Ocean Front / Beach Front Castle House at Stinson Beach

Enjoy FULL views of the sunrise and sunset from the dining room, living room and large deck. Step down from the deck to the beach for a leisurely walk or build your own sand castle at the foot of the 'Castle House.' Relax or BBQ at the large deck. Walk to the Stinson Village shops and restaurants and never get into your car until it is time to go home!

The Castle House has two bedrooms (with queen-size beds) and two recently remodeled baths. The bedrooms have views of the beach and the ocean and are located at the front and rear of the house. They have wall to wall new carpets. There is a fully equipped and recently remodeled kitchen, a large deck and a large covered porch with outdoor furniture. It is a comfortable, well kept and very nicely furnished home. The living room has a turret (as in a castle!) with a circular sofa and embraces the complete view of the beach and ocean, from the north end of Stinson-Bolinas to the southern tip. There is parking for two cars.
In the Summer time we rent full weeks with shorter stays in between full week rentals. During holidays (including school holidays) we rent 3 to 4 days min, depending on the holiday with shorter stays based on approval and availability.

The castle house is very magical if you want a great house right on the beach, it has everything you need. Step out on the sand or just observe from the beautiful covered deck. Great beds, sleep to the sound of the waves. Elida is the most excellent host. Iā€™ll be back as often as it is possible.

A fantastic beach front castle that had everything we were hoping for. Comfortable, clean, and nothing between you and the waves other than sand. We were celebrating a birthday and I wanted a place that would be easy for my dad to get around now that he uses a walker, this place was perfect for that. Because of the deck, he was also able to feel like he was on the beach without having to traverse the sand. We hope to be back soon! Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castle House. Only negative was that the windows do not open to allow fresh air in. The kitchen was well stocked for the 2 of us and the location was perfect for us and our dog.

Other than windows not opening and no screens on the doors, which can make it stuffy and stagnant inside, its absolutely wonderful. I feel blessed to have been able to experience The Castle House.

Second Stay at the White Castle

We enjoyed our recent stay even more than the last one. Beautiful weather and fewer beach goers. If you love dogs this house is perfectly situated - dogs are allowed off leash, so many different breeds. The house is roomy enough for the four of us plus toddler, itā€™s very clean and comfortably furnished. We greatly appreciated the call from the homeowner advising us of the tsunami warning. Weā€™ll be back!

Beautiful property on the beach with lots of windows. We really enjoyed looking out to the beach and watching the waves during the cold parts of the day and sitting on the steps with toes in the sand during the sunshine. Kids loved playing with the provided sand toys. Really enjoyable experience and very responsive owner.

Great property right on the beach - plenty of people and dog watching during the day, solitude early morning and evening. Lots of fun for the grandparents, parents and toddler. The place is well equipped for a several day stay and quite charming as well. Easy walk to the tiny town for provisions.

Location! Location! Location!

This house is literally right on the beach and is an easy walk to downtown Stinson Beach. The house is well stocked for cooking meals and was very comfortable for our group.

Magical !

For years I have seen this amazing property as I walked along Stinson beach - and finally, with my daughter and grandchildren I spent two wonderful wild days there! (Wild refers to the weather- not my family!) the sea was tumultuous and beautiful and but we felt so cosy in the Castle! It is beautifully equipped and Elida our host was perfectly lovely and answered any questions quickly and cheerfully ! It was a wonderful stay!

Great stay on the sand . . .

We had a very enjoyable stay. Elida was very accommodating, especially after my daughter became ill and we needed to change dates. The property is located right on the sand with a big deck and plenty of seating and the kitchen is well equipped. Beds were comfortable and there's a nice dining and living area with windows out to the water. It's great to sleep to sound of the waves. Only negative is the 10 am check-out, especially for the price. We understand the need to have cleaners come in to prep for next stay but think there's plenty of time with a 11 am or 12 pm checkout - so we can have breakfast and enjoy the morning before packing to go. But overall, this is a great property and we'd happily return!

We love the castle house, this was our 2nd stay here, we will be back in November and again next summer. The best location ever, fully equipped. Super clean always. We never want to leave. Thank you Elida!
