Welcome to the Tiki Beach House! Just a 10-minute walk to the beach! This newly renovated island-inspired house is relaxing, spacious, and fun. Set on a large wooded lot, in a private cul-du-sac, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1 outdoor shower, a large living room dining room combo, a renovated kitchen with granite countertops, a separate enclosed Tiki bar room, a garage with guest bikes, foosball table and dartboard, and a large multi car driveway. The house has central AC, a washer/dryer, and ceramic tile floors throughout. The dining room table seats 8-10, plenty of seating in the living room, and smart TVs in all bedrooms, and the living room.

Sizable yard perfect for outdoor BBQ with a patio dining table and umbrella for outdoor entertaining. Only blocks to the center of Bethany Beach and the boardwalk. Beach chairs, a beach cart, and bikes are included. Relaxing hammock and Adirondacks chairs in the side yard are ideal for reading under the shade trees.

Clean, accessible, good for family with 2 kids

My wife loved the breezeway and found her reading her book drinking coffee everymorning which was a nice bonus. Great working 2 full bathrooms and washer and dryer worked great!

Girls Get Away

The property was a great place for our annual family “Girls Get-Away. Plenty of space. Quiet cul-de-sac location. Walking distance was reasonable to all things, beach, boards, shopping and restaurants even for my 70 year old mom. Would stay here again.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tiki Beach house. The house was very spacious which was a pleasant surprise. The location worked out perfectly for our family vacation with teens that could enjoy the walk to the beach or shops. There is plenty of room for parking, so no need to juggle fighting for spaces. The owner was super responsive and accommodating and the house comes stocked with some extras like bikes, helmets, and beach gear, which makes it super convenient for packing. We will definitely return!

Spacious living near the beach

This home was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Meal preparation in the nice kitchen was a breeze, and the living area easily accommodated our group of seven. The walk to the downtown area was not easy on the shoulder of a busy road with a young child, so we did have to drive more than originally planned.

Great stay at the Tiki House

We enjoyed the house; owners were very proactive and responsive and communicated with us before and during the trip including info and recs on things to do in the area and places to eat. Also one example is we ended up in the area much earlier than planned and texted the owners and they said they would call us once the cleaning was done so we could access the house as soon as possible. and we could check in. We really enjoyed the location and using the bikes as well as the foosball table and dart board. House was clean and tons of room and space and the outdoor shower became an instant favorite. We plan to return!

Annual Family Beach Trip

Our family, now a group of over 50, has been coming to Bethany every summer for about 35 years. We usually rented through an agency. In 2020 our trip was cancelled and we were not sure we would be coming in 2021. We turned to VRBO to find a house and discovered the Tiki House. It was our first time across the highway, but our "kids" are now adults and the neighborhood and house were lovely. Tradition is great, but sometimes change us good, too.

Just ADORABLE! Our family and friends enjoyed our 4th of July week at the Tiki House !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was so cute and cozy... but the kids were really happy to have WiFi... if the adults wanted to relax outside in the shade of the trees and the quiet of the neighborhood.. the kids were still entertained by modern technology. Close to the boardwalk, the owners supplied bikes so you could walk or take a ride! Close to the action, but far enough away that you didn’t need to hear all the commotion of downtown. During our stay the AC broke but the owners were on it immediately! They even offered a longer stay.

Ladies weekend

We came to the Tiki House as a group of 6 women for a 4 day weekend to relax, enjoy the beach, and to play tennis at the nearby Sea Colony Resort. The pictures of this house do it no justice. The house is adorable, spacious, and immaculate. We each had our own favorite spot- to enjoy coffee, conversation, local birds, or quiet time. We all commented that we felt like we were staying over a good friend's house. Inviting and warmly decorated. The bedrooms, esp. the master, were spacious with plenty of room for our belongings and tennis gear. We enjoyed nearby restaurants, as well as the spacious kitchen. As a chef, I enjoyed having lots of elbow room as I prepared my friends large meals. The beach is only a few blocks away, as well as any store or restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood. We felt we got our best bang for our buck by choosing this home- away from the crowds. We would rent this home in a heartbeat the next time we are down in DE.

