It was very clean, exactly as described and well-cared for. The view was almost magical it was so beautiful. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful home, we stayed a week and hardly left the property (and didnt want to either). Our family caught several fish, had dolphins come daily within feet of the property, and even had a large manatee swing by. We enjoyed the fishing poles and kayaks (with child and adult life vests), the games and grill. Everything was provided. We would stay here again.

Beautiful spot

The place was spotless when we checked in, beautiful views from every location in the house. Enjoyed watching the dolphins and birds and kayaking with the Manatees. The owner provided great recommendations for sightseeing and dining out. We also enjoyed playing all the games in the basement.

Fabulous Views

Gorgeous views from every level. There were 5 adults for our stay and we all had plenty of room. We saw dolphins every day and enjoyed the kayaks.

Great Visit

We had a great visit during June 2023. The house has everything we could have needed right there and the views from the home are simply amazing. The property owners were easily accessible if needed and Ray the caretaker was just down the road if we needed anything. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Relaxation Week

Great property on a quiet dead end road. The views are amazing, abundant bird watching. We did ok on fishing caught enough for a dinner for 6 of us. Enjoyed kayaking direct from the property. We saw several dolphins, we even saw a couple of manatees and a sea turtle at the end of July! Great towns nearby if you want to get out.

Great location and beautiful views!

This is an amazing property. Loved waking up each morning to crystal clear water all around. Saw dolphins, manatees, red fish, snook and all sorts of sea birds. Kayaking at nearby Weeki Wachee river a must. Unit is very well equipped and immaculate. Hosts were extremely responsive and friendly.

Great week in peace.

We were very happy with the whole process. Jeremy was absolutely amazing to work with. He provided a ton of information about the property and the area. Their hospitality is second to none. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed seeing wildlife such as fish, crabs, dolphins, stingrays, and much more every day. The property is quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently located near Walmart, restaurants, etc. We found the house to be well stocked with necessities. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone and our family will likely be back.

Amazing Stay with spectacular views

Location Location Location. Property offers 270 degrees of sensational views of the Gulf of Mexico. We saw many dolphins, fish, sting rays and birds. House is equipped nicely with a pool table, ping pong table and a multi arcade game for entertainment. For water activities, some amenities that were included with the house were kayaks, a canoe, and some water floats. Some fishing rods were provided for a great fishing experience. Everything was nice and neat!

A dreamy escape

This location far exceeded our expectations. Despite cool temperatures, we enjoyed every minute of our vacation in this beautiful rental. This home was well stocked with everything we could possibly need for our family of 4. Plenty of places to gather and enough spots to steal some solitude. Location is convenient for grocery stores and takeout. Delivery service works here. The floating dock was missing due to the storm, so water shoes for kayak launching were essential. Location was idyllic with few people, abundant avian and aquatic life. Every room has an incredible view, including game room. Thank you for a memorable trip.

Perfect vacation home

This was our first VRBO experience and what a perfect way to start. The house was amazing and the Hosts are wonderful. The only bad thing I can say about this property is that you never want to leave…ever. It was hard to go sightseeing or go to the beaches, All we wanted to do is stay on the property. It’s more like being on a houseboat than a house. We were visited daily by dolphins, all kinds of birds, wildlife, and sea creatures. it was our son’s first visit to the Gulf and it was a magical, wonderful time. We will definitely be back! The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Jeremy gave us a great orientation to the house and the community. From Sunrises to sunsets, sunshine, and storms this is a perfect getaway spot. This home will always have a special place in our hearts.

Gorgeous Retreat on the Gulf

This house is spectacular! My husband and I vacationed here for a week in early January,. The location is literally right on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and there are 180+ degree views of the Gulf from every room in the house. The neighborhood is quiet and off the beaten path. It's a bird lovers' paradise--especially in the mornings when the tide was low and all variety of water birds gathered for breakfast. The house itself is very comfortable. The kitchen is especially well equipped. Inside the house, the only way to go up and down between the different floors is by elevator. There are stairs only on the outside of the house. That said, the elevator worked like a charm. Overall this is a magical place and we'd love to stay here again.

Paradise

This is the best home I have found on VBRO. The pictures do not accurately show how exceptional this home is. The moment you get here you can feel yourself start to relax. Everyday there is something new to discover. We watched dolphins play and feed every day. Manatees swim by. All types of birds, sea turtles, and even watched a raccoon swimming around looking for clams. If you are lucky you might see a storm sweep in. With all the windows, the views are endless. I could go on and on. We are already planning to come back next year. The caretaker, Ray, was great. He answered all questions and kept our outside trash emptied. The bottom level with the pool table and ping pong table was great since we had 4 teenagers with us. Lots of room for everyone . We also visited Tarpon Springs, Weeki Wachee and Chassahowitzka River while we were there. All cool places and short drive from the property. Also lots of great pizza places, especially Pizza Village:) Can’t wait to come back next year!

Best Vacation Rental We've Had!

