An impressive Neo-Baroque corner building facing a spectacular and suggestive landscape located on the left embankment of Vltava River, in Prague 5, on the border of Mala Strana (Prague 1) in the historical center, opposite The National Theater and in front of the fluvial island of Ostrov, beside the artificial dam, that was built for changing the water level to permit the river navigation. The palace has been built at the end of XX century; the building was rendered historically identical to its origin by a rigorous and homogenous high level restoration; luxury and elegant at once. The building has a beautiful historical façade with statues and decorations, the main entrance that is decorated with marbled stucco, an original painted glass door, a suggestive green courtyard with a fountain, moreover during the night the lights give a magic atmosphere to the place; the building consists of 14 elegant flats (little, medium and big size). It’s a luxury and elegant historical house, suitable for high level residence for managers and families; both the little and medium fully-furnished flats are suitable for holiday and business stay. From the apartments you can enjoy a magic view on the river and the old town. This property, emphasized by its attractive location, is near to The International French School and some important Embassies. In the surrounding you can find a public parking, the bus and the tram stop, the underground station, food shops, coffee-bar, pubs, restaurants, commercial center and antiques shops (kindergarten in the island of Ostrov between The National Theater and Janackovo Nabrezi Street). Choosing this apartment you will stay in the middle of it all with history breathing on you from every corner. This 200 sqm loft (2,152 sq. ft) is a great base for anyone visiting the city who looks for an inspiring and unique experience. The apartment consists of immense living room, a luxurious kitchen area and a private bar with a separate fridge that is ideal for lazy evenings with a glass of wine. The iron staircase will take you to the second floor (you can even use the elevator, which goes to both floors) where there is a master bedroom, another smaller bedroom, the third bedroom and many wardrobes and a storage with a washing machine . There are two bathrooms on this floor. The apartment has a very warm feel with wooden decor around the heating panels and a beautiful view from all windows over the river of Prague. The apartment is based in a historic building and a former residence of a famous Czech painter Mikuláš Medek, born in 1926. The apartment is fully furnished to guarantee a comfortable stay including TV, free internet, iron and ironing board, washer, hair dryer, dishwasher, oven, large fridge, another fridge in the bar, kettle, nespresso coffee machine with caps, and other cooking/kitchen utensils. The apartment is perfect for a couple as well as smaller groups of up to 8 adults. In the area surrounding the apartment you can find a vast number of restaurants, bars, museums, shops and a souvenir/fruit market. The house has a beautiful courtyard and a tea room located in the basement of the building. There is a minimum stay of 1 night (5 days during the following period Dec 12 - Jan 7).

This is an amazing property. It is located in a quieter area across the river but easily walkable to old town . Stores and restaurants easily walkable nearby. It was very clean and had air conditioning in every room. There is an elevator up to the apartment but has a lot of stairs in the unit if that is a difficulty for anyone. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and amazing place to stay

You could not get a more perfect location to stay in the city. It was central to everything and a very nice unit. My family was able to spread out and relax on our vacation.

Lovely unit and location

The owners are top notch and even created a book with recommendations from their own experiences. The main room is great for spending time together and the view is spectacular. The beds were very comfortable and there is a washer and drier. Activities and restaurants are within walking distance.

Great location! Comfortable, roomy, easy, INCREDIBLE VIEWS

Really love the location and the layout of this property. The bedroom on the very top floor could use a mirror in the bathroom but other than that it was really a perfect place for three couples to stay. The beds are typical of European beds with firm mattresses but we really loved the location, how clean it was, how charming it was, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful apartment

The apartment was absolutely wonderful. It is in a great location and within walking distance of many sites and areas. Sarah was an excellent communicator and responded quickly to all our inquiries. This apartment and location helped to make our trip so enjoyable.

Best of the best

This is my favorite place that I’ve stayed in Prague. The apartment is spacious, beautiful and perfectly maintained. Everything you want to do and see is within 20 minutes…and there are a ton of amazing restaurants within a few blocks. Sarah was great at communicating. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and will be back soon.

Great lication

We were in Prague for only 3 nights so this was the perfect location. We were a group of 6 over the age of 65 so the stairs up to the unit and in the unit were a challenge for us.

Delightful!!!

First Class from beginning to end. Host in communication and helped with transportation (Thanks David) prior to arrival, met us at the property and gave us a walk through with tips and suggestions on local favorites for food. Even had a book with pictures of things to see and do. Great walking neighborhood and close to the major attractions. Old world charm with modern convenience. Thank you so much Sarah and Matthew!

Fantastic place for large group in Prague

Matthew & Sarah were great hosts! Lovely large apartment in a quiet neighborhood (Prague 5) with lots of bars, restaurants and markets! Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Large family room, small but well equipped kitchen. Stairs can be a challenge if you’re not able to climb without help. Very walkable area to the Prague Castle & Old Town Square. Lots of public transportation in the area. Would definitely recommend & return for multiple couples that can climb stairs (19 steps up the circular to the 2nd floor & 11 more to the top floor). Bathrooms on every floor (half on bottom floor, 2 on middle floor 1 on top floor) washer & dryer on middle floor. Overall, very satisfied with the apartment. Thanks Matthew & Sarah.

Fabulous apartment and hosts!

We stayed for four nights and the apartment was perfect. Matthew and Sarah greeted us on arrival and they were great hosts. The location is so close to all the best areas of Prague. The air conditioners worked very well and it was super quiet for sleeping. It is also a very safe area. We loved everything about the apartment and highly recommended it!!!

Wonderful stay

We stayed for a month here and we couldn’t speak higher of the property, the booking process, the hosts and the location. Everything was perfect. We travelled with 2 young children and everything was accommodated. The hosts helped us with shopping, local advice and so much more. We would recommend this spacious property to anyone and would love to visit and stay here again. Thank you for all of your help.

Beautiful apartment in very nice location!

This apartment was perfect for our group: my husband and me, our three adult children and their partners. The apartment has individual air conditioning units for each room, which was great as the week we were there it was very hot. The beds were very comfortable and the common areas were spacious and clean. The location is very nice...a 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and easy access to the sights, but far enough off the beaten track so as not to be noisy at night. There is a beautiful view of the river and city from the apartment. Our hosts, Sarah and Matthew, were very helpful with information on restaurant recommendations as well as arranging for transportation from the airport to the apartment, which took a lot of the stress out of the arrival process. It was very easy to communicate with them and they were very responsive to my questions.

From the booking process, to the check in process with Matt, to the check out and post stay-the communication was exceptionally good!!! The property is located near everything-Charles Bridge, Jazz Dock, the John Lennon wall, restaurants and has a beautiful view of the river. STAY HERE

Tolle Lage

Die Wohnung ist toll gelegen und bietet ausreichend Platz. Matthew war ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Er hat uns gute Tipps gegeben und umgehend geholfen, wenn etwas nicht in Ordnung war. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es nur, weil die Ausstattung etwas liebevoller sein könnte und teilweise etwas abgewohnt ist.

Great location, but couldn't use the top level because a/c didn't work.

This apartment is situated centrally yet away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. The apartment is spacious and looks just as good as the photos. It has 3 levels which would have been perfect for a large group of travelers like ours (we had 8 people in our party). Unfortunately, the top level's air conditioning didn't work and the owner was not responsive when messaged about this issue. In the heatwave of 90+ F it was very important to have a cool bedroom to come back to after a full day of sightseeing. We had to put some people in the living room, which was not the most convenient way for our stay. The rest of the house was cool enough and we still enjoyed our trip to Prague.
