Remodeled Resort-Style Condo with Waterfall Views

The Cliffs is located on the north shore of Kauai on a park like setting overlooking the ocean ideal for watching summer sunsets or winter whale watching. Amenities include swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, gas barbecues and putting green. The Princeville resort community is also home to the beautiful Prince Golf Course, named Number One golf course by Golf Digest and is included in their list of America's 100 Greatest golf courses.

The complete kitchen includes range, refrigerator, disposal, microwave, dishwasher, and a gorgeous view of the Cliffs grounds with a peek at the ocean.

The living room includes comfy chairs, along with TV/VCR/Cable, CD and Stereo. Just the place to relax after a wonderful day in paradise.

The loft bedroom is equipped with two queen beds, a full closet, and plenty of storage space for clothing. The loft also includes desk with phone and WiFi.

The master bedroom features a king size bed, full bath and full closet, and its own private lanai with mountain views.

The rental met our basic needs, but we couldn't spend too much time on the property as it felt pretty uncomforatable-Rusty sliding doors and windows - hard to open Couches uncomfortable and all smelled musty (like body odor)Rusty Kitchen supplies (Cheese Grater)Tub stopper not working in big bathroom Pool area super dirtyKids play ground rusty/overgrownEverything in general was pretty dirty and dingy, smelled pretty musty. The perfect family rental on Kauai's north shore

We loved our stay at the Cliffs in Princeville. The apartment was spacious and clean and easily housed our family of 5. It had all of the amenities we needed including a fully stocked kitchen and laundry. The resort has a great pool that the kids loved playing in, as well as super fun tennis and pickleball courts! It is the perfect jumping off point for unforgettable adventures in Kauai!!

perfect paradise

This condo had everything we needed for an easy relaxing stay in the north of Kauai. The kids loved the pool and play areas. The condo was clean and well stocked.

Excellent experience

The property is clean, remodeled, and has everything you need for a great vacation. Location is just perfect. Beautiful sunrise, sunsets and gorgeous beaches. Overall, excellent.

Nice place

We thought the unit was perfect for 2 couples. We’ll equipped. Nice pool & hot tubs. Better tennis facilities than nearby resorts. Nice entertainment system with all the streaming services. We especially enjoyed the gazebo with grills on the cliff. We would stay again, but maybe upgrade to a unit with a seafront view.

Summer Family Vacation

We stayed at this property for two weeks and it was perfect. Every morning and evening we would walk over to the cliffs to enjoy the views. The pool was fabulous and we loved that there were different options. My boys had fun playing basketball, pickleball, and riding bikes. This resort had it all. The condo was a perfect size for my family of six. I was a little worried about not having ac in July but with the trade winds, it was fine. We even got a little cold at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

Kauai offers a low key island experience. People often go there to get away from the more commercialized feel and bustle of other island communities. The Cliffs plays into this strength so well. It is tucked away up on the north side of Kauai in the midst of sleepy towns and condos. It offers a beautiful location with all the amenities you could want and more. Off campus, you are a short distance from the beach or river kayaking or hiking. The unit has a sprawling master bedroom, a cozy living space, a helpful loft for more sleeping area, and a full kitchen. We felt very comfortable and satisfied with our experience. I highly recommend the unit and this management company!!

Loved the Cliffs!

Wonderful stay! My husband and I stayed for 8 nights with our two girls (ages 1 and 4). Beautiful grounds and pool area, playground was a bonus for the kids! The unit was clean and had everything we could need - including beach chairs/umbrella, cooler, pack n play, and a high chair - our on island host was very responsive with all requests! While we did not have nire than a "peak" view of the ocean, the place was fabulous all the same. We enjoyed the two lanais and they allowed a nice breeze to move throughout the condo. Our only complaint would be the master bed - not very comfortable at all, while the beds in the loft were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again, it made the perfect home base while we explored and relaxed!

wonderful!

