Revelstoke - Powder Village Retreat-A/C and Private Hot Tub

Amenities: Private outdoor hot tub, secure private garage for gear storage/smaller vehicles, parking for two vehicles, private outdoor patio, electric fireplace, heated bathroom floors, washer/dryer, additional basement gear storage, private entrance.

Condo Layout: Master bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a double bed. There are two full bathrooms.

** please note this condo has stair access**

Parking: There is designated parking for one regular sized vehicle in the private garage. There is also one spot outside. Large SUV's and Trucks will need to park in the outdoor spot or visitor parking which is available on a first come first serve basis, as garage clearance is approximately 7'3" in height, and 7'6" width. Trailer parking is strictly prohibited in the complex.

Bike/gear storage: There is a private garage which can be used to store gear, vehicle, or both (space permitting). The unit also has an allocated storage room in the basement of the complex which can be used to store bikes, skis/boards, boots, golf clubs, etc...

Welcome to Powder Village Retreat, a spacious, open concept condo in the Mackenzie Village complex complete with a private hot tub! Relax in comfort after an adventure-filled day in this spacious three-bedroom condo, only 3-minutes from the base of the world-class Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Built and outfitted with holiday guests in mind, perfect for groups, families, or a friends trip away. Fully equipped for cooking, dining, and entertaining, including a private patio with a two-person hot tub, an open concept living area, fireplace with smart tv, wifi, and a garage included.

The condo is well decorated with simple and neutral furniture. The main area is furnished with a large couch, television, and a dining room table. The beautiful, almost all-white kitchen has every state of the art appliance needed to make a home-cooked meal. The bedrooms are spacious and cozy, the first complete with a king bed, the second with a queen, and a double in the den. There are two full bathrooms with state of the art hardware and shower/baths.

The retreat’s amenities include a full kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher, a washer/ dryer, private hot tub, a hairdryer, WIFI, and garage parking.

Summer holiday

The condo was spacious. The kitchen was large and well stocked and the check in process was easy. The condo looked like the photos but it wasn't exactly as advertised. The condo is NOT 3 bedrooms. Its a 2 bedroom plus a den or storage room. The 3rd ' bedroom' has no windows or closets so its legally not a bedroom. My son slept in there and it was very warm and stuffy because there was zero air flow in the room. The AC in the condo is also a bit misleading. We arrived to 3 window air conditiioners that were attached by duct tape to the 3 windows in the entire unit. It did help make the condo stay cool but we could not open a single window in the entire unit for our entire stay so even if it was cool outside we could not get any fresh air into the unit. My husband went through a whole roll of duct tape because the seal kept coming off the window. The management was responsive and they sent someone over but they essentially iust re-taped the window again. The unit may have been better in the winter since the air conditioners wouldn't be there and the fake 3rd bedroom might be cooler but I wouldn't recommend the condo in the summer.

Summer vacation

The property was clean and spacious. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated and kept the unit cold. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub because it was incredibly hot outside during our stay. We also really appreciated having secure bike storage!

Property was clean, easy, and spacious! It’s also only 5 minutes away from the resort and town making it easy to get anywhere! Would recommend for those looking for a place to stay in Revelstoke!

Everything was lovely and clean. Appreciate the AC being on when we got there. Just wanted to let you know that we could not add jet dry to the dishwasher as it was stuck with soap. Tried but failed. Also would be nice to have Saran Wrap and tin foil around. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Close to Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Wonderful. Would stay again. Comfortable place. Well stocked kitchen. Heated bathroom floors but timer was off schedule so did not appreciate until last day. 3 bedroom plus one extra day bed in living room. Plenty of space. Towels galore. 2 person hot tub, not 4. Clean warm hot tub. Close drive to RMR. Garage too small for SUV or larger but assigned outdoor space.

New, clean but bright

Property is a unit in a new condo development which is the closest such property to the Revelstoke ski hill maybe 2-5 minutes away but too far to walk. We drove to the lot daily. Fine for four guys on a ski trip. There are three smallish bedrooms one with a bathroom and a second off the common hallway. Queens in each. There is a small cot/bed in the common room behind a couch which pulls out. There is a small garage below for equipment. Very clean. Modern decent kitchen with a nice espresso machine. The BIG problem with this condo is that there are no window treatments in the main room and very thin curtains in the two bedrooms with windows. Immediately outside are several extremely bright street lights. As a result, all of the rooms are extremely bright at night. Think bright enough to read by bright. We had difficulty sleeping as a result. In addition, there is no indirect lighting (eg lamps) inside so it was very bright with the overhead lights. Desperately needs some blackout blinds or curtains or something. A minor downside was the lack of any outdoor furniture for the porch and the lack of any hot tubs which several other units had.

Very Comfortable New Condo Super Close to RMR

Stayed for 3 nights beginning January 30, 2019, with a group of 4. The condo complex as a whole is new and so too for the unit. A short drive or walk to town and a mile to the base at RMR. Great location, in other words. No problems at all with the unit. The kitchen is well appointed, the open living and dining area are a great place to gather and socialize, and the bedrooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Our only knock, like others, is there are no blinds in the living and dining area, which created a slightly uncomfortable fish bowl affect at night. If that gets addressed 5 stars for sure.

Amazing location, beautiful property, comfy accommodations

What a great place! Cozy, great location, quiet and perfect for skiing. The boot / gear room is perfect and the kitchen had everything you need. We had a small issue with the garage when we were there and the rental agency was super helpful even after hours.

Great location, nice space. Great supply of towels and soap etc. We appreciated the laundry soap and good supply of paper products. Bedding was surperior. Suzi the property manager was very helpful. Complex is very short drive to mountain resort. This unit desperately needs window coverings in the main room and could use better blinds in the master bedroom. Dining table and chairs are not comfortable and could be updated. A few additional accessory tables and a little more wall art would be nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

very nicely appointed, clean and new!

We stayed at the property for 4 days to enjoy some skiing. The property was very close to the resort, nicely appointed, clean, new and very nice. The only thing that I might suggest is some window treatments for the living room as there are a lot of windows and while sitting in there it feels a bit like a fish bowl as it's in view of everyone with not a ton of privacy. It's a small details, but would be worth the investment. Overall the property was fantastic.
