The space

Situated in the foothills of the Mayacama mountain range, just 3 miles from downtown Healdsburg, this location offers privacy while being close to all the action.

Please feel free to join us at the winery next door for wine tasting and socializing with the owner and winemaker John Viszlay and his daughter Abby of Viszlay Vineyards.

Our farmhouse on Limerick Lane offers three world-class wineries within walking distance. At the nexus of Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley you are never far from your favorite winery!

Our house was newly remodeled in 2016 turning a small 100 yr old farmhouse into this fantastic 5 bedroom/ 6 baths home. Our location is just outside of Healdsburg, 2 minutes from Hwy 101, surrounded by vineyards and next to a winery.

Perfect for nature lovers and wine tasters alike, and a great starting point for many beautiful bicycle rides/tours in the Healdsburg area. House is situated on a 10 acre property with vineyards and a seasonal creek. Enjoy quiet nights with fantastic star gazing.

This house is fully furnished. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare your own food, such as a coffee maker, coffee grinder, cookware, toaster, etc. There are 2 living areas, one upstairs with a 82" flat screen tv and one downstairs with a 65" flat screen tv. There are 6 full bathrooms, one on each bedroom, and a full guest bath on the main floor. Each bedroom has a new Queen bed. The space can comfortably fit 10 adults and up to 2 additional people or children on the sleeper sofa.

The house is also equipped with a full cable package and WIFI.
There are some stairs to enter the house it is not wheelchair accessible.

Our house features new mattresses and bedding, every bedroom has it's own private bath. Generously sized common areas, full laundry access, full kitchen and a wrap around porch with killer views.

We plan to make improvements to landscaping in stages around the house. Fencing, olive trees and a vine covered arbor will all be added.

Kitchen was top drawer. Plenty of room for everyone, including a five-year old. Weather (atmospheric river) was a challenge but out of everyone's control. Appreciated the Christmas decorations the owner rolled out. Would definitely vacation there again.

Beautiful house plenty of room for relaxing and entertaining. Hot tub was a huge plus! Too cold when we went to use the pool but the the owner was happy to heat it for us for an extra fee if we wanted but the hot tub was the prime area we relaxed as well as the patio with the fire pit! Everything was clean and ready to enjoy. Will definitely stay again as it is a great location near a lot of wineries and downtown Healdsburg. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Our party of 10 friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay with John and Abby at their lovely family vineyard. The weather was beautiful so they offered to do our tasting on our porch which made it so intimate. Their wines are wonderful and the Five Vines was delicious!We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, super comfy furniture on the porches, all of the rooms with comfy beds and ensuite bathrooms. We would absolutely stay here again!

Nice old house with king beds in each of 5 bedrooms, and each bedroom with private bath. Big kitchen. Unheated pool was cold but refreshing given the 90 degree heat. Pool area did not look like pictures and was cluttered, lacking privacy with ownerā€™s apartment just above it. Still, overall nice enough.

Beautiful house but unkept grounds

Our group of 10 stayed here for 3 nights. The house was beautiful and very clean inside with a nice big kitchen, lots of bathrooms, and comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the porch area. However, we had booked the house with the intent to enjoy the beautiful pool area/backyard. The pool had algae growing everywhere and was so cloudy that it was not swim-able. The grass was mostly weeds and hadnā€™t been mowed for quite some time. Trash and chemicals were scattered around the entirety of the property grounds. Overall, the outdoor area has not been maintained in quite some time.

This property was perfect for our couples getaway to wine country! It was so wonderful to have a house with 5 en suite rooms. The views from the porch were breathtaking, and we loved using the pizza oven! The owners were so helpful and attentive.

Disappointed

The house had plenty of bathrooms, and was a good size. It did not appear to be professionally cleaned. There were spider webs hanging from the ceiling in a few spots, the carpet was stained and there were hairs on the bathroom floor. The backyard was overgrown and all of the chairs were all stacked together. There was an outdoor couch but but it was too dirty to sit on. It was definately not what was shown in the listing. The perfect thanksgiving get-away

The owners were fantastic hosts, putting up with our rambunctious troop of kids playing outside from dawn to dusk alongside the vines. The home set-up is ideal for families looking for spacious common space (oversized chefā€™s kitchen, cozy game room, vineyard view dining room, wrap-around porch, etc.), plus ample private space (en suite bathrooms for every bedroom.