We really loved this property! Tennis courts, pool, biking, hiking, snorkeling, close to grocery shopping and restaurants, walking distance to a beautiful sunset! Golf course is close, but $$$. We went to the public course in Kapaa along the ocean, fabulous! The beds were comfortable - 2 queens and a king. Pool and courts don't open until 9, but the roosters are crowing at 6. (This is all over Kauai. ) We donated a wine opener for the kitchen. There is a Farmer's market on the property every Wednesday and Saturday 4:30 - 6:30. There was a yummy pizza food truck weekly . Had a blast!

Family vacation

We enjoyed our time in Princeville. Our condo was great! Very spacious and clean. The property grounds were always well kept. Our only “complaints” were the pool area didn’t live up to the expectations. It was small and disappointing. Limited seating. We only went 1 time. We loved the shuffleboard/pickleball courts, we just wish there were lights so we could play a little later. It was dark before 10:00 pm cutoff so we didn’t get to go down and play much after dinner. When it had cooled off a bit.

Great! Very organized!

We loved this location, and I loved how the kitchen was labeled and organized. That made me very happy. Everything was clean, and we enjoyed the pool and all the beach supplies. The only thing that freaked me out a little was leaving all windows and doors open all night due to lack of AC. The backdoor wouldn’t lock. We were on the 3rd floor, so I got over it. It is fun to watch the sunset at the end of the property. Don’t miss it. This is the best place to stay on the island as it is SO beautiful. My last thing is that the $500 deposit was steep. We should get every penny back, but it shocked me. Finally, we did love this place. It was great with a family.

Excellent, well equipped, recently remodeled timeshare

First: I have nothing but compliments about the timeshare. Recently remodeled, very well equipped with everything needed. The home was welcoming and we spent many pleasant hours there. Second: The resort itself was very nice. The management was friendly, a number of activities, everyone was welcoming. Third: I have nothing but complaints about the timeshare management company, Hawaii Life. They never told us to check into the resort office. They had the incorrect password for the wi-fi (the resort had the correct one). They gave us no instructions in how to use the TV & streaming services, they told the resort we were leaving a day earlier than we had paid for, and everytime I tried to talk to hour concierge person, my call would roll over to a full mailbox. I think this was the first time they had managed this property. My suggestion is that the owners find a new management company. Last: I wish I had known about Kauai chicken problem!

Thank you for your review. We appreciate hearing from all of our guests. First let me clear up some of the comments. Hawaii Life is not new to this property and have been the Managers for awhile now. Also all of the access information is sent to the guests about a week before arrival and has correct information as well as printed information in the unit itself. We do not require checking in through the Resort Front Desk for access to the unit-only to tell them rental car information. We attempted to help this guest on several occasions with WIFI access information as well as how to work the TV and cable access-fairly simple but can be confusing for some guests. The cleaning staff was confused on the departure day and came to clean a day early. We were not asking the guest to leave a day earlier than they paid for. We apologized for the mistake. We did answer the phone on each call and this guest did not leave any unanswered messages. We can assure any future guests that we have gone over our arrival instructions and added additional instructions to place inside of the unit for clarification of use of the TV/Cable-we do not use streaming devices in the unit. The Perfect Getaway in Paradise - views of the ocean and sunsets

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have two teenagers making this two bedroom perfect for the family. It has a beautiful open space floor plan with a large master. From the kitchen and patio - there are peekaboo views of the ocean and sunset. The TV is Roku with Netflix and other streaming channels. All items are high-end with chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler for the beach at your disposal.The grounds are stunning with every inch perfectly manicured with deep lush tropical foliage. The pool is awesome with three sides. The front is loud and family-focused with two waterfalls. The back is quiet for adults also with waterfalls - surrounded by jungle plants. Our favorite location was the lawn overlooking the ocean and sunset. There are also several BBQs and tables to have a sunset dinner (which we did). There's even a path to the water on the other side of the hedges.Lastly, they have bikes at no cost to ride around Priceville with. Outstanding experience. Highly recommend.
