Could not ask for a better getaway. We celebrated our 60th anniversary here, overlooking Swami's Beach, with our children and grandchildren. The place is extremely well-stocked. Two of our grandkids learned to surf as we watched from the deck. You can look around the area but you are not going to find anything better than this!

Amazing location! The house is ocean front, sitting a top the bluff with the most amazing view. Stairs down to the beach are just a short walk up the street. Matt had a garage full of beach toys, chairs and even bikes that we were allowed to use. Made packing so much easier. We had an amazing time!

Fabulous house

Location is amazing! Close to shopping and restaurants. Beach is beautiful with tide pools and scenic walks.House had everything needed and more. Owner is fast to Respond and very kind.definitely a must stay! Beds were comfortable too

It is the perfect Cape Cod home

The owner, Matt, greeted us at the house and was so helpful in giving us pointers on the house and places to visit and eat. The layout of the house was perfect for being all together as well as having space to enjoy quiet time. We loved Encinitas small town feel and how kind everyone was. The only thing that I would add is the secondary bedroom upstairs needs a fan for air circulation. We definitely will go back!

Christmas on the Beach!

Swamis was the best! Booked this for the week of Christmas for my family and extended family and it was magicalā€¦ dolphins and seals frolicking in the waves beyond the deck and lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Matt was super welcoming and showed us all the tricks with the home. It was well stocked with all that was required for the beach and beyond. I want to tell everyone about our stay but Iā€™m afraid it will increase demand and wonā€™t be available for me!

AMAZING SWAMIS BEACH HOUSE!

absolutely fantastic house - right on the ocean - decks everywhere - views from every room! host was great! he checked to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great tips on where to go /what to see. house impeccably stocked with everything. we are so sad to leave! but will definitely be coming back to stay here again !

Perfect family vacation

7 of us, 23 to 87, thoroughly enjoyed our week together; the spacious house gave us each our comfy nest for sleeping. Matt was immediately responsive to any questions. The view is unsurpassed--coastline, waves & surfers. The area offered us easy access to groceries and restaurants and the drive to San Diego to activities and airport was only 1/2 hr. Memories are made of this!

Amazing views with everything you need... right on Pacific Ocean:)

The Owner, Matt Perkins, was great and an excellent host. He has everything you need to enjoy staying right above the beach. Short walk to stairs, we carried his boogey boards, chairs and umbrellas down to Swamiā€™s beach below. None of us were brave enough to try his surf boardsā€¦

Perfect Location

We stayed here for five days with friends and it was perfect. The house overlooks the ocean and is a one minute walk to the beach access. The beach is public but enclosed by rocks so is smaller and much less crowded. We were there over the 4th and while we saw other beaches that were packed ours never was. Itā€™s a ten ish minute walk to the Main Street of Encinitas with shops and restaurants and easy access to the buses and rail. There was plenty of space for our group and you canā€™t beat the sound of the waves crashing all day and night. A very relaxing vacation for us all and Matt was absolutely wonderful. We canā€™t wait to go back!

LOVED every Minute!

You canā€™t beat this location overlooking cliffs and ocean, with a short walk to beach access and the town shopping. The sleeping breeze was spectacular, homey cozy decor, interesting room layout for family to spread out! Kitchen was adequate for Thanksgiving dinner. The showers were powerfull!! If you are a sanitation freak you will appreciate the scented sheets etc. Lits of Puzzles games etc. It was very hard to leave this place.

Family Renunion

Joy personified! What a gorgeous place to love and live with family - to hear the ocean waves as you sleep and wake - to feel the clear clean ocean air on your face like medicine to your lungs and a balm to your mind. Perfect place for a large family - all the accouterments needed to prepare meals (except for cookie sheets) and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other - games at the big round table - comfortable beds and linens - plenty of towels for the bath and beach - any toy or beach accessory you want or need - and a short walk to cute town of Encinitas and close enough to San Diego to enjoy the zoo and the parks or museums at Balboa Park. Highly recommend.

Perfect Family Getaway

This beach house was exactly what our multigenerational family needed for a fun-filled vacation. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the convenient access to the beach just steps away from the front door. The house itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The grandparents enjoyed sunsets on the ocean view patio, while the teens in our group particularly loved the surf-themed decor and the easy access to some of the best surf breaks in the area. Meanwhile, the younger kids had a blast playing in the sand and splashing in the waves. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook family meals, and we enjoyed many evenings gathered around the dining table playing games and enjoying home cooked meals. The town is quick walk north of the home and had everything you could want from the fresh made donuts at Broad Street, killer coffee at Surfdog's Java Hut, and amazing ice cream at JoJo's Ice Cream. Plenty of mom and pop shopping, surf shops, and great restaurants for nights out. Matt, the owner is amazing and super chill too! Can't wait to go back soon!

The Oceanfront home is perfect! Great amount of space, tons of supplies for home or beach and really comfortable beds and living area furniture. The view from the deck is fantastic and walking to town was a breeze. Encinitas has lots of cute shops and restaurants and Cardiff is just a mile walk south with more restaurants. We're already planning our return!

Incredible View

My family enjoyed a wonderful summer vacation . We had our 2 granddaughters and 4 adult children. Everyone loved the spacious and well equipped home. Matt was always available for any questions. The town of Encinitas is very family friendly and has lots of great dining spots.

Glorious Oceanfront Encinitas

What a wonderful, family friendly home overlooking Swami's Beach in Encinitas. The home was very comfortable and well equipped for our entire family of 10 ranging in age from infant to 75 years. Glorious unobstructed views down to the beach and out to the horizon with beautiful sunsets. We spotted pods of dolphin, flocks of pelican, and resident red-tail hawk and osprey. Swami's is a short walk and stair climb down to the beach which is perfect for surfing, buggy-boarding, swimming, and lounging. The house provides ample sand chairs, umbrellas, buggy-boards, surf boards, coolers, etc. -- everything we needed and more. Downtown Encinitas is a short walk away and has a wide variety of good restaurants and shops. Our host Matt was very gracious and easy to communicate with. This is a 5-star property on a prime oceanfront location. Highly recommended!

Amazing beach house, gorgeous views, fabulous location!

One of our favorite rentals so far and we hope to return. Even more beautiful than pictures. Perfect location to walk to swamiā€™s surf break on a bluff above beautiful beach. Very close to Encinitas so ez walk to go into town. We loved home so much we only left for provisions and cooked all meals in well stocked kitchen and ate our meals on beautiful patio overlooking ocean. Matt, the owner, met us at check in, good communication and ez check in check out process. Super great beach house, great location! Will definitely be back!