Amazing home and stay

WE WOULD STAY AT THIS HOME AGAIN!!!! The house itself and outer property(vineyard) is absolutely wonderful. Clean, comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need and more for making evening meals and breakfasts. Our bed was comfortable and plenty of storage in our room for luggage. (we had the smallest room). Plenty of room to spread out for 10 people. Dining outside and inside options. Hot tub was clean. (did not use pool due to weather) It really is an amazing spot. Winery guests can not see the home, hot tub or pool areas. John was polite and available during our stay. Written information about our stay was clear and concise. Easy to follow check out guidelines. Only reasons I gave a couple answers 4.5 stars are due to VRBO and host giving me different answers for our security deposit return time frame and property between winery and home is a bit cluttered for my taste. Again, we would book this place again for sure. Thanks for an amazing time in Sonoma County!!

Our group had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and built well for a large groups. House is as pictured. The scenery surrounding the house is even more beautiful than pictured. It is truly a stunning property. Pool and hot tub are convenient to the house. Property manager is available and on site.

50th birthday trip

We absolutely had the best time Iā€™ve had in a long time! It was such a beautiful property the host was amazing. Even let us play with their dog in the pool. Finding out that the hosts and their winery owner is from chicago and is Hungarian like my husband just made it feel like home!!! Laughing with family and friends and celebrating at this property is highly recommended!

Fantastic friend getaway!

This house is fantastic: just a short drive from downtown Healdsburg and several great tasting locations. It's also full of wonderful spaces: our party of 10 enjoyed making dinner in the kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub, having dinner on the patio, and watching a movie on the enormous screen upstairs. Abby took excellent care of us, from a complimentary tasting from their vineyard (Viszlay), to coming over herself defrost the freezer when it got stuck on our first night. I love visiting Healdsburg, and would recommend this place to any large party looking to spend quality time together!

Great Time

This is a wonderful home and just perfect for a large group. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms and the areas inside the house and outside are perfect. Great porch to relax on while having a glass of wine. The owners could not be nicer and made sure our stay went well. No problem getting Ubers to take us to and from dinners in town. We will stay again.

Nice home and host, but not the ultimate staycation

We booked this home as a destination to enjoy wine country in CA. The pool and size of the home was the #1 reason why we choose this home over others. John was great when I initially booked the home verifying the dates were available and approving our reservation. Upon arrival the pool was under construction and it was unusable. There was no communication to this prior to showing up at the house. John said it was an emergency repair that had to happen. I understand this can happen, but it was the lack of communication of the repair that was not great. John was nice and did provide a small refund per night because of this repair and he did find a neighbor who was willing to allow use of their pool during the stay. This was a nice gesture and appreciated, but it was still an issue not knowing prior to arrival. The pool was clearly under repair for several days so there was plenty of time to communicate the repair. This would have allowed our group to book another home, or make arrangements on our own for another pool. The home appeared to be shared as there was food in the refrigerator upon arrival. The overall cleanliness of the home was also not great. The coffee makers were both dirty and the wine decanter had clear wine stains. The bedrooms and bathrooms however were clean and comfortably. Overall it was a good stay, but we wish the group had full access to the pool to take full advantage of this being a true ultimate staycation. John did help once the group arrived.

Perfect gathering spot

A group of ten stayed here for a fun tasting weekend and to celebrate a friend's birthday. We loved every minute of it! After tasting each day, we would return and have dinner together and hang out in the hot tub. One night a caterer came to cook dinner at the house as we celebrated a birthday - it was perfect to have a huge kitchen and plenty of room to eat and enjoy the evening. John and Abby hung out with us, and they were very responsive to us once we got on property, even having dinner with us one night and hanging out. The neighborhood is quiet and we walked Limerick Lane each morning. Will stay here again!
