Michelle, thank you for taking the time to review and rate your stay. Yes, your concerns regarding the shower/bathtub. Housekeeping has been instructed by me to keep the floor of the tub scrubbed and clean. I'm sorry that it was not clean enough for you :-( I am passing your comments on to our management company as the issues that you share are management issues. I learned of the electrical outing from our manager today. I hope it wasn't an inconvenience for you. However, I'm not sure what you mean about them not being helpful. Your 4/5 rating equals an 80% -- it is a VRBO negative for our standing. However, without your review, I would not be able to address the bathtub issue, and it certainly is not acceptable to me either! Mahalo, Gloria

Suzanne, thanks for your review, however, I'm not sure I know what you mean by "definitely in need of an update." We have purchased new bedroom and living room furniture, new flooring throughout, a beautiful wood sliding room divider, new kitchen appliances, and new split air conditioning units all in the past couple of years. Perhaps you meant bathrooms and/or window treatments - I could agree with that since they were upgraded and replaced about 7 or 8 years ago. Our goal has always been to provide a clean, comfortable, affordable, and homey Hawaiian-themed condo for our guests -- a relaxing home away from home where guests are not fearful of spills or damage to the property. Our condo is conveniently located to their ship and offers guests the opportunity to extend their Hawaiian vacation by exploring Honolulu and Waikiki's activities and restaurants for a few days, too. Rachelle, even though you communicated to me your reason for rating your stay as a 4 out of 5; unfortunately, you did not write your review to explain your reason for our potential guests to read. However, you indicated in this review, that you had "good communication with Marina Vacations," our management company. As I indicated in my response to your initial booking via VRBO, I said that Marina will assist you with any issue/problem that arises during your stay. The issue that you relayed to me in a separate email yesterday could have been fixed immediately for you. Thus, I am disappointed that your rating translates to an 80%/B- when your other comments to me yesterday were very positive but were not included in this review.
