Wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time staying at his location! It’s everything it appears, and also in a great location. Very close to all the resorts and not long of a drive to many beaches. We had a wonderful time and would love to come again.

Wonderful Stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The layout was great. It was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Really convenient to have plenty of hot water for showers as well as beach chairs, umbrella and washer/drawer in the unit. Close to everything in the North Shore.

Fantastic Condo!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! All of the great reviews were absolutely correct: very clean, well-stocked kitchen and linens, great location, and efficient management. We will definitely be back!! One word of caution that was not an issue for us, but could be to someone else: the tub/shower in the primary suite were a little difficult to access and the bed was very high, so beware if you have any physical limitations.

Lovely and comfortable condo

My husband, adult son and I spent a week in Kauai. This condo fit our needs perfectly. The condo is clean and comfortable. Easy walk or drive to the Princeville shopping center for shopping and restaurants. We’re looking forward to our next visit to Kauai. Mahalo.

Great condo

We were lucky to find this condo at the last minute and were very comfortable there. It was clean, well stocked, easy check in and was in a beautiful neighborhood. It was close to many activities and also a wonderful place in itself to relax and read a book. We are spoiled with nice pillows at home and so I will say we all felt the pillows here could stand to be a bit fluffier but other than that, I wouldn’t change anything. We will definitely return!

Wonderful aloha spirit

We spent a week on this property with friends. Everything that we could want or need to have an incredible vacation was included. We had all the kitchen supplies to create wonderful meals, and beach stuff to have a great day out. The amenities at the property were so well kept. We loved having the pool just across the grass. Everyone we met at the pool and onsite were wonderful. Highly recommend!

Thank you for a well-stocked, clean, comfortable (and tastefully decorated!) “home base” for our family to enjoy the island from!! There are beach chairs, games, plenty of kitchen utensils and supplies- including a rice cooker and crock pot! We appreciated- and used- Samantha’s tips. Until next time- Aloha!

Best location!

We have been to Kauai 6 times now as a family . The plantation and Nihilani next door have been our favorite places to stay. This unit had excellent A/C , a great patio with a perfect view of the pool just outside, but not too close. There was a large family staying above us but we never heard any noise. The hot tub was nice on our rainy day. We grilled out at the pool and relaxed in the evening. It’s close enough that my kids and i walked to sea lodge beach which had good snorkeling. There are turtle caves near by we walked to and explored as well. The running path next to the golf course is beautiful in the mornings and just around the corner from this unit. The property had all the things we could need. Plenty of good beach chairs and a sun umbrella and cooler. Check in was easy. We love this location and will keep coming back!

Christmas holiday

We stayed at this property for 21 days. Both the owners and property managers were really helpful and quick to respond to any type of questions. I have nothing negative to say about this property. It was well stocked with the items we needed. There was no bugs, which we've experienced in Hawaiian rentals in the past. We love the Princeville area. My kids lived at the pool and we used the barbeque almost every night. The pool area is cleaned and prepared every morning prior to it opening. Property grounds are very well kept. Parking was easy for our rental van. The condo had good beds and linens. Highly recommend and I would happily return.

We enjoyed our stay

Overall it was a very nice place. Traveling with two adult children so we needed three beds, this one had two twins in the second bedroom. Good location, not close enough to walk to beaches but they aren’t to far. Liked the small town, remote feeling of the area instead of the croweded and resort feel beaches. House had the basics for basic cooking, etc. AC worked well. Didn’t go to pool but it looked nice. Grounds well kept up, clean when we Arrived. Overall a really nice place, good location….I would stay again.

Paradise in Paradise.

Dear Sam & Jeff. Thank you so much for allowing us to share your home on this beautiful island. The Condo was exactly as advertised. Comfortable beds and everything one would need for our 15 day stay. The Condo was bigger then expected. Our grand daughter enjoyed all the beach gear that was available, as we had a hard time keeping her out of the ocean. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio and the serenity surrounding the Condo. The pool and BBQ area was heaven as we BBQ'd all the time. We love the North Shore as we have stayed here several times. My husband loves playing golf at the Makai Course and was able to walk from the Condo.Touring the Island was spectacular but nice to know we had a nice place to come home to. We enjoyed eating breakfast at the St. Regis and several restaurants in Hanalei. We will definitely be back.

