Amazing

Location, location, location! The house was amazing. Deck was just perfect entertain local family who were able to come stay or visit as we live in St. Louis. The entrance to the beach is just steps from the property. Could not have asked for a better host. Host was very responsive to questions from the time of booking to arrival. We will definitely be back.

Location, location, location!

In addition to the perfect location, house has a large deck for easy entertaining as we had family staying next door and around the corner. Space was adequate - 3 couples shared the home and did not feel on top of each other. Having a master bathroom for the 2 senior adults was a big plus. House was clean but living room/entrance walls could use painting or cleaning. Host was very nice. Will definitely rent again. Very comfy home. We had a wonderful vacation.

Excellent location near the beach with amazing views

The location of this property is perfect for our family. Across the street from the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk for the kids. The property is a good size and the exterior deck is a perfect spot for an evening drink. The negative about the property would be the age of the furniture. The bedroom furniture and deck table and chairs are very dated. For the price - I would consider staying again. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner and the location was our most desirable feature.

Great location and outdoor area-look forward to returning

If you are looking for a great location to the beach as well as the boardwalk this is the place! The outside deck was new, clean and spacious-spent most of our time outside which is what you want to do at the shore! We loved it! As others have said the furniture is dated and we found the outside sliding doors were hard to open and the front door knob/keypad gave us trouble on occasion-it can be expected so close to the beach but could use some maintenance. Having new plastic shower curtains for each bathroom would be a nice touch -he did include new shower mats and that was nice ...I recall reading this year he put in new carpeting upstairs which did feel new. Making some updates to mattresses/furniture would be great but all in all the space was great, the location was super and with a few updates it would be a 10 plus! We look forward to returning so that sums it up ...none of the things mentioned are a deal breaker but just would make the stay more enjoyable!

Seaside Park Vacation

Location, location, location.................can't be beat. Close enough to walk to boardwalk fun but far enough not to br noisy. Friendly, accommodating owner. A man of his word.

Week down the shore

Location...Location...Location

We had an amazing time, and pleasant stay in Gerard’s beach home. There was plenty of room, and amenities to make it feel like a home away from home. The wrap around deck offered plenty of room to spread out and sunbath, grill, and spend time around the umbrella table in the shade for meals. The balcony offered picturesque sunrises, sensational ocean views by day, and star gazing at night. The home had a brand new central AC system that worked flawlessly. Awesome to come home to after a day out in the sun. The furniture was comfortable and there are flat screen TVs with cable in each bedroom and living room. We also took advantage of the blue tooth tiki torch speakers. The sound and faux torch effects were great. Especially in the evening. Steps to the beach, close enough to the Seaside Heights Boardwalk to walk to, yet far enough away that you don’t hear the noise, also close enough to walk to the bay for spectacular sunsets. When one of the smoke detectors malfunctioned, Gerard was there to replace them both in a timely fashion, when convenient for us. FYI...we normally stay in Cape May every summer, but we plan to make Gerard’s beach house a yearly ritual summer vacation to get our beach fix! This place has it all.

Amazing week at Seaside Park for the 4th of July!

My family and I had an amazing week long vacation at Seaside Park during the 4th of July! We've been going every summer for the past 4 years, and Gerry's house was by far the most spacious, best location, and offered everything we needed! Each bedroom comes with a cable box which you typically don't see, so that was a great added perk! The rooms had enough space, the bathrooms were kept very clean, and Gerry provides a new bath mat for both showers which was really nice! The living room/dining room and kitchen areas were kept well, and given covid-19, we spent a lot of dinners at home. It was so nice having a big dining room table, as well as the first floor patio table outside. By far the best part of the house is the upstairs top deck off of the master bedroom. The views are incredible - watching the sunset in the morning was one of our favorite things to do. We were also less than a 5 minute walk to the Saw Mill and start of the boardwalk. The location was perfect, given we were close enough to walk, but far enough away from the heights to have quieter evenings. The house is also right off of the L st. beach location, which made it so easy to carry our beach chairs and umbrellas. All in all, Gerry was a fantastic host, and we will definitely be returning! If you're looking for a spacious house with great views, amazing location to the boardwalk and beach, you should look no further!

Awesome View

Thoughtful owner supplies all the necessary elements for a relaxing, fun family vacation. Two wonderful decks one with amazing ocean views and the other great for family meals. Comfortable beds, great water pressure in the showers, plenty of space to hang out. Easy walk to the beach and the boardwalk rides. We will definitely rent this house again!!

Great Location

We stayed in July 2019. The property was clean and comfortable. Great location and short walk to beach and boardwalk. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Townhouse with Awesome Views steps from the Beach

"It's now a week after our trip to Gerry's Place, and my heart pines. To begin the pictures do not do justice to the Oasis that lies just steps from the beautiful clear Waters of the newly replenished Jersey Shore at Seaside Park. (While we were there, the Army Corps of Engineers were doubling if not tripling the beach front, what an awesome sight to see a beach built right before your very eyes.!). Gerry has everything ready when you arrive, and after a 5 minute walk through you are ready to hit the beach with beach tags in hand, no buying weekly passes like other rentals make you do, and just a short five minute walk to the pier! I wish I were there right now ....

Really good vacation spot in Seaside!

Perfect location, well kept property that is fully equipped except for lack of bed pillows and blanket/bedspreads. We loved that we could bring our dog. The balcony was a wonderful second outdoor spot for relaxing. Neighbors are quiet, friendly. Good atmosphere all around. Our family and relatives who visited all enjoyed this rental.

Our stay at this property was absolutely one to remember. Clean and spacious with room for everyone.The owner Gerald thought of everything with all the necessities of home including games for my grandkids. The wrap around deck was so spacious with so much room for my grandkids to play. But most of all the added balcony with views day and night was out of this world. We are sad to leave .. our time went quick . We would definitely stay here again and can’t wait for next summer. Thank you Gerald !!!!

Excellent location /owner was great

We stayed on property for a week. Property location was fabulous. Access to beach directly across the street. House was clean and well kept. The boardwalk is not far from house at all but far enough the noise is not on top of you. He has a amazing wrap around porch that we loved having drinks and gathering on. The view on balcony from master bedroom was breathtaking. Gerald ( owner) gets right back to you when you reach out with questions. My entire family had a wonderful time and loved this property. Again it was clean , decent size rooms, plenty of showers / bathrooms, nice size kitchen and dining area. When i asked my family if they would stay here again , they all said for sure it was perfect. If your looking to stay at seaside park this property has great access to beach and boardwalk. Gerald was available to answer questions or concerns with quick responses. Hope you rent and have a wonderful time and stay as we did.
