Wonderful place!

Our family had an amazing time staying at this wonderful place. The skyloft condo is fitted with everything including a spacious kitchen, spectacular views, and the amenities are quite unique including the record player/collection, guitar, bicycles, beach gear and workout area. We will definitely stay here again!

Family time in San Diego

Amazing stay!

We loved this property. It was very clean and well stocked. The location was perfect, we walked down to Grandview beach every day. Lovely neighborhood. The beach chairs, surf boards, boogie boards, etc. were great for our older kids. The hosts were very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfection!

This property is absolutely perfect...very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked, great quality linens, and comfortable! We stayed 3 nights and because the apartment was so comfortable and had beautiful views, we ended up staying in and cooking. We had beautiful sunsets and even saw the green flash twice! I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place

The SkyLoft is beautiful and the sunset views are amazing. Checking in and out was seamless and we received VIP service from Property Manager - Jillian. While we were there, she checked in on us, quickly answered random questions, and even priority returned a jacket we left in the closet . The weather was touch and go and we were so pleased to be in such a beautiful place when it was cold and grey.

We are a local Carlsbad family that were In need of a place to stay last minute for one week while our house was under construction after having a flood while we were out of town. Skyloft was a beautiful getaway near the ocean which is exactly what we needed during this time. It was super clean and fully stocked with everything I needed to make dinner for a family five and had breathtaking sunsets! Check in and check out with Jillian was a breeze. We would definitely consider renting again for a family staycation!

IMPECCABLE!!!

Would give 100 stars if I could! I have stayed at several VRBO type properties, and this was by far the best experience I have ever had! The owners were extremely helpful, the property was pristine as far as accommodations and cleanliness, and everything was stocked and ready for all our needs! We will be back again to enjoy this wonderful property! Absolutely perfect in every way!!! Thank you, Steve and Laura, for such a flawless experience!

Outstanding home in a perfect beachfront locatiom

We felt right at home for our entire stay. Watched spectacular sunsets from the balacony nightly. The home is a stones throw away from a beautiful public beach. Impeccably decorated and furnished. King size beds were extremely comfortable and the home comes with top of the line appliances including an oversized washer and dryer. Ample supplies of bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, surf boards and boogie boards are readily accessible. The home is beautifully decorated and has a very homey feel. I can’t recommend this property strongly enough.

Amazing!!!

Wow! This may be the best rental we’ve stayed in and Steve and Laura the most hospitable owners. The condos were brand new and immaculate, the sunset views were stunning and the location just steps from surf. It’s so beautifully designed and so comfortable that you don’t even need to leave the living room to relax and enjoy your vacation. We loved using the gym in the morning and riding the beach cruisers to the nearby coffee shops and restaurants. The on-site manager Jillian was professional and warm and welcoming all at the same time, and was extremely helpful from the moment we booked. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful Beach Apartment

This is the second time we stayed at this property. We love the area, the closeness to the beach, the quiet street, the beautiful sunsets, and being able to walk everywhere including to nearby restaurants. The property is immaculately clean and completely updated. There were bikes, beach chairs, etc. to use if we needed. Jillian is very easy to work with and if we did have any concerns, she addressed them quickly. She included a beautiful gift basket with some nice wine and snacks for our arrival! We hope to come back again!!

This house was amazing with amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and beach access 500 feet a way

This was a perfect house for our family of four. My wife and I and our two girls 14 and 9. The house was set up perfectly and ready to be used right when we walked in the door. We bought food at the store and cooked dinner most night while over looking the Pacific Ocean. The girls used the boogie boards each day and my oldest and I rode bikes some mornings. The beach access is right down the street and easy to get to. The beach itself was perfect. It kept our family entertained each day for hours. The town is such a great little place to visit. I would recommend this rental for any and all families. It was a great experience to stay in this house.

Awesome beach trip

We stayed in the Grandview Lofts for a long weekend over Spring Break and had such a fantastic time! The condo was so comfortable and beachy-chic, with gorgeous views of the ocean from the outdoor patio. The high-end welcoming touches were amazing - a basket with wine, cheese, coffee and healthy snacks and even a Polaroid camera to use, welcomed us as we opened the door, before we were swept away by the breathtaking views of the Pacific. The loft has so many amenities - bike cruisers to ride to donuts or dinner, a workout space with weights/yoga mats, Wavestorms, boogie boards, chairs/umbrellas, and even great games and a record player for fun family hangouts. We slept so well with the sounds of the ocean in super comfy beds. We will definitely stay at the lofts again and I highly recommend it. Jillian was super responsive to anything we needed. Don't look anywhere else.

SPECIAL PLACE

SPECIAL is the word that comes to mind when I think of a way to describe our experience while staying at 1631 Neptune! The House is beautiful and has everything you will ever need! The View is incredible! The location is perfect! The manager Jillian and the two owners Steve and Laura are incredible people. From the beach cruiser bikes we road to local restaurants, surf shops and beaches along the “island like” rarely traveled road too the bbq dinners we shared on the deck, the local feel was always the vibe. The house interior is beautiful with cozy couches , incredible kitchen and dining area with head tall windows and sliding doors that surround the front room so you are always surrounded by the incredible view. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless and quiet. We look forward to return again and again . Our family of 4 with two teenagers will be forever grateful for this Very SPECIAL place ! Thank You ! The Hunt Family 😃

Excellent Property in an Excellent Location!

Our family, 2 adults & 3 children, loved this property and highly recommend it! HIGHLIGHTS: *Location It's location in Encinitas is excellent and easy walking distance to the beach (there are quite a few stairs to contend with getting down to the beach but that was of no issue to us). We were also able to easily walk to several restaurants. The view of the ocean was fabulous and we watched the sunset off the balcony almost every night. *Amenities This was the best stocked rental house we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot. They had great kitchen items, numerous towels/blankets, and nice ocean gear like chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The only minor request I would make is to have some small and large plastic cups - these are helpful for kids or making smoothies and other drinks. Otherwise the house amenities were fabulous. *Service The other great thing about this house that most other rental properties we have stayed in have not had is a contact person living in a separate area on the property. This was so super handy to have when we had questions or an issue (ie. the power in the area went out for a short while). We knew we could always get in touch with her when we needed something and she was very responsive and helpful. The only other minor recommendation I have (only because we are sensitive) is to use fragrance free laundry detergents. Several people in our family don't do that well with fragrances. It's not that it was strong it's just that we are pretty sensitive. Overall, we highly, highly recommend this property! Enjoy your stay!

We grew up as family friends in the Pacific Northwest, and both relocated to sunny Southern California on our own in the '80s - Laura to Newport Beach, and Steve to the Carlsbad area. In 1994, on a snowboarding trip to Oregon with mutual friends, we renewed our friendship and were married on the La Jolla shores the following year. We have lived and worked in the Encinitas area ever since – we absolutely love the weather, the beaches, the community vibe, and the location just doesn’t get much better. We love to cook, travel, meet people, and create & share new places with others.