Wonderful place to stay and great hosts

The hosts are very communicative and helpful and just overall such nice people. The house is beautiful inside and spacious and well-appropriated. The beds are comfy and everything is just as cozy as can be. The outdoor hammock and dining areas were great places to relax as well when taking a break from the beach. I don't have a single major complaint at all. A few minor things: - The house is definitely walkable to the beach, but it turned out to be a little far with younger kids who can't bike yet. Know that going in. I had a beach wagon that I loaded them up in with some gear, but we found most days we just drove and parked at the beach, and parking at Bethany is TOUGH and EXPENSIVE. First beach I've been to before that is so tough and expensive to access. Bethany was way more crowded than I'd been led to believe online as well, my tip would be drive to South Bethany, we had much more space to breathe on the beach down there. - House needs some ant traps! - Beware the kitchen sink, if you pull down the sprayer, the top part of it that connects into the hose has a leak and will squirt you right in the face! Overall, great place and I'd stay again if I ever come back to Bethany.

Bethany Beach Family Vacation

Our family of five travelled from Ontario to Bethany Beach for our summer road trip vacation. I was very impressed with the property and area, enough to take the time to offer a review, an exercise that I usually refrain from. The summer home is in a quiet cul de sac off a main artery that provides peace from the bustling community. My wife and I enjoyed some quiet time in the yard in the evenings and witnessed a fair amount of wildlife; fox, squirrels and bats, in the AM; turtles and cardinals and blue jays. Our children enjoyed the luxury of a TV in all the bedrooms, something that is not provided at home. The bedrooms are comfortable, nicely decorated and clean ,as well as the bathrooms. The outdoor shower was a hit for us all, and a great idea to keep the sand outside. The owners also provided many amenities to enhance our stay; gas grill, sea food utensils, beach cart with cooler, chairs and umbrellas and the bicycles. The tantrum bike was very popular with all three of my children and the enjoyed having me pilot it around the block. The home has a great dining area with a large table that was great to gather around. The owners have put a great amount of time and effort into decorating the home in a vacation beach theme. The Tiki bar was an added bonus enjoyed on a rainy day. Our family also enjoyed the walk to the beach, however crossing the two busy roads was inconvenient . We cut through Bethany Beach Proper which made the experience more enjoyable. I will definitely stay again.

Best Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay for our family weekend and girls getaway. It was the best medicine, especially for a group of preschool teachers. It was a quick walk into town, the Bethany boardwalk and the beach. Although the house is a little dated, it was clean, comfortable, and well kept. The house was well stocked with beach supplies and bikes, and after a long relaxing day at then beach, coming back to the house and using the outdoor shower was a nice ending to a wonderful day. The neighborhood is quiet and very family friendly. The host could not have been more responsive and friendly. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful time!

This house is a happy house. My family really enjoyed our stay. The house is much larger than it appears and it was clean. I love the outdoor shower. There are plenty of beds and a yard for kids to enjoy. The owners are simply lovely people who will go out of their way to make sure you’re happy. Will return!!

Great beach house for family getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Tiki house. The rooms and overall house were larger than the photos convey, and the neighborhood was safe and family friendly. It is a true 18 minute walk to the beach. Though the rental includes access to the full house and outside amenities, it's worth noting for other large groups the listed price is for 4 people only. All other guests will be charged $25/person per day. Price aside, it was a great stay and we look forward to returning to Bethany!

Outstanding location

Perfect.

Large house with plenty of beds! It was prefect for our family of 4. Close to restaurants, the beach & parking. Beach chairs & chair cart in the garage was fantastic! The rooms were all nicely sized; good for kids and parents. TVs in all the rooms was great for the kids too. We are saving this property for future stays!

Relaxing and Peaceful Time Away

We really enjoyed our time away. The house was comfortable and spacious. It’s a hidden gem. Just a short walk/drive to the beach. Clodie was so helpful. She answered all our questions and sent reminders about what to bring. We will definitely go back.

Walkability is where our beach house stands out! Don't worry about paying for parking, walk with ease to enjoy a day at the beach. After a long day of playing in the sand, come home to a pleasant tree canopied outdoor shower. Then cozy up with a nice tropical blended drink (blender provided) in the Tiki patio room. Either walk to nearby restaurants or have a feast at home using the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ and sit together at our outdoor dining set.
