Enjoy a lake front cottage in the Thumb of Michigan. A must see!

Relax in our beautifully remodeled air-conditioned cottage overlooking the shores of Lake Huron. The spacious kitchen (equipped with high end appliances) and open floor plan is designed for a perfect family get-away. The 1,045 sq. ft. cottage includes four bedrooms (sleeps 8), cable TV, internet, dishwasher, washer, dryer and other amenities to make your vacation comfortable and one to remember. Enjoy watching the sunset on our deck overlooking the lake, with plenty of property to enjoy yard games and grilling marshmallows in the fire pit. Located on the north shore of Sand Point, you are minutes away from Caseville, Port Austin and other small town gems in the Thumb of Michigan. Our cottage includes weekly rentals rates starting Memorial Day weekend through September.

Well equipped kitchen! We loved how large the kitchen was with room for multiple chefs. The place is very well maintained, clean and well laid out. We loved our stay, enjoyed the kayaks and the wonderful view of Lake Huron.

This cottage was truly amazing! So cozy and comfortable with special touches throughout the cottage. The owners have literally thought of EVERYTHING that you may need while you are there. Very, very clean! We enjoyed the open floor plan, amazing kitchen with high end appliances. So nice to have two bathrooms with 5 adults and a very high end shower. Communication was excellent with the host. My family and I had a wonderful time at this cottage where many fond memories were made! The sunsets and views of Lake Huron were spectacular!! Thank you for sharing your charming home with us. Can’t wait to come back!

The cottage is amazing, great location, comfortable, and has everything you need. Our family of 6 (3 adults and 3 teenage boys) all enjoyed our stay. The view from the back patio is perfect and has great access to the water. The Sand Point area is low key and is a great place to relax.

Beautiful

Everything was fabulous. The view is breathtaking. Communication was easy and quick. Everything about our stay was great. The house is so cute, lots of essentials were already there. I LOVED having beach towels and pool floats supplied We were super happy with our stay ! Theresa was very quick to respond and super friendly!

Nice cottage on the water

This cottage has a great layout- a large eat-in kitchen with lots of counter space. I enjoyed the open floor plan, great views of the water! We loved sitting on the deck over the water!

A slice of Heaven on Earth.

This is our 3rd year going. We wait until it’s quieter to get some R&R. The cottage is very comfortable. Right on the water, so it’s very relaxing. We’re giving a 10/10 all the way around. We would recommend this cottage! The host was very sweet and easy to communicate with.

Great get-away on Lake Huron

This lake house was cozy, comfortable and clean. The views of the sunrise/sunset were amazing! So many fun things to do there, for adults and kids. We would love to visit again!!

Great cottage with a great location

Very roomy, clean, updated cottage with a nice deck overlooking Lake Huron. A beautiful view with a large, shallow, sandy area for enjoying the water. Cottage is well stocked with all necessities and a shed hold lots of outdoor items including kayaks. A very enjoyable experience.

R&R at the Lake

The cottage was clean and everything we needed to get relaxed. We hosted our 85 year old aunt and she was able to move around comfortably. The walk in shower was nice to have instead of a tub. We will be back to this area again

Absolutely amazing!

We could not find anything that wasn’t just like the listing. We went in October so the weather was cold and windy. But, the white caps on the lake were beautiful! We went for some R&R and that’s exactly what we got. The cottage is extremely clean and well furnished. Everything you need! We are definitely going back! Teresa was a great host! I have told friends and family about it and I think a few might book for next year!!

Absolutely perfect!

My husband, myself and my two adult sons stayed for 9 nights. The house is so nice, so clean and so well stocked. The sunsets were breathtaking. Highly recommend!!

Great getaway cottage

It is a great cottage with everything you need!! It has the perfect deck area to watch the sunrise and sunset. The cottage is close to additional places for outside activities. We would love to return in the future.

Beautiful Property

My family enjoyed this clean and comfortable cottage and its beautiful location on Lake Huron. The cottage is in great shape, with good wi-fi, air conditioning, kayaks, and a well appointed kitchen with all necessities. Caseville and Port Austin are nearby with lovely beaches, piers, some shopping and restaurants (Lefties in Caseville has good food and great service). Golfing is nearby (courses, driving ranges and mini golf). We thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to return in the future!

Great cottage

Cottage is very well maintained, very clean. The location is great, its near grocery stores, restaurants and nearby shops. Neighbors are friendly. The back deck is incredible specially at night! The weather didnt cooperate during our stay, but we enjoyed staying in the cottage. It has very comfy beds, and everything you could possibly need from fully stocked kitchen to beach towels. Communicating with Teresa was great, she was just a call away. Both Teresa and Dwight are great hosts!

Heaven on Earth

T and Dg are really special. They have turned a house into a home. The place is open and airy and has a view of the water from almost every room. Water toys, kayaks, games, puzzles, beach towels, bikes, and so much more all provided by the hosts. The house is located only a few miles from the town. You get your choice of lake life and /or city commotion. The sunsets are amazing!! The house has a well stocked kitchen and many thoughtful items throughout. This was our second time staying at this home. We absolutely love it. We will book again.

Amazing property and host

The four of us stayed for our yearly girls long weekend. For ten years we’ve been looking for a property that we say we would rebook and we’ve finally found it! The home is impeccably appointed with decorations, cozy blankets, amazing smelling hand soaps along with many other wonderful things. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures when booking didn’t do it justice. Everything we needed was furnished. We appreciated all games/outdoor toys, they even had a baby pool. A great place for our family getaway. I would certainly recommend this rental to anyone.
