The condo itself is nicely decorated in bright colors and features comfortable furnishings. Disappointment

Have stayed at other condos in same complex in past - this one is owned by an investment group and managed by Vacasa. Currently overpriced based on the dated condition of condo. Issues include: No lock on door from deck to bedroom Front room carpet in need of shampoo Most electrical cover plates loose Coffee maker had no pot Enough utensils,cups and plates for 3 people All knives were dull Dishwasher is not bolted in and tips out when opened Kitchen is generally dated. Bare minimum of kitchen supplies and most things like bowls are one’s and two's from dollar tree (current). All are used and worn. Carpets in both bedrooms need cleaning Small bathroom toilet is not spaced wide enough for adult. Vanity is loose and leveled using cardboard. Front door has a screen door that is twisted and will not close. Door also is spaced 2 inches above threshold so interior door can’t be left open. Dryer is worn out and felt drum seal is coming out putting black grease marks on clothes and has ruined a pair of women’s shorts and a bra. Bedroom chair is covered with stains. Wall by bedroom chair was repaired but not finished. Main bathroom sink does not drain well Main bathroom fan is worn out and noisy Outdoor light does not work. Front Door is rusting. Overall - currently - value is not there - much better condos in same complex for same price or less.

Great Location

We stayed in this condo for three months. Being just a short walk to the beach was excellent. We also loved being on the third floor with so much natural light coming in the large windows. Sitting by the pool was nice and having a restaurant on the property was convenient. We would definitely return to Arcadian Dunes in the future. :)

Confusing

The home was a good price in a good location. The beds were very comfortable. Below you will see some of the confusion we experienced with Vacasa. 1. The home was very dusty and wasn't thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. Thank you Vacasa for addressing this for us. 2. We booked for three months. During our first month the cable stopped working. Thank you again for getting it back up and running. 3. After our first month the cleaners arrived. They said we were checking out. We said we were booked here for three months. 4. After our first month Vacasa sent an email asking us to review our stay. We had two months left. 5. After our second month the cleaners showed up again thinking we were checking out. Nope, we are still here. And now I'm writing a second review of our stay. 6. In our second month Vacasa emailed us a number of times wanting me to complete our check in process. We of course were already checked in. 7. We were told that there was a fee for parking. That's ok but it was more money when we checked in. 8. We emailed before we arrived to enquire if we could take our peddle bikes. The reply was that there was nowhere in the condo complex to store them. But when we arrived there are outdoor bike racks all over the condo compound in front of the buildings. I would give the condo itself a 4 out of 5 and Vacasa a 3 out of 5 because of the confusing communication. Other than that, we totally enjoy coming to Myrtle Beach during the winter. 8.
