Happy Stella’s Cove Stay

Everything was lovely, thoughtful, and comfortable. Our group of adults enjoyed the birds, the water, and every moment of our early May stay in this light-filled home.

Charming retreat on the bay.

This lovely property was everything we hoped for and more. Gorgeous water views from almost every room. Peaceful and tranquil, private and comfortable. A perfect getaway!

Wonderful Bay Views

The house was spacious, clean, with everything we needed right there. The grandkids especially enjoyed the large yard and kayaks. We highly recommend this house and would rent it again!

Excellent Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stella's Cove. The views here are inspiring! Although we went off-season, most of the stores and restaurants in Bethany and Rehoboth were open. The house is spacious and cozy, with lots of spots to gather together or just curl up with a good book. We highly recommend this property and owner!

Great south Bethany retreat!

Wonderful site on the bay with dock access and beautiful yard and amenities. Short walk to private beach. Downtown Bethany minutes away. Stayed for a week and wanted more! Thank you! Highly recommend.

Great house and location

Our stay was wonderful. The house was beautiful, well equipped and the location was perfect. Plenty of room for the kids and pups plus enough space to have quiet time as well. Beautiful views from all the windows. Lisa was a pleasure to deal with. Her communication was timely and she answered all our questions. I can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this location!

Our family have been visiting Bethany for over 15 years and this has been one of the best places we have ever stayed. The host was incredible from before we arrived to after, accommodating, answering our questions, and overall wonderful. The house is just beautiful and makes you feel at home the minute you walk in. The views are incredible and can be seen in just about every room. Our growing family loved the kayaks, playing in the yard, reading in the sunroom, and having so many areas to play board games, have conversation, nap! The kitchen is well-stocked, which the cooks in our family appreciated so much. Location is perfect for the beach, walking, biking, and shopping. We will definitely be back. Thank you Lisa and family!

July 2022 Trip

This property and the owner, Lisa are AMAZING!!! The place was perfect, beautiful views out every window, the BEST place I have ever stayed at the beach. Thank you so much for letting us stay for a much needed break and you made it very easy for us to fell at home immediately. We definitely want to return! I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else after finding this gem! Just beautiful!

Enjoyable March 2024 Weekend with Family

We loved our stay in this wonderful, spacious bay front home, which has everything you would want or need and more! The home is well maintained, clean, & comfortable, with awesome water views from almost every room. The host Lisa is very helpful and easy to communicate with. We love that it is pet friendly and just a short walk to the beach. Easy access to Bethany and Ocean City. We highly recommend Stella’s Cove and hope to come back again!

Delightful Holiday

This property was beautiful, charming, and spaciously comfortable from the start to finish. Both inside and out or lovely. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. There were so many options for great times indoors and outside. Beautiful water views, and every vacation item imaginable was at our fingertips. We loved this property.

Fantastic house

Everything about this house is wonderful. The rooms are even more spacious than the pictures depict and are arranged such that privacy is available to anyone who wants a break from the group. We really enjoyed the large deck and yard. Having kayaks, bicycles, and beach equipment handy made the week truly exceptional. Lisa and Bob are wonderful hosts, too.

Just Perfect

It couldn't have been better! Perfect location, gorgeous views, fabulous amenities (kayaks/bikes/well stocked kitchen) very clean, pet friendly - really perfect! Gathering of 5 longtime friends for a girl's extended weekend away. This is an all around, 5 star property. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again! Peaceful waterfront getaway

This house is well and fairly depicted. The lot and environs are peaceful, the house is clean and spacious with stunning water views in just about every direction. Great for dogs - mine loved the water, the gulls, the birds and geese! Neighborhood is quiet and private and the owner is lovely. Only regret is that it books up so fast - we would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Home

House was clean and very spacious. Everything was just as advertised. The kids used the kayaks and we played corn hole. Neighborhood was very quiet. Everything about the house was fantastic. It definitely won't disappoint you.

Stella's Cove is a beautiful home located on a peaceful cove that located a short walk from the beach. The home is tastefully appointed with high-quality furniture and items and a well-stocked kitchen. Everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation is here (plentiful supplies provided like hand soap, tp, etc). Tons of room for a large family to spread out and enjoy a beach vacation. We brought our dog and were able to bring her on the beach and she loved every minute of it. We enjoyed the large yard, beautiful sunrises, kayaking in the bay and just the peaceful serenity of Stella's Cove and the nearby restaurants in Bethany Beach. Easy check in and clear instructions from the gracious host made staying there a breeze. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, we miss it already!

