Enjoy the Lake with amazing views in our recently renovated house. One of the best lots on the Lake. Available year round. It is located in a large peaceful "no-wake" cove about 25 minutes from I95. A beautiful sandy beach nearly 100 feet long, large swimming and sunning dock, screened in porch on boat house, beautiful waterfall with professional landscaping, gentle slope to the waterfront, putting green complete with sand trap and tee, bonfire pit, hammock, plenty of sun and shade, stairs into water and much more. There are lots of lake front entertaining spaces to make GREAT memories. Valentine House has it's own private boat ramp and great fishing. Almost 300 feet of waterfront with both deep and shallow water access. High speed cable internet. Paddleboat(NEW 2025), 2 kayaks and some water toys included for your enjoyment.
House renovations include an all new kitchen and new bathrooms in 2018. Large great room with huge picture windows and amazing views of the lake. 3 bedrooms are located on the main floor allowing for easy access for children or seniors. The master beds are new and comfy. A master bedroom suite complete with an adjustable king size bed, beautiful bathroom with large shower, and French doors that lead to side porch. Another master bedroom with a king size bed and a door that leads to a different side porch. The 3rd bedroom has a full size bed. On the second floor there is a 4th bedroom that has 2 twin beds. There is a 5th bedroom on the 2nd floor with a bunkbed that has a pull out trundle. In the loft area on the 2nd floor there is a daybed that has a trundle as well. The large open kitchen has plenty of new appliances and plenty of storage space. Lots of dishes, glasses, pot and pans , serving dishes, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, blender and more available for your use. Large table for dining and bar seating at the counter as well. 60" TV, blu-ray player, and lots of dvds in the great room for those rainy days. Foosball table in loft with lots of games for young and old alike. Large Propane grill on patio. New Hot Tub is in the covered and screened patio above the waterfall.
20 minutes from Lake Anna State park where there is lots of hiking trails. Dollar General is 10 minutes away and Food lion is about 20 minutes . 30 minutes to King's Dominion. 10 minutes to Lake Anna Winery. 5 minutes to Pleasants Landing and El Gran Patron.
If you are boating, you are close to the widest part of the lake and Dike 3, which is one of the best fishing spots on the lake. There is a boat rental marina directly across the lake from our cove, about a 5 minute boat ride.
In summer, rentals are available for minimum of 6 days during high-season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). During the summer, check-in is only available on Saturday or Sunday. Summer check-out is only available on Friday or Saturday. Off season rentals are available for a minimum of 4 nights.

Lovely cozy lake house for our big family ! Kitchen supplied with everything for cooking meals ! We loved being right on the water with the beach for the campfire. Fishing was great. We were outside almost the whole week ! Quiet neighborhood. We loved Valentine house for our first trip to Lake Anna .

The property is amazing. It had so much to see and do right on site, and the views were awesome. Elderly folks could sit inside or outside to enjoy views while the younger folks paddled, played on the beach, searched for shells, and played games. The middle generation could relax in the hot tub and sip wine by a blazing fire. Only shortcoming was some lightbulbs didnt work, but that doesn't affect the full experience.

The property is well kept, clean, and family friendly. Our kids loved everything about the property from hunting for Bigfoot in the woods, making sandcastles, to perfecting their putting skills. The water around the enclosed dock was deep enough to jump in without touching the bottom as well which is a bonus for the adults that donā€™t like that feeling!

This is our fourth year staying on this property. We LOVE it so much. The house is gorgeous. The property is beautiful. The location on the lake is perfect for jetskiing and tubing. The house is well stocked. The fact that the linens are included is such a plus!The interactions with the host is always wonderful. We already have our stay booked for next summer!

Restful retreat

We love Valentine House! This was our second stay. The location and views of the lake are magnificent. The house is beautifully appointed and, kitchen well provided and amenities fabulous. Rooms are super comfortable and spacious. Cable TV would be nice but thatā€™s the only drawback.

Amazing Property

This is our 3rd time staying at this wonderful property. The location is amazing. We bring our jetskis and it is a perfect place for tubing. The house is absolutely perfect. All amenities are more than we could ask for. The property is gorgeous. The waterfall, beach and hot tub are all fantastic!

Such a gorgeous property. This is our 2nd stay here and it's just a wonderful place. Everythng is clean! The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. We bring our jetskis and it's a perfect part of the lake to ride around every day. Can't wait to visit again next year!

Best house on the Lake! and Nanette is the best host! This was our 3rd summer at the Valentine house. I could go on and on about the house but its already hard to rent and we don't want to lose our spot next year šŸ˜‚.

Amazing Vacation!

This is our first VRBO experience and canā€™t say enough great things. The property was absolutely stunning. We spent most of our stay in the screened in porch/swimming off the dock. The littles very much enjoyed playing in the sand and splashing around at the beach. The house was comfortable and fully stocked with ALL the kitchen supplies you could think of. We are sad to see that this property is not available next summer because it was hands down, the best house we have ever stayed in!

Family vacation at Valentine House

Our family had a wonderful stay last week at the Valentine House! The property was spectacular with a beautiful boat house, private dock and beach, lovely firepit area on the beach. Lots of yard too for us to play yard games/sports. Quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and had everything we needed and more! It fit our family perfectly! Nanette was a wonderful hostess and answered our questions in a timely manner. It was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together as a family. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again!

In love with The Valentine House

We have been staying at the Valentine House for 1 week over the last few summers and every time has been wonderful. The house and its location are perfect and feels private, but still close to go tubing or take the boat out. The beach area is lovely with soft sand and very few rocks to worry about. The boathouse is screened in and perfect to hang out in. The house is beautiful and Nanette does such a great job of making you feel like your vacation going well is as important to her as it is to you. She is responsive and gracious. We love the house and area so much that we have already booked again for next year and canā€™t wait to be back at the Valentine House.

Such a beautiful home. Check in was easy. The amenities were outstanding. Two kayaks and a paddle boat. Games galore. A fire pit. Any time I had a question all I did was message the owner and she got back to me within minutes. The kitchen had everything that was needed. Things like tape and scissors and string and a sharps. Things that are easily forgotten when packing. Many food storage items. My family had a wonderful time. The view was gorgeous. Plenty of room. From the moment I booked until the moment I checked out Nanette was always there to respond to my questions. A nice screened in porch by the dock. I would recommend this home completely. Thank you for all you did to make our stay wonderful.