Communication with the owners were fantastic. Ray, AKA The Mayor was helpful, friendly and checked in on us to see if we needed anything from time to time. We enjoyed him so much we invited him to dinner. When I rent a vacation property I want comfort. Comfortable beds. Good linens. Good bathroom towels. This place had all that and more. AC kept the place at a perfect temperature in the Florida heat. The kitchen was well stocked with almost everything I needed. The grill had plenty of gas. Ample supply of dinnerware, plates and silverware. The views and visitors were amazing. Dolphins every day. Sometimes up to 4 out in the bay. Manatees daily too! Several pods came through. One group decided to follow my father in law around while he was snorkeling off the point. Birds galore. One even stole our bait fish. Neighbors are friendly too! Boaters all waived as they passed. It was truly relaxing. Best part of the house was how private it is. No one to the right, left or front of you. As of right now the home next door is vacant too! The home is insulated very well. When I headed to bed early, I could not hear anyone talking or playing board games. We will be back again next year.

One of a Kind

We had a fantastic family trip at this amazing home on the water over Halloween. There were 5 adults in our group. We loved that there were so many areas on the property to come together, but also areas to sit quietly and relax. It truly had everything we needed and was very inviting from the moment we walked in. Communication with the owner was great and Ray stopped in occasionally to check on us, but we never needed a thing! Everything in the house functions as it should, the elevator makes carrying in groceries and luggage a breeze. Our 20 something kids took the kayaks out daily and had a blast. We also enjoyed the rec room and the board games that were available. We had a friendly, but slightly competitive game of Clue :) When the tide goes out, the variety of birds coming in to feed is incredible. We saw so much wild life from the deck and the kayaks, but the highlight was the daily visits from the dolphins. We loved everything about the house! We also enjoyed the laid back feel of the area. There were plenty of restaurants within a 15 min easy drive. We enjoyed the food at the Lei Lo and Sam’s Beach Bar. We took a trip to Tarpon Springs and had a great day shopping at the Sponge Docks followed by a fabulous Greek meal. Just a few minutes away is a preserve with nice walking trails…which we followed up with nachos and drinks at the Drunken Mullet! And if you don’t feel like cooking, door dash had no problem find the house. Highly recommended!

Perfect house for nature lovers

Had a great time staying at this wonderful house in a great location. Had manatees next to the house the second day we were there. Saw dolphins almost every day. Saw tons of birds. Great location to Kayak from. We brought our kayaks and launched near the garage. The house itself had almost everything we could want. Views were fantastic. Elevator made getting luggage and groceries to the upper floors easy. Kitchen and bathrooms were perfect. We played video games some nights. Always talked about using the ping pong and pool tables but spent too much time outside. Hard to stay inside when the weather is wonderful. Ray, the local caretaker, was very helpful. I only have 2 complaints and I wouldn't really call them complaints because it didn't affect us. First is that the one bed is a little high and hard to get into. Second there isn't really enough room for 6 people to relax in the living room. There is a couch for 3 and an oversized chair. There were only 4 of us so not a big deal. The one night when we wanted to spread out we brought in one of the deck chairs. The living room is a great size and could hold another sofa. This house has every thing. When you are at the house you feel like you are in the middle of no where. Walmart and other stores are only 10 minutes away. Weeki Wachee State Park is worth a visit. See the mermaids. If you want a sandy beach we went to Pine Island Park. I would gladly recommend this house to everyone that wants to get away and enjoy the gulf. Now if you want to walk to a sandy beach, lots of people and walking to bars - then this is not the place for you. This is a fantastic house that feels remote. Hope to come back again one day.

Simply Stunning!

Wow! This house and it’s location are simply stunning! From the daily dolphin visits so close you feel like you can reach out and touch them to multiple species of fish and birds and even the occasional manatee you will quickly understand why this area is called Florida’s Nature coast. The sunsets alone are reasons to stay here! The location is secluded/private yet close enough for easy access to shopping. We loved the fresh, natural cottage furnishings of the great room and bed rooms. They compliment the million dollar views (out every window!) and make this home truly comfortable. The kitchen is first class as well. Whether we needed a large frying pan, electric griddle, brownie pan or even a muffin tin this kitchen lacked nothing. In addition to the fully stocked kitchen there is also a very nice gas grill outside on the back patio. Our family, including high school senior triplets enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the warm Florida sun, fishing, canoeing, and watching the dolphins/wildlife. Having the property to ourselves meant we didn’t have to fight over lounge chairs like you do at a community pool (although the triplets still did). The competitive nature of siblings meant the ping pong table got a good workout too. We had fun with the arcade games also however none of us could get near to the high scores that were set by Ken (the owner?). We are usually ready to head home after a week. Not so at this home. None of us wanted to leave. I can’t believe how fast the past week went by. Best vacation by far. The morning of our departure I witnessed a bald eagle swoop down and catch a fish as I was pouring myself a cup of coffee in the kitchen. Incredible! This amazing property was equaled by the service. The owners are very accommodating and easily available. And then there’s Ray. Ray lives down the street and manages the property. Ray is a valuable asset and a true ambassador to the property and community of Aripeka. A few hours after arriving our SUV developed a serious problem which made it unable to be driven. Ray drove me in his vehicle to help get the parts and assistance I needed to get it repaired. He also enlisted a couple of other neighbors who live on the street to help with the repair and followed up with me the next day to confirm it was fixed. I can’t think of any property we have rented in the past that would have had someone help me the way Ray did. Thank you Ken, Jeremy, and Ray! We hope to make it back next year

Home Run!

