"Due West" is perfect for a large group of friends, multiple families, or extended family. This spacious home comfortably sleeps 16, with 6 Ā½ bathrooms and 6+ bedrooms, including 2 masters and a downstairs "bunkroom" ideal for kids and play. All bedrooms are recently painted and re-carpeted. All new sheets, pillows and bedding. Full kitchen renovation completed December, 2019. ā€˜Due Westā€™ is a convenient 10-minute walk to downtown Ketchum and the iconic Sun Valley Lodge and a short walk to local bus service accessing the entire valley and ski areas. A western-style log home with high, beamed ceilings, ā€˜Due Westā€™ boasts a huge, newly redecorated common room with seating area around a wood burning fireplace as well as game table, and bar. Head outdoors for world-class skiing or snowboarding in the winter and fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, or horseback riding in the summer, or simply relax on the large deck, unwind in the hot tub, or walk to Ketchum to enjoy a vibrant art, music, and dining scene. This house will be a terrific base of operations for your Sun Valley escape any time of year!
Two car garage available for auto or equipment storage during your stay. Professional local management company will be available for maintenance calls during your stay but also can assist with housecleaning, kitchen stocking and concierge services if needed. This lovely spacious mountain home is ideal for families or groups, located on golf course close to warm springs chair lift and Ketchum. The hosts were very responsive, their home was generously stocked with essentials in the kitchen and the entire home. Highly recommend

Great house for a large family gathering - up-to-date kitchen, big dining area and living room/bar area made for wonderful family meals and down-time. Easy access to downtown, skiing et.al. Nice to be close to the shuttle route. Our hosts were very responsive and welcoming. All was perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Due West with our family. The home has so much space for large groups and is perfectly located just a few minutes from Dollar Mountain and both access points to Bald Mountain as well as town. You wonā€™t find a better equipped kitchen in any rental property. The home was pristine in cleanliness with comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout. The hot tub was perfect after long ski days. The hosts were incredibly responsive to all our needs!

Amazing Property - Better than the Photos!

We were in town for the week as our daughter was getting married here. When they selected Ketchum for their wedding destination, we knew we would need a home that we could relax in between the events and also use as a "home base" for all the coordination activities. The spaces were all generously sized, great bathrooms, we loved the open living area, but most of all loved the modern, clean and fantastic vibe the newly furnished and amenities spaces provided. We hope to be back!

Outstanding VRBO property

As advertised and more. Great location to Ketchum and Sun Valley. Worked so well for out large family group. Contact with the owners was prompt and seamless. Well stocked and everything worked. We received close to 4 feet of snow in the week we were there and the private snow removal team was there 3 times to keep access clear. all parties loved it and we would certainly use again if we return and would highly recommend. Perfect house for a large family group.

We enjoyed our month long stay immensely. At various times, we had as many as 12 people and as few as two. The age range was 1 year to 76 years. The house works perfectly for all sizes and ages, even being safe for a 1 year old. The common spaces are large enough to accommodate everyone while the house design allows privacy in the bedroom wings. The host and property manager were wonderfully generous and responsive. A true 5 star experience.

Perfect ā€œBig-Familyā€ House

Our three generation family spent over a week here and there was enough space to separate when we needed space but the together- space was big and comfortable. The location is close to everything especially on bikes. The neighborhood is quiet. We all agreed it was a perfect gathering spot. There is nothing I would change. Dave was easy to communicate with and the home instructions were straightforward. Iā€™d love to return to this house the next time we all choose to gather in Ketchum.

Family stay for wedding

Perfect place for a group with a wide range of ages. The large common area is a huge asset: Beautifully updated kitchen flows to large dining area, super-comfortable/spread out "living area" and then "bar area" with more seating. Three bedrooms at one end of house and another three at the other. Huge bunk bunk room is also very separate. Owners were super responsive accommodating. Was a little worried when we first arrived... outside area showing signs of winter wear (peeling deck surface, old door mat) but the rest was beautiful and the location is perfect for access to both Ketchum and SV.

Beautiful home, well appointed, great location

This was the perfect location for our trip. I planned a vacation with my family, which included my wife and I, our 4 adult kids plus SO's, and my sister and her husband from Boise. This house had all the space to comfortably accommodate everyone. Big bedrooms and plenty of baths. A large living area. A beautiful kitchen which is VERY well stocked. A big hot tub. The outside looked lovely, but since it was January, we weren't spending time outside other than the hot tub. There was an unexpected issue when we arrived, but this was quickly addressed by the property manager and the owners. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, but very close to downtown and the ski areas. If you need a nice house to accommodate your large group, this is the place for you. I would highly recommend this property and will gladly rent again on a return trip to Sun Valley.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Due West. From the moment we booked, everything felt seamless..the owners were incredibly responsive and flexible, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free.The house itself is a dream for families: great layout, clean, thoughtfully appointed, and very comfortable. The location couldnā€™t be better - we loved being close to everything and especially enjoyed walking to breakfast at Bigwood Bakery.Weā€™d absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely Beautiful House

We had the best time staying at this property! The house is beautiful, the kitchen is large and well stocked, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet youā€™re still close to everything you need. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group. The hot tub was a lovely touch to watch the stars late at night. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very responsive. Would highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

Home Away from Home

My family has travelled the world, but I am the only one who has been to Idaho. In the midst of 2021 quarantine, they trusted me to book a trip, sight unseen, for 11 people across three generations. This house delivered a wonderful experience for all in our family, from 3 to 77 years old. The bunk room was great for the kids and all adults enjoyed well-appointed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Our most used room was the kitchen. It is wonderfully updated and stocked with everything needed to cook a gourmet meal. The location cannot be beat in Ketchum: walking distance to town, the Big Wood River path and Bigwood Bakery. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Elizabeth & David live on a small farm in Virginia with horses, dogs, cats and their kids. we discovered Ketchum / Sun Valley with friends one summer when we hiked, biked, fished, rafted and ate cheeseburgers in town. We came back in the winter and were hooked. This is a great family town that has a full range of food, shopping and fun for all tastes and ages. We look forward to sharing our house with you and your family.

This house can accommodate family groups and that is how we usually roll. Extended families can stay together comfortably. A car is certainly helpful but kids can easily move around town and access all activities on foot or bike or bus. The privacy of a single family home but close enough to town to be easy!

Prior to arrival you will be put in touch with our professional local property management company. The company will be available to respond to any maintenance issues if they arise but can also help with kitchen stocking, cleaning and concierge services if needed.

The big common room has a fireplace, a poker table and a bar! Kitchen opens to allow interaction between everyone. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. One bathroom opens straight to hot tub so guests can shower and change.
