We had some issues with the host involving our last minute weekend reservation through VRBO, even though we had been given the check in code and paid in full they said our stay was not confirmed. There was no packet or mandatory parking pass left for us. However once that was resolved the stay was good, very near the ocean, clean and comfortable beds, good AC and pretty quiet. Would have appreciated a lamp in the second bedroom and room darkening or heavier curtains in the bedrooms and some type of privacy shade at the balcony glass doors. There are elevators and no steps that must be navigated. Plenty of good restaurants around, especially on the Marsh Walk. The area does not offer public transportation so far as we could see.

Easy summer vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was lovely to call and make a reservation, friendly on telephone: on arrival I liked the outdoor window key pickup and drop off. Unit was awesome: as described a newly renovated condo, we were updated throughout the trip planning.

Sea Master 105

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice. However, when we arrived to pick up the keys on Saturday we were told that there was problems with the A/C unit working properly and even though it was working at this time the unit was being replaced on Thursday and we would have to be available to open up for the workers to change it out which would take 4-5 hours. My problem is that if they knew this before we arrived they should have put us in another unit to begin with so that we didn't have to worry about being available and giving up a day of our vacation and taking a chance on not having the air work properly during our stay. Which the air unit froze up the first night and we had to call for a repairman to come out on Sunday evening which ended up taking from 6-10 to get everything taken care of and was told that it should be ok until Thursday but if not call back. The condo itself was very nice and we loved the balcony (even though it was side view it felt like oceanfront because of the angle). We were just disappointed because Garden City Realty should have at least offered us another condo to stay in since they knew the unit we paid good money for was having issues with the A/C unit before we arrived.

Great view of beach and passage of storms to the west. Convenient on 1st floor, fewersteps to reach the beach. Elevator and laundry near our unit. Keypad entry was wonderful. Nice place for our family.

The closeness to the beach was very convenient. Our condo was very spacious and our kids loved the bunk beds. The only thing we didn’t like was the parking. We would stay there again though.

Great rental, good reality service but wrong time to go.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my 3rd time renting for sea master in garden city. It typically was a good family vacation spot. Lot of young families, kids etc. The last time we went it was senior trip week and about 150-200 teenagers invaded the beach, underage drinking, swearing, loud and obnoxious etc. So I would advise not to go first week in June but I am not sure when the teens won't be there during the summer.

We would definitely rent again. We would like to see more kitchen items. We like to eat in and could have used more pots and pans. We were disappointed with the delay and process of getting into the condo. We understand there are currently delays for everything now a day. But, we were still expected to be out in time.

Good, not great.

Reviewer Comments: Rental property was clean, didn't really have the honor system some properties have where occupants refill basic necessities like trash bags and paper towels and such. Biggest gripe was no early check-in and by early I mean like a half hour, instead we were a half hour late to check-in. Travelled with 3 kids and ended up early after traveling 11 hours, but 330 room wasn't ready. Check in was 4 and ended up checking in at 430. Also have pickup windows to check-in which was odd. But I am basing my experience off when I used Dunes reality where I walked in and walked out with keys and a beach ball.

Only complaint was no lamps by the bed in master bedroom. Not good for people who read in bed. Bought two cheapies at Wal-Mart but took them with us.

View from balcony is a combination of parking area and ocean view. The only negative is the full size bed in 2nd bedroom could be improved.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was an awesome place to stay . The view was basically ocean front and mere feet from the beach . The place was clean and maintained. Only two minor complaints. The patio furniture is incredibly uncomfortable to sit in for any period of time. The kitchen is lacking on cookware. We only had one small skillet and even it had rust on the inside . That being said , I would most definitely recommend this unit . The location, view, and cleanliness were great! They also had a security guard walking around a night which was an added comfort.

Great condo but...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room itself is great. The problem we had with our stay is the noise coming from the other vacationers. It was very hard to fall asleep at night because of all the NOISE-people running through the halls and people having a party at the pool. Great condo, great access to beach, and clean pool, just the noise.
