This is a completely renovated apartment, with one bedroom with a double bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower, a complete kitchenette, a living/dining room, free >100 Mbps Wi-Fi Internet and fiber TV. All rooms have windows and the living room has a balcony.



The apartment is located in the heart of Lisbon between Bairro Alto and Principe Real, a privileged location in the historic city centre close to Rossio/Baixa. Next, to it, you can find the stunning Mirador de São Pedro de Alcântara, a garden-terrace with a panoramic view of the city, Castle São Jorge and the river.



The Bairro Alto is known for its variety of theatres, museums, local shops (restaurants, bars, groceries, fado houses etc). Loved the location and walking access to everything without being right in the middle of Lisbon with all the other tourists. Communication with the owners was excellent and they were very helpful when i couldn't get in at first. I would like to have had wash cloths with the bathroom towel sets. While it was no issue for me and i am 5' 2" so not large, if you're at all big, the size of the bathroom would be uncomfortably small. I would also like a darker blind in the bedroom window as the covering there let too much light in. With that said, the apt had everything one could want and would fit two people well. I would definitely come here again.

Central Location

Good location one street off the main busy street in bairro alto. Listing was exactly like the pictures in all regards. Was surprisingly quiet for the area. You might want to bring your own blanket for the bed. Host was helpful to get us into the apartment when the code didn’t work.

I was very pleased with the apartment, which was small but well organised with a nice size sitting room. I enjoyed having the little balcony. The area is lively but the apartment is on a quiet street.

Great place!

Centrally located on a nice quiet street. You can walk all over Lisbon from here. Fun vibrant neighborhood with plenty of night life and good food. Highly recommended. Kitchen and laundry are great also. Kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook anything yourself.

Cute place in great area

The apartment was cute and is located in a great, safe area. But, the place could use a bit of refreshing to make it feel cleaner. For example, a random grey blanket covered the living room futon. This change alone could completely change the feel of the place. Overall, it serves its purpose for travelers as a Lisbon is a city where you’re out all day.

After a 10-day visit in mid-February, we decided that there is no better location to stay in Lisbon. The unit is close to good traditional and modern restaurants and bars, small grocery stores, public transportation, and is walkable to almost everywhere. The unit itself is well-equipped - comfortable bed, kitchen accessories and appliances, good WiFi, washing machine, plenty of hot water (at least for two people). It is located in an old building but is very modern inside. The street is quiet but is only two streets away from everything. And if you have a question - the host is very responsive. As an old building - the stairs are very steep, and spaces are small. It took us a day to find a place for everything (clothing, luggage) and the galley kitchen that attaches the front room and bedroom/bath is narrow. But once we settled in we were very comfortable. If you have mobility issues or are larger in stature, you may not be comfortable in this space.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood and fairly close to things, and the host was very communicative. The apartment was stocked with many essentials for a short stay.Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to a very strong and unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom that spread throughout the entire apartment when we arrived at night. The bedroom floors were also greasy/sticky, and the heater made loud noises throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep.Additionally, it was not clearly stated in the listing that this is a second-story apartment accessible only by steep, narrow stairs (20 steps), which may be important for some guests. While there were positives, these issues significantly impacted our stay.

As mentioned in the listing and property amenities, the apartment is located in the historic city center (Bairro Alto), in a traditional building without an elevator. This is typical of historic properties and part of the area’s unique character. Regarding the odor you mentioned, during periods of heavy rain and strong winds, it is unfortunately possible for temporary plumbing odors to occur, which can affect many buildings in the historic center. We truly appreciate the positive notes and all feedback, as it helps us continue to improve and maintain transparency for future guests.

Great Location

This apartment is located in a quiet street in the Bairro Alto Area. The apartment is small but has everything you need for a great stay in Lisbon. We will definitely recommend to all our friends and family.

Apartamento moderno

Hemos estado mi pareja y yo en este apartamento cuatro días en febrero y hemos salido muy contentos. La localización (sobre todo para gente joven) es inmejorable pues toda la fiesta y vida nocturna se hace en el Barrio Alto, pero justo la calle del apartamento es muy tranquila así que la fiesta no te impedirá dormir. El apartamento es luminoso, está bien amueblado y muy completo (secador de pelo, lavadora, hervidor, tele por cable, etc etc). Lo único que nos ha gustado un poco menos es el diseño del baño, pues se separa de la habitación solo con una cristal y no tiene puerta, por lo que a la hora de ir al baño se hace un poco incomodo y falta privacidad... Por otra parte las escaleras del edificio son muy empinadas así que no lo recomendaría a gente que tenga problemas de movilidad o a personas mayores. Por último decir que Filipa, la dueña del apartamento, fue muy amable en todo momento.

Cosy spot at Bairro Alto in Lisbon

Excellent cosy apartment in Bairro Alto in Lisbon. Right in the middle of one of the nicest areas in Lisbon, but in a quiet street. Very close to Principe Real an area with a great park for drinks in the evening and nice shopping and dinning. Welcome from the owners was very nice. Apartment was sharp clean, well equipped for daily activities, and was high speed wi-fi included. Top chioce, higly recommended! Lisbon is astonishing by the way!