Bugs and Broken

We got there to a note at check in saying the Washer leaked and won’t be fixed during our stay. The noise from the hot tub crew was really annoying, and since the AC broke for two days of our stay made it worse. We also had issue with DW having bugs in it and I was asked to clean it out. Garbage Disposal was also broken during our stay. To be fair the property manager did respond to maintenance requests but overall property was a disappointment

Enjoyable extended stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Plantation at Princeville 612 where we stayed for 7 weeks. The condo is in a great location and was adequate for our needs. The shared pool and grills were kept up well. The condo met all of our needs for our extended stay and there were only a few things I will mention as constructive feedback. Upon arrival we noticed several things that were not quite to the standard we were expecting, but most were minor and did not impact our enjoyment. 2 of the screen doors were ripped and the screen at the kitchen window was damaged, and although we thought these things should have been noticed and repaired before our arrival, they were corrected within 2 days of our reporting them. We also reported a broken toilet flush handle and this was not addressed until the next day after a second call. The other things were minor and although we reported most of them we agreed that they were not vital to our enjoyment and they were not addressed during our stay: Broken cording/wicker on 3 of the dining room chairs Missing cushions on 2 of the outdoor lanai chairs Broken/unusable shelves in refridgerator Broken/unsightly valances on doors and windows Dining room chairs are big and heavy and very difficult to move on the carpeting Master bedroom tub extremely difficult to get in and out of and could be dangerous for a smaller or frailer person Pots and pans very difficult to cook with All in all we were pleased with the condo, the complex and with the Princeville resort area.

Beautiful condo. Felt like home. The mattress in master bedroom was fabulous! I usually wake up stiff, but not here. Bed is very high though. I’m older so was difficult getting into it. I asked for a step stool and they brought one over the next day and it Worked fine. First time staying in Princeville. So glad we did. So beautiful and really feels like the true Hawaii. Kitchen is fully stock d with anything you need to prepare food. View of pool is nice and they keep the BBQ and grounds so clean. The unit had beach chairs, snorkel gear, ice chest and other beach toys. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location and stay

Property was as advertised. We did have LOTS of trouble contacting the place regarding info, check in when we arrived I reached out via every available number and email about getting access and was met with no responses at times and made our check in about 2 hours AFTER we could have because they wouldn’t answer and give me the info to get in. They let us stay an hour past check out but was frustrating after traveling all day and wanting to settle. There was minimal problems with the resort itself the only complaint was an upstairs neighbor everyday at 4a would be banging stomping slamming talking extremely loudly just didn’t make for a super relaxing unit but besides that it was as advertised and well stocked with all the things you may need for cooking, babies and beach.

Hi and welcome to our VRBO page! I'm Samantha and my husband is Jeff. My husband was born and raised in Southern California and I immigrated from South Africa in the early 1980's and have called Southern California home ever since. We met in Santa Barbara, have been married since 2002 and have two daughters. To say we love the North Shore of Kauai would be an understatement. Jeff and I share a love of surfing and each took up the sport in our teen years. Together we have explored surf spots all over the world and yet we kept returning to Kauai. Kauai is a second home to us. We love lazy days in Hanalei, surfing, swimming, exploring and teaching our girls to share our love of the ocean. We have tried to add personal touches to our condo, like a dear friend's collaged art piece that graces the walls or a carved wooden surfboard that is much too pretty to ride :) We hope you enjoy our condo as much as we do.

The North Shore of Kauai moves at a slower pace and gives us a much needed break from our otherwise crazy routines of work and keeping up with our children's schedule! Every time we stay, we realize how nice it is to simplify and give our family a chance to reconnect.

We love that our condo is located on the inside of Plantations. We don't get any street noise and we don't overlook our neighbors. We love facing the pool and the internal grounds and feel like the condo is a standalone unit, offering lots of privacy.
