Our eco-conscious vacation home is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of San Juan del Sur. If you want easy access to town and the nearby southern beaches, this is where you’ll want to stay. Our vacation home is a 10 minute drive to downtown San Juan del Sur and 5 minutes from Playa Remanso – a popular beach destination for beginning surfers and nature lovers.
The home for rent is the top floor of a 2-story building which includes 2 bedrooms and 2 en suite bathrooms. It comes fully furnished and equipped with a queen bed in each bedroom, a couch in the living room, hot water and wifi throughout.
The open-concept kitchen living room and large covered porch is ideal for cooking, lounging and outdoor dining. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator and freezer, a 4-burner stove, pots, pans, a full dish set, a french press to enjoy fresh Nicaraguan coffee and a blender to make tropical fruit drinks.
From the privacy of your own outdoor balcony you can soak up the sunshine and consistent breezes while surrounded by gorgeous trees, tropical birds and the occasional howler monkey. Walk 5 minutes down the road and you can dip into the community pool and order meals at the restaurant on site.

We're Bastin and Debbie, originally from Holland. After many trips both inside and outside of Europe we we're caught by the travel bug. In 2011 we took the leap and moved to Nicaragua. After exploring each corner of the country we settled in the lively beach town San Juan del Sur. We've stayed at several long term rental places but finally decided we wanted a place of our own. We purchased a beautiful piece of land, tucked away in the hills of Congo Hills. With a lot of love and patience we built our own house as well as a rental unit on the same property, In 2017 the Jungalow opened its doors for visitors.
What we love about San Juan del Sur?

Fully equipped tropical and clean 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with en suite bathrooms, open-concept kitchen living room and large covered porch. Newly built, tucked away in the hills, constant breezes and surrounded by jungle, big trees, monkeys and tropical birds. Perfectly located between town and close to Remanso beach. The apartment is the top floor of a 2 story building, includes hot water, wifi and access to the club house (restaurant with beautiful large pool), a 5 minute walk away
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
Quiet, peaceful property only a 10 minute drive away from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Juan del Sur. Because of the many large trees on the property we have a lot of shady spots and while it might be hot and sticky in downtown SJDS, we get a nice breeze almost all the time. So A/C is not needed. Would you like to sun tan though? There's enough sunny spots to be found around the apartment or relax at the pool at the near by Black Monkey club house. In the garden you find fresh ingredients like basil, oregano, cilantro and lemon grass that you're welcome to use.
