Welcome to 'Mockingbird Lane', a Snowbird friendly luxury rental house in the coveted neighborhood of Four Mile Village. Available for monthly rentals only, this home sits on a hill surrounded by lush trees with a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. The views from the front porch will take your breath away and make it difficult to leave for even a second! Four Mile Village is a quiet neighborhood where lush trees flourish and nature draws you in. Hike through the many trails in the neighborhood or stroll on the beach and take in the salty air. If you're looking for an extended stay at the beach, Mockingbird Lane awaits you!

Between the main house and the guest quarters, this home sleeps up to 12 guests in four bedrooms. The main house's living space is spacious and provides gulf views through multiple sliding glass doors. Plush, white sofas surround a wood fireplace and flat-screen TV. Just off of the living room is a game area with a foosball table for your enjoyment. Gather around the wood dining room table and enjoy a feast with seating for eight and additional bar seating for three. The kitchen is lined with white cabinetry and ample counter space as well as LG and Kenmore appliances. This area is where you'll find yourself spending most of your time and enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean.

Three of the four bedrooms reside in the main house. A twin bedroom with two twin beds shares a bathroom with the living area and a queen bedroom. The queen bedroom has private access to the balconies where gulf views await. The best views, however, are from the master bedroom! Two sliding glass doors offer expansive views of the gulf and access to the balcony. In the private bathroom, you'll find a walk-in closet, his/hers vanities, and a tub/shower combination.

The final sleeping arrangements are located in the guest quarters. Complete with a full kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with a flat-screen TV, the guest quarters is perfect for all. A queen bed and full-over-full bunk bed sleep six in this space. Guests also have access to the balconies through their own set of sliding glass doors.

The outdoor space is just as cozy and inviting as the inside! A covered lanai offers guests a place to sit and enjoy the views of the Gulf. An outdoor dining table seats six comfortably, making for a perfect place to play board games and grill out while watching the sunset. Lounge seating is perfect for sipping a cocktail and taking in your surroundings. Mockingbird Lane resides in a beautiful nature preserve where peace and relaxation are guaranteed. *Fireplaces are a seasonal feature that can only be utilized from October through December. Fireplaces will not be in working order from May to September.

Pleasurable summer at the beach !!

Had a great time and enjoyed the summer here ! They some how decided to increase the price for July 2026 almost 50k more . Called the property management to inquire about this twice and have yet to get a response.

Where do I start

Let me start with the view & location is awesome for the price. But we had several kinks in the house. First dryer on top level did not work, called management & they sent a service man to fix it while we were getting ready to go out then he unhooks both dryer vents said they were out of code. So the heat filled our rooms. Second, the microwave vent a hood was not functioning. Property management called to ask if they could send a maintenance man to install it(while we were there). Answer was no. One iron did not work so we had 1 iron per 10 people. And last it is infested with mice. They chewed into so many loaves of bread, chips, and other snacks. We did not have the space to keep it in fridge. We got sticky traps & caught 3 in one night. Then 1 the next night that ripped himself off the trap & was screaming somewhere in the kitchen for a few hours. Sorry so long just donā€™t want anyone surprised. Also the furniture is white but filthy.

Great location

Very private area, we saw deer and fox. Pretty much a private beach. Lots of eateries and upscale shopping close. It was a very relaxing week. However, the house does need repairs. Rental agent was accessible and helped with whatever we needed.

Beautiful house

Loved the location of the house and the neighborhood. Lots of nature and essay Access to the beach. House was clean and had a beautiful beach view. Definitely will recommend this house and will revisit next summer.

Peaceful hidden Gem

This place was an amazing find. Located on a hill overlooking beach mansions and the ocean. Private beach is next to Topsail preserve so you donā€™t have to worry about crowds of people. You do have to drive a short distance to the beach access, but well worth it for the privacy you have at the house. Downstairs has a kitchen, Full Bathroom, and sleeping for 6 kids;) made for a fun vacation for adults upstairs and kids downstairs! Only critique is rugs are needed at the entrances inside to wipe feet. Constant battle to try and keep feet clean.

It was very beautiful really enjoyed the views but the house needs a few updates but overall not bad

We all enjoyed the property and the surroundings. But we also did not like the TV set hi p where only 3 TVs can play if you have a tv in every room then they all should be able to be used at the same time. And the the basement apartment needs to really be updated the fridge has rust spot on it. The microwave didn't work it would shoot sparks. The dryer doesn't dry good. Then the garbage cans were full outside when we got here and you couldn't move them cause they were full of water and they stanked really bad. But overall we loved the place and will come back. I think I all of us had a great time and enjoyed the nice quiet nature and views
