Great location. Beautiful view!

We had a great stay. We really liked the condo--the view from the lanai was fantastic! The condo was well stocked with appliances, pots, pans, etc. Comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Property in a Great Location

This condo was in a great location for exploring Hawaii! The view from the lanai and master bedroom was beautiful. The property owner was an excellent communicator and resolved one very small issue immediately.

Nice Kona adjacent condo

Condo was clean and ready for us. Once we opened it up and got some breeze-through, it was comfortable without a/c. Well equiped kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the bbq and lovely sunset views. Nearby market and shopping were very handy. Quiet location and the pool was nice too.

Beautiful views from the lanai

This is a wonderful property in a more quiet area of Kailua-Kona. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost any appliance you would ever need. Nice big BBQ right on the lanai which we used almost every night. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning to watch the golfers and evening watching the beautiful sunsets. Keauhou Shopping Centre is less than a 10 min walk away which has a grocery store, Longs Drug Store and other shops and restaurants. About a 2 min drive down Ali‘i Dr. just past the shopping centre, there is a vendor that sells fresh fruit and other items. On most days you will also find someone selling fresh fish. We enjoyed our stay very much and did not want to leave. Thank you Erin for letting us enjoy your amazing home.

Great condo with 1 major drawback

It's a great condo. The location is fine and access is great. There's excellent internet and the kitchen is well supplied. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are fine. Other than one thing, this is a great rental unit. As others have indicated, it has one major drawback, however. The unit isn't air conditioned, making staying in it during the day very difficult. We like to cook dinners when we stay in STRs, but it was impossible here, as the unit is VERY warm during the days. Cooking wasn't an option. There is no privacy, as you must keep all of the windows and door open when you're in the unit. You can literally hear every voice outside and of conversations nearby on the golf course. Nights were uncomfortable for me, although my wife found the nights OK. Energy prices in HI are roughly 2 to 3 times what they are in the continental US, so air conditioning is rare in HI. If you're not used to a warm climate, it can be difficult. Unfortunately that ruined the experience for us.

A good stay

Property was exactly as described. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Being that the unit does not have aircondioning it did get a little warm a couple days even with the fans. But we were there for the warmth:) Unit is well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Only downfall I found was the road from the back bedroom was a little loud at times. But other than that, we had a good stay:)

Perfect condo for our stay on Hawaii.

Beyond our expectations. Picture’s don’t do it justice. Clean quiet accommodations. Comfy beds and fluffy towels.. Well equipped kitchen. Erin was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Spectacular view from the lanai. Stunning sunsets over the ocean. We would highly recommend.

Big Island Retreat

Our family enjoyed a week at this Keauhou condo. Location was close to shops, restaurants, coffee farms and only two hours from Volcano National Park. Accomodations were clean and comfortable with a clear view of the ocean and gorgeous sunsets. Needed wrap or foil for food items, otherwise, plenty of household supplies. It did get very warm on two days and a floor fan would have been nice to accommodate the ceiling fans. Overall, a pleasant stay in a beautiful location.

Great host, everything worked fine.

We enjoyed the location. The only nuisance is that the golf resort is being maintained at night or very early in the morning. Lawn mowers, very powerful sprinkler and even excavators got us out of bed almost every night.

Very quiet place with a beautiful view from the lanai. No stairs! There are always free parking spaces available. Grocery store within walking distance. Easy communication with host Erin.

Beautiful view of the ocean

This was a nice place that had a wonderful view of the ocean. The apartment/condo was very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this listing to everyone.

Lanai with a Spectacular View

Property was well maintained and has a fully stocked kitchen making cooking a pleasure, BBQ Grill works great located on lanai. We stayed a month and the condo has all the comforts of home. Spent lots of time on the lanai taking in the lovely golf course and ocean view, sunsets were spectacular!! Convenient location close to Keauhou shopping center, walking distance. Property has easy access from guest parking to condo front entrance (no stairs in or out).

Comfortable, clean and convenient location

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The view is very beautiful and it's fairly quiet. The beds were comfortable and it was clean and tidy. There is a good, friendly, grocery store a few minutes away and a short drive to the ocean. We did quite a bit of exploring and found it a good central location. The company that Erin recommended for the manta ray snorkel was super. They're a family business and provided us an amazing experience. We had one problem with the sink and Erin was very quick to have it fixed. Thank you for sharing your place with us. Diane & family

We are the Yeck family.... Erin, Fred, Hutson (5) , and Madeira (1). Fred and I lived on the Big Island for 15 years, specifically Kona, before work brought us to the beautiful Oregon Coast. We love returning to Kona as much as we can to visit all our friends and family. We hope you all enjoy our condo as much as we do as we consider it to be our second home.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

The Country Club Villa is the perfect mix of being close to the fun action of Kona Town but just far enough out of it to be peaceful. You see the blue ocean from almost every room in the condo but its not so close that it sounds like it is coming in your door. The view is ever changing with the golf course and boats in the bay.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

There is lots of space on the lanai, ample parking, 3 pools, 3 dumpsters - you never feel squeezed in. The location is walking friendly. If you want to go into town we are at mile marker 6 , kind of a long walk but the Keauhou shopping center is 2 blocks away and everything you need is there. You can walk to Keauhou Bay about 1/4 mile down the road rent paddle boards, go kayaking, catch a charter, or just sit at the little café and watch the boats. There are lots of shady spots to sit and watch all the action. Walk over to the Sheraton and watch the Manta Rays at night from the Manta Bar or during the day walk out on their lava cliffs and check out the big waves.

If you have never been to Kona don't panic. When you land at the airport you may think you're on the moon. Not really the Hawaii most people have in mind.... You have to find the hidden spots and the perfect beaches with very few people around...

Erin's Top 10 things to do:

Surfing!!! Lots of local beaches and if you need lessons check out the boys right across from the beach at Kahaluu

Kua Bay Beach right across from the Veteran's Memorial

Magics Sands Beach, mile 4 Alii Drive is fun when it is not too crowded

Take the kids to the Hilton in Waikoloa, sneak in the pool, ride boats, see the dolphins

Drive down to the Place of Refuge about 20 min. south

Go to "Two Step" for the best snorkeling right next to Place of Refuge.

Get a Pizza at Bianelli's in the Keauhou Shopping Center

Have sundown Mai Thai and rice paper ahi at the Kona Inn sit at the bar. The calamari sandwich is amazing also.

Get all your fresh ahi and poke from the Poke Shack mile 3 on Alii Drive

Quinn's has great fish and chips - sit at the bar

Lava Java has incredible cinnamon pullaparts - share portions are huge

The Manta night snorkel is a must!! Check out our friend Bryan for your experience. He does a great job!
