, popcorn ceilings, old cabinets and stove. The top of the range hood was all greasy with bugs stuck to it. The air-conditioner in the master bedroom smelled like someone peed in the unit. The smell was so bad we couldn't even sleep in the masterbedroom. The property manager did have a guy come out and try to clean it but then it stank of pee and chemicals. It just made our stay very unpleasant. It was in a great location and a great view of the beach. They did give us a break on the price because of our bad experience. Hopefully after my complaints they will fix the air-conditioner. If they do the place would have been ok.

5th floor overlooking the ocean. The sound of ocean waves, even from indoors was magical. Darling condo had everything you need and more. We loved the location. We always stayed in Gulf Shores however we wanted to try Orange Beach. It was less crowded and we really really enjoyed it lots to do and bonus. ALABAMA BEACH VACATION RENTAL highly recommend they were amazing!

Time away

First time to Orange Beach. We really enjoyed our stay and the beach was beautiful. Enjoyed watching the dolphins from our balcony each morning and afternoon. We will definitely be back.

Inside condo

Very nice...furniture not very easy to get in and out of for an elderly person. Overall we were very pleased with everything!

Review

The property was very clean and anything we wanted to do was very close by, some within walking distance. The price was very reasonable. I was disappointed that the pier pictured was only accessible by visitors of Four Seasons next door.

LOVED location

Condo was nice! Clean! Loved the private balcony!! Loved going straight to room without check in desk. Loved being beside the pier. If I had to complain it would be the TVs. & elevator. Very nice quiet property. Would stay again for sure!!

Great Stay

We had never stayed at such a small condo complex but really enjoyed the low density with only 35 units in the entire complex. There was no waiting on elevators, the beach was not crowded and everything was great. The condo was just enough. Nothing fancy but gets you to the beach with a comfortable stay. It was clean and everything was as described on the listing This is a great condo, especially for the price. We will stay again!!

Awesome

Cute area parking is small. I don’t know if I would of been able to put 6 adults in the area. But it was enough for me n my 2 teenagers. But overall a great little place to get away for a couple of days.

Beautiful and Perfect location

Happy with our stay. Overlooked the beach. Walked out of the room straight to the beach and ocean. Room was what i expected. The bunk beds were a little uncomfortable and small for my 11 year old twins but not really a big deal. The pull out couch was comfortable and so was the bed in the bedroom. The pool was small but we also never used it since the ocean was right there. Location was close to several food places and the publix for groceries. If you are looking to spend most of your time and the beach I would recommend this place.

Convenient. Great property management team

While this unit is slightly outdated it was super clean and convenient to everything. Literally an elevator ride to the beach which is great. When we arrived we noticed our fridge wasn’t working and while the management could not do anything for us that evening they did work to get us a fridge the next day and they also comped some of our stay for the inconvenience. My only complaint on the entire place is the pool size and location. It’s pretty small and also has zero view. It’s essentially in front of the parking lot. Overall though this was a pretty great place!