Great week on the bay

Wonderful place for a casual family reunion. Plenty of spaces to spread out, play games and put together puzzles, scoop the net off the dock, kayak around the waterways, and walk to the beach. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of equipment for a variety of cooking techniques. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas, and bikes. The second fridge was handy, too! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back in the future.

Location Location Location

The house is spacious and beautiful!!! The amenities are new and top rated. There was plenty of room (not just bedrooms but living areas) for 8 adults and 2 dogs. The location gives you the best of the bay and beach. There were enough kayaks for everyone to enjoy the bay, and we were able to fish/crab right from the property. The beach is walking distance and not crowded. If you have a surf fishing permit and 4X4, you can park right on the beach (but you need to be "actively" fishing while parked there).

There are good reasons why this house is getting so many 5-star reviews

Spent two nights here with a group of old friends. The interior I think is even nicer than the photos show. There are interesting sculptures and art pieces throughout. The master suite has a large and beautifully tiled shower. The kitchen is equipped with items I haven't seen in most rentals (e.g., wine carafe, knives that are sharp and good, very quiet Bosch dishwasher, etc.) The owner is responsive and friendly. I'd rent this place without hesitation again.

Perfect getaway for a group of mom-friends!

We recently stayed at Stella's Cove with a group of 6 women, and we had a fantastic time and loved the house and area! The house was extremely clean, great bedroom selection, and we loved the layout and flow of the first floor. There were multiple areas that we could all comfortably fit in to hang out. The kitchen is well stocked, views are beautiful, and lots of great food and amenities in the area! It was very quiet, at least in early May. Lisa (owner) is extremely responsive and helpful, and was patient with all my questions and resolving any questions/issues we had while we were there. We look forward to visiting again!

Owner as Amazing as Her Residence

Brought our family together for my wife's 60th Birthday at this beautiful home. From almost every window, there were beautiful sights and wild life. The home was spacious and well maintained. Access to the beach was a simple walk across the road and very close to restaurants and bars. The one thing that gave this home a rating of "6" was working with the owner. It was like using a friends home. Thank you so much for making my wife's birthday weekend with our 5 kids and significant others such a success!

A wintery week at the beach

Our family of adults needed a late winter retreat and couldn't have chosen a better place than Stella's Cove. It was a lovely home with wonderful views of the bay from every window, the kitchen is stocked with all the things we needed for family dinners and baking great desserts, and the dining table was perfect for playing dominos. When we did venture out there we found a couple of great bookstores and other shops that were open during the winter. Cape Henlopen State Park had interesting history and great views. We saw a couple of orca whales while crossing the Delaware Bay on the Cape May Lewes Ferry, and no crowds at some wonderful seafood restaurants. We have memories to treasure from this week!

Excellent location for a Multigenerational Getaway

This is an absolutely stunning property with wonderful views. What makes it so special is that it is handicap accessible (depending on the size of the equipment, I imagine huge wheelchairs may not go in the bedroom, my mom's rollator worked just fine, and her transport chair got her up the ramp). This made it possible for my elderly mom to join us. The house is enormous, with enough room so that my husband and I, our dog, two middle schoolers and college student could have our own spaces. The kitchen is well equipped and all the appliances work well. The property is well maintained, and the owner is very responsive and nice. We were all very impressed!

South Bethany

Beautiful home on the water. Clean and plenty of towels, blankets and kayaks. Listing had on it a community pool but there wasn’t one. We were very upset about not having access to a pool. We had little children that do better at a pool after the beach or off beach days. Longer walk to the beach- we went to fenwick after the second day to make it easier. It is a beautiful house but we need access to a pool next time

Hi Ginny, thanks so much for your review. I’m very sorry that you were expecting a pool. I wish I had known earlier. As I mentioned when we spoke/texted, the pool access was removed from the VRBO listing quite a while ago. I do make sure that everyone understands that the beach is about a three block walk. There is also parking right across from the beach access. I’d be happy to make up the pool misunderstanding to you and will be in touch. Peaceful Perfection

This property was everything we wanted and so much more. Quiet, beautiful and comfortable - we were able to recharge for the weekend and didn't want to leave. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the home is warm and inviting - we loved all of the personal touches, and the owner was a pleasure to communicate with. We enjoyed a nice walk with the kids thru the neighborhood and chatted with many of the friendly residents. As it was the off season, we were able to arrange for a late check-out that was very much appreciated. There are a wide variety of rooms to meet any groups needs. We especially enjoyed the two separate living rooms so that our group could spread out, but also fit comfortably all together. We will definitely be back as soon as we can, hopefully in warmer weather to take advantage of the water activities.

Thank you so much, Dorrie! I'm so glad you all enjoyed your winter weekend at the beach, and I hope you were able to use the fireplace once or twice. Bay View Park is a very friendly place.
