I am so very sorry that your time there was not all it was hoped to be, and have reached out to our cleaning crew to let them know of your comments. We are passionate about providing an exceptional experience for our guests, and as you can imagine, are concerned about our inability to provide that for you. Like most of the home owners on the lake, we work with a company to keep the bugs and such out of our home, and we have contacted them as well. Once again, we do thank you for your reservation and your comments. It is unfortunate that the group was struck with an illness during your vacation. Edward, Thank you for taking a moment to review the property. We appreciate all of the feedback and apologize for anything that was not up to your expectations. Regarding the steps - we were absolutely not aware of any danger and have people that would have tended to them very quickly had we known. Note that all damaged steps have been repaired and/or replaced as of 7/31/22. We continue to work hard to maintain the property and prevent any dangerous situations. I also try to be transparent about the roads and driveway. I can say that I have not had any guests in the four years we have been here that have had any driveway struggles. Again, we so appreciate you staying with us and will continue to work hard to bring a five star experience to all of our guests.
