Just one block off St. Charles Avenue, this residence offers a perfect mix of classic New Orleans charm and modern comfort. The secure, gated compound features a large private courtyard and a shared swimming pool—ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
You'll be steps away from the St. Charles Streetcar (trolley), providing easy access to the Garden District, French Quarter, and all the vibrant neighborhoods of New Orleans. The Central Business District, Superdome, and Smoothie King Center are also within walking distance or a quick Lyft ride. From world-class dining to live music, everything that makes New Orleans special is right at your fingertips.
Enjoy free street parking and the convenience of being near top restaurants and lively late-night spots along St. Charles Avenue. Whether you're here for the food, history, or nightlife, Residences du Carondelet is the perfect base for your New Orleans adventure.
LICENSE PERMIT NUMBER: 22-CSTR-19243 Features and amenities • Front porch overlooking the charming courtyard • Access to a Shared pool • Modern space with high ceilings and interior design details • Spacious living and dining room • Fully stocked Chef’s kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances • Hardwood floors throughout • Large windows with plenty of natural light • Modern bathroom with tiles, bathtub and amenities Parking • The residence has no dedicated parking. Only street parking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Things to know • This unit is on the 2nd floors of the building with no elevator. • We may use video surveillance in public areas. • For an additional fee, daily housekeeping services are available upon your request • Check-in time is any time after 4 pm. Check-out time is any time before 10 am. Guests are welcome to request an early check-in or late checkout, but this is not guaranteed and we can only confirm 24 hours in advance. • Gatherings of more than 4 people including both overnight guests and visitors are not allowed and may be subject to eviction. Extra guests and visitors are not permitted without management consent The number of overnight guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy. • State Identification Card or Driver License copy will be requested upon booking. • City residents are required to book a minimum of a 3-night stay. • A high chair and Pack ’n Play are available upon request House rules • House parties and illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Violators will be charged $500 fine. • The home has a maximum occupancy of guests. Renters who exceed the occupancy limit and falsify occupancy information at the time of reservation are subject to eviction. Violators will be charged $200 - $500 fine. • NO SMOKING in unit. Any violation of the smoking policy will incur a $250.00 fine plus the cleaning costs necessary to remove smoke odors from the unit/house and/or linens. • Pets are not allowed. Violation of our pet policy may result in a $500 plus cleaning expenses. We encourage guests with service animals to contact us before their stay. • Quiet hours are observed from 9 pm-8 am. Violators will be charged a $200 fine. • Any exceptions to the rules and regulations, as written here, must be approved in writing in advance. Rates, terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice. • Please note: We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, as well as stolen or damaged items that occur while on the premises, its facilities or parking lots. • Traveler must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation. • Local resident restrictions apply. Guests residing within a 100-mile radius are required to contact the host before booking. • For same day late check-ins, you need to get the host's approval before booking. Great location, but very limited furnishings.
The seating and furnishings for this property are for 3 people only, there is no desk or work table, and the kitchen was as spartan as any place I can imagine. We typically stay at vacation rentals or hotels with a kitchenette. I’m used to better. This place had 3 coffee mugs, 5 spoons, 3 stools around the only table…. In a property I rented for 4 people! (We ended up being 2 people, but still). We had to hand wash things every day. Sofa was uncomfortable. Not a single real chair except for side balcony plastic chairs. So definitely NOT a home away from home. The beds were comfy, so if you only plan to sleep here, it’s perfect. But we had work responsibilities, and reheated leftovers often. Not ideal. If this place had been properly furnished, we would have loved it. But as it was, not welcoming. We requested a hair dryer, which was delivered (finally) on day 4 of a 14 day stay. The exterior courtyard is awesome, shared by multiple units. This rental is part of at least 4 buildings on a common courtyard. Our unit was second floor, with exterior steps to the entry.