To say this vacation property exceeded all of our expectations is an understatement. The view alone was worth it! The property was beautifully appointed and was spacious that we could all spread out and enjoy some solitude. We didn't really need to book any excursions as the fishing, canoe, kayaks, game room and relaxing on the deck occupied just about every moment we were there. We saw so many dolphins we lost count. On the first day alone we were visited by a manatee, rays, a small shark, and dolphins. Spotted a sea turtle on the second day while kayaking, as well as a flock of Rosette Spoonbills just around the corner of the next key. If you are considering whether or not this property will be perfect for your next vacation, I assure you the answer is yes!

This vacation home was beautiful drom the inside out! The location was peaceful and quite. Got to Kayak, swim, and fish everyday. You see the dolphins, manatees and stingrays daily. Will be returning for another family trip. Thank you for a great experience!

Perfect vacation!!!

Our family of five did not want to leave this property!! From the moment we stepped out of the car, we were immediately immersed in nature and couldn’t wait to unpack. Within an hour of arriving, they were fishing and swimming in the water! The property itself is the very best location for a coastal vacation. We never wanted to go to sleep because there was so much to do and see all hours of the day. We brought inflatable paddle boards to add to the kayaks and canoe provided and all five of us were able to go out on the water - we saw manatee, dolphins, sea turtles, many rays and cool fish. At times the water is like glass, typically very small ripples or waves which was perfect for our SUPs and the kayaks. My kids are 11,15 and 18 and they discarded all of the sightseeing options we had planned in favor of staying at the property- they spent all day outside, making the most of how the changing tide levels brought new adventures. Together we explored the small inlets, shelled, explored the crabs in the mangroves and exposed sand and loved seeing dolphin swim along the coasts at low tide and flip in the water right in front of our boats! We did take a few trips to area beaches which were beautiful and not far at all. We can’t say enough about having so much to explore right outside our house and then be able to drive to the beach- adults and kids were able to chose their own adventures, regardless of what others were doing and adults can supervise from any location outside- you can see sooooo far and the decks all allow you to see most of the property. Even eating lunch outside was awesome because you gaze out at the water and see sea birds, fish flipping and the other wildlife with only the occasional motor boat going by, no noises from any other houses. The house was super well equipped- we were lucky enough to catch, prepare and eat a 12 pound redfish caught right from our dock- that was an amazing experience! We used the grill often and found everything we needed in the kitchen. You can truly pack clothes, water shoes and suntan lotion and arrive at this property and have everything you need. We loved all of the decks, but the upper deck was the favorite at night for watching the meteor shower and seeing the thunderstorms out in the gulf. Truly a magical stay that we are certainly booking again!!

Jeremy's family vacationed at this property two consecutive years and fell in love with it. The entire family enjoyed excellent fishing right from the property, catching mangrove snapper, sea trout, shark, stingray, etc. The family also enjoyed watching the abundant wildlife, especially from the vantage point of the main level deck. Entire days were spent hunting the perfect photo of the marine life- bonnet head shark, sea turtles, schools of snook, pods of dolphin and even a family of manatee in the north channel. When not fishing, the children enjoyed the ground level game room (complete with ping pong, corn hole sets, a large connect 4 game etc).

In August 2017, Jeremy was blessed with the opportunity to share this beautiful property with a long-time family friend, Ken. Ken has always loved being around water and has spent many vacations at the beach. Like Jeremy and his family, Ken fell in love with this property. So, it was no surprise that, when given the opportunity to purchase this unique house on such a rare piece of land, Ken and Jeremy jumped at the chance.

The views of the Gulf, and the abundant wildlife it has to offer, are simply stunning. On any of the back decks, you are surrounded by the crystal clear water of the Gulf of Mexico. Everyday is an opportunity to watch the dolphin play or feed on the schools of fish that flow in and out of the area. The birdlife is abundant as well. Vacationing on this property feels like time spent in a nature preserve. Though only minutes from groceries and shopping, the property feels like it is completely isolated. Aripeka has the charm of "Old Florida" and is not built up like other, more touristy areas. Yet, it is only a 5-15 minute drive to Publix, Winn Dixie, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. It is also very close to Hernando Beach (5 minutes) and Homosassa Springs (30 minutes), both of which offer numerous excellent dining options. Homosassa Springs is home to some exceptional Scalloping from July through September. There are 3 golf courses within a 15 minute drive as well. Day trips to Crystal River (35 minutes north), the historic Greek sponging/ fishing village of Tarpon Springs (45 minutes straight down Route 19) or to the beaches of the Tampa/ St Pete area (~60 minutes) are readily accessible. Monthly rental discounts are available.

It truly feels like a nature preserve, a hidden gem tucked away in "Old Florida" just minutes off Route 19. The house not only has incredible views of of the Gulf, but abundant fishing and wildlife viewing. Vacationing here, you may never want to leave. We didn't... so we bought it. Now we would like to share its unique beauty and serenity with you.
